[Q] oppo N1 Kernal - Oppo N1

Hey guys, i just bought an Oppo N1 and i dont see any Kernals here. Im wondering if i will be able to overclock my device.
Another question, i see it only has 2-3gb of app space... will i be able to somehow partition it to allow me to have more than 2 or 3gb worth of apps? All info is greatly appreciated

[Q] - Any H/W mod for GN

Hi all, just a thought, since GN has mods for Kernel, ROM, Casing, covers .. etc has anyone encountered any hardware MOD for Samsung Galaxy Nexus ? like those you can open up the phone and simple removing some chip and replacing it with another e.g. storage from 16gb to 32gb.. internal RAM from 1gb to 3 gb .. etc like a PC..
p.s. after flashing ROMS/Kernels for a few months, thinking of trying something new
we wouldn't need to upgrade phone each year if the said things can be done easily
besides a phone is not a pc, and i'm pretty sure not everyone wanna mess their $700 device in such way
I bought a cable for USB sticks and use chainfires USB app. But sorry bud not sure you could pull out that sandisk chip and throw a bigger one in. Not yet at least

thanks all guess after seeing so many kind of MODs out there in this forum, kinda hope its possible..

No it's not possible.
Even if you did manage to open it, the chips would still be soldered to the MB.

These phones are not meant to be generally user-serviceable (and especially not user-upgradeable).
Use the phone how it is and you'll be happy. When its outdated, sell it and buy a new model that suits your needs.

Change LG G2 with G3? Help guys.

Guys I have a question for you. I have a LG G2 32 and my friend has LG G3 16gb. He wants to change the phones. He also wants my old Google Nexus aka Galaxy Nexus. I actually want G3 because it has more chance to become future updates but I know it has overheat problem. It becomes easily so hot. I'm OK with my phone but is it OK to change it and take G3. What you guys think? Is it a good deal? Is it possible to fix overheat, I know it's because of CPU but can we fix it with updates? Also will it get M update?
I need advice from you guys.

Take the g3, the overheat issue i have personally had no issues with. There are a lot of methods on the forum that can help counter the heat issue, i suggest searching for a few to read up on them. While the Android M update is not 100% confirmed, especially for all the variants of the lg g3, it most likely will happen and it is rumored that LG will skip the android 5.1 update, and work on bringing us Android M instead once released.

I would not do.
Some References Says LG Skip 5.1 And Jump To M, But Some References Says LG Update 5.1 Soon... So Confusing

Yeah do it bro, the heating issue is easily over seen because the G3 kicks so much ass
I took the G3. Thanks guys. I hope i will be happy with g3 and use it without any problem like g2.
I have had both and I really loved my G2 but my new G3 is a better device and although I could still be happy with my G2 my G3 rocks! I have both of them rooted and running cloudy rom's which is a must have for both phones in my opinion.

Same here had both g2 and now g3 both are most def worthy phones in there own ways i also only run cloudy on both and once again on both my g2 and g3 just about perfect all issues are and were outweighed by the kickassness of what u can pull off with either youll be happy

Transform 3gb ram

Hey guys. I just wanted to know if there is a way via root to make the LG G3 16GB say (in settings and cpu z) that it has 32GB and 3GB RAM?
Is this possible?

Normally your Motherboard has all these information.
So i don't think editing your build.prop will do anything at all, because it doesn't contain anything for that.
So there is not a possible way to do this.

Please tell PAR-LX1M USERS!!!

Are you working on custom rom for par-lx1m to boost ram cause we know that the real ram is 6gb and they hide 2gb and show only 4gb for marketing issues just tell us. If you do not work on it i will sell it. Really i trust you developers you can do it.
The issue is that the bootloader can't be unlocked [officialy] at the moment, therefore, none of the developers would put the effort into making such rom.
I'd recommend buying the Poco f1 if U are looking to use custom ROMs as I don't see much future for this device in that department.

Question Is it possible?

Hello I am new here, I haven't been into any kind of flashing or modding for quite some time probably since the galaxy s2 skyrocket. But what I am wondering is if there is any way to obtain the ability to get 1440p on the s21 fe.
Idk if rom tool box could do this or if it is even still a thing.. Could an s21 ultra rom be flashed to it? Or is there a custom rom? The display should be able to handle it its still a dynamic amoled 2x I believe. Any help is appreciated.
No
Well thank you lol I appreciate it.
