After the kitkat update of Xolo q1010i the viper4android is being failed to get installed. Does anyone having the same issue? Anyone got a fix? Plz help.. I tried it on other custom kitkat ROMs.. Still its not being installed.. Device is rooted as well as busybox is installed.

Download cwm superuser and flash it via recovery
Again try installing drivers

Yeah I had that same problem of viper4a not getting installed even though busy box was installed. I thought it was the problem with my device only.

Hey bro..!! Same thing happened with me and i tried every workaround(flashing differnt kitkat custom Rom's) untill i figured out it was problem with rooting..!! If u have installed pre SU'ed. ROM, you will be getting the same error.. The only solution is to use kinguser.. Download kingroot and tap on the gree circle( do it if ur phone is already rooted). Then click on the blue circle which will install kinguser app... Now you are properly rooted... Now try installing viper4android..

Do you have a custom recovery installed did you really install superuser or have you only downloaded the app? The proplem can also be caused because you have installed the stoch recovery again.

when i want to check my device root with root checker the program would hanged
even titanium backup wouldn,t show anythingg
just ask for premisson and nothin elese
i want to install tweaks from hydronium rom when i tab on tweaks and choose run with titanium backup it will be stop on: PLEASE WAIT
and nothin would happen
i think its problem with my root can anyone help me

Towelroot dont work with P601.
please someones confirm us about lollipop 5.0.1.

Root access working on Lollipop for me. Installed latest TWRP and downloaded Chainfire SU to internal memory. Flashed the zip through the recovery and restarted.
try any version of su over 2.4

did you try on HTC M8 or nexus ?
i tried super user 2.4 and didn't work, it is installed,yes, but not functioning.
did you try an app need root access ?
if so, please help me out with the links for TWRP and SUPER SU, or version no.

Rooted my M8 with S-ON and bootloader unlocked.
I installed first openrecovery-twrp-2.8.0.3
Then entered recovery mode to install SuperSU (latest version)
worked fine.
Did have a WiFi issue, no sure why, but after factory reset problem was solved.
Didi have also the facebook messenger lag problem when in app sound was active.

I have just updated my grand duos to android lollipop 5.1(custom ROM). After installing supersu via CWM, it shows an error that "There is no SU binary Installed, and Supersu cannot install it!". How do i gain root access? I've gone through all the forms but I didn't find the solution to my problem. Even kingroot which used to to work all fine on Android 4.2.2, didn't work for me. Also OTG isn't working on my phone.
Please help me.

Check in ROM thread you use. Search and read, in the thread. You'll find the answer.
So, hi guys. When I was using stock rom my tablet was rooted but now when I installed this Marshmallow Rom root checker showed me that my tablet isn't rooted properly. Than I tried root my tablet with this method but problem isn't gone.. Root Checker shows that my tablet isn't rooted.. Can you help me?

The rom is rooted .. you need to enable it in SETTINGS ..
Go to Developer options. Scroll through to root and enable.

Sorry but I have to tell it - **** this ****.. But after that root method my tablet just started crashing. Browser isn't working, Settings don't wanna work sometimes. Can I fix it or I need to flash ROM again?
I would reflash it .. the rom is really stable ... i would do the wipes again .. flash the rom , gapps ..

Do I need to Wipe everything "Dalvik/ART Cache, System, Cache, Data, Internal Storage" for best results or not?
