is there any chance to flash only the kernel? If that could be done, we could flash the 3.5 kernel on a Fire Phone with fire OS 3.6.2. Then use towelroot and flash back the 3.6.2 kernel. And we will have a rooted fireOS 3.6.2.
Please let me know if it is possible!

After i installed the fire kernel on my sm n750 3g running 5.1.1[stock] ive been having problems on it it randomly restarts and on every reboot it my wifi pssword gets reset please help me .I would appreciate a stock kernel for smn750 running lollipop

Hello all. I just flashed the developer ROM onto my Shield, version 7.2.1 because its the latest version available that I know of. Then it asked me to upgrade to 7.2.2 which I did. Did I lose my root by doing this? Thanks for any help you can provide.
