[Q] Texts not coming through on my Asus Zen Smart watch while I am listening to music - Asus ZenWatch

I have an Asus Zen watch and love it, but I have noticed that while I am listening to my music using my Google Play app over my wireless headphones, my incoming text messages do not go to my watch. They are announced over my wireless headphones, but my watch does not vibrate, and the text messages do not come through on the watch. I thought this might be a setting, but I do not have any notifications disabled on my watch. This is not a big deal, just curious as to why this might be happening and why it only seems to happen when using the Google Play music app?
Thanks!!

Send audio through Bluetooth

Is there anything we can futz around with to send more sound through the Bluetooth headset? Notification sounds and applications like Skype and Google Talk don't send the audio through Bluetooth, which is immensely annoying.
I think it's dependent on the Bluetooth headset you are using. I had an older Motorola headset that would not play music or game audio through it. I recently purchased the Elite Flip Headset and it plays music and audio. I also get notification tones in it.
That may be, but I wasn't quite accurate when I said it wouldn't play notifications: it will play notifications through Bluetooth, but it plays them through the speaker as well.
I'm using the RF-MAB2, which isn't generally giving people problems. Worse than the notifications bug is the fact that my video chat apps won't play through Bluetooth at all. Makes them practically useless for me.

Mute apps to gear settings not working?

I have 4 apps set to NOT send notifications to Moto but they still come through. Rebooted phone and Moto but they still come through. Any suggestions?? There is an option for blocking the notifications in the android wear app but does not seem to be working.
The 4 are:
Google play music
You tube
Apollo music player
Pandora
I don't want to see them or control them as they block the image of home screen on the Moto. The only way to stop them is turning off bluetooth on the phone settings.

[Q] Audio controls appear on watch, despite all audio apps blocked on Zenwatch

Using the Android Wear app on my phone, I have blocked all of my audio-playing apps (Google Music, PowerAmp, BeyondPod, etc.) and rebooted my watch. However, when playing music, I still get popups about what is playing on my phone. How can I get rid of all popups on my watch which are related to playing audio?
UPDATE: Google says:
When you listen to music on your phone, you’ll always see the music card with options to pause and play. You can’t turn this card off.
Dear Google, that sux.

Q: how to listen music with the watch's speaker

Can anybody explain how to listen music with the watch?
In "Play Music" app on watch, select "Play on Wear"
Seems to me it only works if you download music. Doesn't seem to let you stream.
It's a paid app, but you can use "WearMedia", it lets you transfer music from your phone to your watch, then you can open the app on the watch, select the song, and it'll play through the watch speaker.
You can already do that with the built in Android applet.

Once you have music on watch pick google play music app, play on wear, speaker, play.
Am I the only person who thought it would stream music rather than download it to watch?
Using WearMedia and works very good for me so far. This watch Speaker sound continues to amaze me!
I continue to look for a way to quickly mute the watch speaker. Playing music works fine for me but how do you stop it without using the pause button?

HELP: A few issues with my Galaxy Watch

I was having issues with my Bluetooth headset not automatically activating with my watch when turned on, so unpaired an repaired it. Now, whenever I hang up on a call on my phone (not even using the watch) my watch starts playing music from the spotify app. This only happens if the spotify is set to "stream over wifi". Another fix is to quit the spotify app and turn on then off power saving mode. However if the spotify app is used again the issue comes back. It was fine until I did the Bluetooth repairing. I have uninstalled/reinstalled/ unpaired/repaired etc and this issue won't go away.
I use the running app on the phone. Shortly after I start running a graphic shows on the screen telling me to wear the watch on the outside of my wrist for the HR monitor. I am already doing this and always having to quit the notification which is annoying. It didn't do this when I first got the watch so I am wondering if an update has introduced it.
When playing music while I run (I now use music stored on the watch due to the spotify issue), sometimes it won't continue on with my playlist. It tends to stop after one song so I have to press play. I doesn't always do this. Even worse sometimes it will only play one song which I then have to keep hitting play to repeat. As I'm recording my run I can't exit the app to restart the music from the music app.
I use the voice memo app on the watch which syncs memos with the phone. For some reason when it syncs a memo it plays the notification sound on the phone about 20-30 times, so quickly some of them play over each other. It's like you've just received 20 odd messages all at once and is ridiculous.
While I like the watch overall I wish these issues could be fixed. Does anyone have any suggestions for any fixes?
