hi all,
yesterday my arc s suddenly stopped working and when i tried to turned it on it did not boot up (it just gives me the xperia screen).
i tried to charge the battery and remove it then plug it again but it still not working.
my phone was rooted and i was working with the Viper xperia rom for about 1 year.
now i don't know what to do . i've searched alot to know how to fix it but i got lost, cause i'm really noob in this field.
so please help and make your answer as simple as it could be.

hello! about two weeks ago i booted my xperia play r800i on 2.3.3 with this method:

today i tried to access a superuser app. my xperia freezed like a screenshot.
when i try to boot it it shows me the SE logo for about 3 minutes then goes to a static-ish picture. i cant access the os. ive tried everything (removing sd or sim). also when it is plugged into the outlet (charging) its stuck on the SE logo
i cant boot it D: D;
is is bricked?! and if not is there anything i can do to fix this?!
please answer!

Try a repair update using SE update service or use flashtool.

i should consider that i AM bricked , or is there SOMETHING else i could try?

Have you tried wotanserver.com
Otherwise, my guess is it might be a hardware issue, not a software one (because flashtool/update service/wotan server return your phone to stock. meaning if something was f*ed up, it should be fixed...)
Just use the Sues tool (aka. sony's flashing tool) and have it flash the latest update. If that doesn't work just tell your carrier that it did this after you installed and OTA update and maybe they'll give you a new one.

Last Evening I tried the SE update service . right away it didnt work , so i posted , that my phone is still bricked. Today at school about 12 hours after i used the SE update service and the phone was "dead" it FINALLY booted to the os! Yay! im no longer bricked!

So........ the issue has continiued , after two weeks of perfect performance.
well....i guess the screen is to blame here , because when i touch it in places , that i know a button exists i can feel the vibration!
Ive been playing paintball and running around with the phone in my pocket , so i guess ill have to start saving money for a screen repair
So root wasn't here to blame.
Hello xda community, im new here and if my post is allready somewhere im sorry for making another one.
I can get my hands on Xperia ZL for fairly cheap price. I only need to fix the problem it has.
User said that after he updated his xperia ZL (android 4.3). His phone wouldn't turn on if his batery died. After that he did factory reset and after factory reset when he presses the power on button only red LED light starts blinking. Is phone dead or is there any way to fix it? I tried to google some things and i might have an idea...
I'll try to connect it to computer and install android 4.4 ftf file on it. (im not sure if this will work)
anyone else has any idea how to fix this problem?

so I flashed the PureSlim KitKat 4.4.2 from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2606528 and now my phone won't start up. It seems pretty much dead. It vibrates though but I get no activity on the display.

Your phone has unlocked bootloader? If they are looked your phone is dead after installing a new ROM. (sometimes)

You can see on my post title, my device just brick (bootloop) suddenly when I used it. Oke I think my phone just need to flash. First condition (when bootloop) when I charge it and battery indicator will show up. Oke then I flash it, BUT when I flash it always failed in "proccesing fota-reset.ta", I was used newest flashtool. Then I try to charge my phone, BUT now battery indicator not show up. After a few minute battery indicator show up, it take a long time then usually.
Any suggestions?

I tried downgrading the G3221 to Nougat as the Oreo update was slow as ****...
I used flashtool and then it came up with an error, I unplugged my device and tried restarting it like it said and BAM!
It didn't boot.
It doesn't boot into fastboot and flashmode either.
Can someone help me please? It's urgent, my mum's quite angry and I can't buy a new phone, plus this was a birthday present and the first decent phone I ever got.

P.S. the charging LED still shows when plugged in so I guess there is some form of life in this?
check my threat under urs, same problem. u cant fix it urself and its not green charcing led.
