[5.0.2][ROM][12. Feb][UNOFFICIAL][D802] LiquidSmooth - G2 Android Development (D802)

LiquidSmooth
This ROM is NOT my work. It was compiled DIRECTLY from LiquidSmooth source by myself, without cherrypicks or other additions. I just want so share this for the people who wants to stay up to date until official LiquidSmooth is out of beta/alpha.
Why I am doing this? Because the developers of LiquidSmooth ROM have not enough time to constantly update the ROMs for all devices
ROM Info:
LiquidSmooth is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP and SlimROM.
Dedicated to providing users with smooth, stable and fast ROMs. A Lightweight modified AOSP and SlimROM base, and then add the features you crave! While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
notice: Development stopped, because LiquidSmooth official is now out of alpha

How stable is this actually?
₪LG G2₪

Good job man. I've already flash this with PA Gapps via TWRP 2.8.0.1 and everything's ok. Booting and have no Fc. So smooth. I don't know about how Lollipop 5.0.1 better than 5.0.0 but I tried PA 5.0 Alpha and I can say this is the best Lollipop rom I've installed. Just some minutes, I haven't tested many things but I feel it is very stable. Thank you again OP, hoping you will keep it up for D802 :thumbup::thumbup:

Very interesting
Waiting more reviews and potential bugs...

Very stable
I found no bugs at the moment. I'm testing battery drain today. On the first boot I had sometimes no connection to the camera, but after reboot everything went fine. Thank you for your work. :good:

Can I use kk boot loader to install this rom?

No, JB bootloader.
For the OP, thx for share this build, work well like the other Lollipop builds, with more customization..Also flash Render R4 without prob.

For now no errors here :good:

rom is super fast, but still showing only 2 network bars... so annoying

Everything work and look great here :good:
All is material except youtube application ...
New youtube app with material look can be downloaded from here :

I will continue sharing my builds with you until official LiquidSmooth is out of Alpha and Beta state

please let us know about battery life when you guys complete a few cycles

Muy statusbar buttons dissapeared. Only back button is available.

Works good for daily usage , not much battery drain. Best one between the ones i ve tried.
I suggest not to use Google Now , because of the location reporting. It eats battery much faster than anything.
I followed :
Full wipe , dalvik and cache.
Flashed rom,
Flashed Gapps,
Flashed updated SuperSU
with lastest TWRP.
Thanks for sharing by the way.

Camera is really bad, quickremote doesn't working !
Battery life for now good ...

Tested and it Boots. Only a few problems so far...
1. Camera doesn't work (Camera Error Cannot connect to camera)
2. On boot the lock screen has Sim card locked off centre too far left.
3. First boot the handset runs quite hot although after cools down.
The ROM is compatible with Unofficial PA Gapps 5.1.X & Unofficial Xposed 5.1.
The ROM will not use any other cameras. Have tried SnapChat, Facebook, Google Camera & Instagram.
Hope this helps.

It's not stuck at the lock screen, the text isn't centred on the screen. Just the Sim Card Locked text.
Ill try the Camera above.
I'll try to wipe Dalvik/Cache to fix the Camera but in my experience lollipop bootloops after.
Wiping just the Cache fixed the Camera issue.
The following image is the Sim Lock alignment issue.

Pretty good ROM already, considering it is a beta :good:
64 bit: there is a /system/lib64 folder
- Not lagging
- GPS fix not included (yet)
- OpenCamera: Flash doesn't seem to be in synch with exposure
With the bugs we already know don't have a solution, this rom is in very good shape! Crdroid starting in Oreo with style!

For sure, always
However, nothing significant so far.
All major functionality is there (calls, data, wifi, gps, video, audio; camera works, flash synched in Cameringo,
AnTuTu score quite good; ROM is pre-rooted, ...)
Open your own XDA thread maybe?
In particular since your ROM seems to be 'official', in crDroid terms ...
(unless you are @Rkschunk ...)

That's true, initially it 'felt' a bit laggy. I forgot to mention.
However, this is not easy to quantify, and right now it is not a problem for me.

I have SM-J710F, and this ROM worked good.
I hold Power+VolumeDown after flashing, and booting norm.
I found 3 bugs on SM-J710FN:
1. When all animations in Developer settings turned off and I tried turn off the screen with power button, screen doesn't turn off, it just making not so bright. It's happening not every time, just with some chance.
2. Internet from SIM works not so good. I always have E instead of 4G or LTE. When I was on other ROM with Android 8 it worked good. Any ideas to fix it?
3. Oxygen kernel do not apply settings on boot via Oxygen control v2.0.0
Another bug: User switch works not good. Not all crDroid's and Android's settings come back after switching from Guest to Owner. Also android crashed on switching them the first time.

ROM is solid, I don't see any issues till now. It connected to my car through Android auto. Working flawlessly. Able to use maps waze, and was able to listen music without any issue for 45 minutes drive.
Didn't try google pay yet.
For me its no doubt daily driver
debating whether to use as daily driver currently on Havoc....
