Review of Otterbox Alpha Glass tempered glass screen protector for Note 4 w/pics!!! - General Accessories

This is a review of Otterbox Alpha Glass tempered glass screen protector for Galaxy Note 4. http://www.otterbox.com/Alpha-Glass...xy-Note-4/sam38-galaxy-note-4,default,pd.html , and on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/OtterBox-Clearly-Protected-Protector-Samsung/dp/B00OY7QZKO/ , though currently out of stock.
Before I start my review, let me answer the obvious question on a tip of every Note 4 user tong - yes, there is halo effect Unfortunately, Galaxy Note 4 was cursed with a curved edge screen, and now we are stuck with not being able to have any tempered glass screen protector that sticks to the edges of the display. I already tested about half a dozen of brand name and no brand tempered glass protectors, and they all have an issue of not being able to stick to the edges even of the visible portion of the display. So why have I decided to review Alpha Glass anyway? In my opinion it offers a few bonuses that make it stand out from other glass protectors. Here is what I found.
Arrived in a slim box, it's definitely has a nice presentation typical for most of the Otterbox products. Though it says made for Otterbox cases, you have to realize this is a universal screen protector that's going to work with every case. Due to Note 4 handicap of curved screen, everybody trims down their screen protectors for N4 to cover only the visible portion of the display, thus you going to have plenty of margin to work with any protective case. Also, though having a typical 9H hardness rating, it's a thin glass that should work even with Defender case and its built-in screen protector. And just like with any other tempered glass protectors, you have anti-shatter and scratch protection, transparent touch screen sensitivity, and ultra clarity.
Included with a screen protector are a cleaning alcohol wipe, cleaning cloth, and a set of instructions. I'm sure a lot of you have experience with screen protector installation, but just as a reminder - make sure to work in a well lit area, dust free surface, wash your hands with soap before application, wipe your display with alcohol pad and let it dry for a second, and don't hover over with your t-shirt during installation (keep in mind that your cloth has plenty of dust specks).
One thing that made Alpha Glass install stand out from everything else was a yellow tint protective film on top of it. Typically screen protectors come with two protective film covers where you remove one from a "sticky" side first to apply to the screen, and then remove the outer one after the installation. Otterbox used a yellow color film on the later one which makes it VERY HELPFUL in alignment of the glass during installation. This is important because glass is pre-cut to cover only the visible part of the display and if you are OCD about your installation like I am - this will guide you in a perfect alignment.
Installation was a breeze and literally took me a few seconds. Of course, right away I noticed a halo effect around the edges. As a matter of fact, it's very noticeable and even wider than in some other screen protectors. But at the same time, I found Otterbox Alpha Glass to feel smoother to the touch and glide than any other protectors I looked at in the past. Also, I felt like colors on the screen were more vibrant with this glass protector, definitely very high level of clarity and transparency. Furthermore, all the cutouts were perfect and the edges were rounded and smooth.
Overall, unfortunately I haven't come across a perfect glass protector for Note 4 and most likely never will (just being realistic when it comes to Note 4, but would like to be proven wrong). The only way to have a perfect fitment is to have a flat screen and a flat glass on top of it. But since we don't have this luxury, you just have to go through different available options to see which one will suite you better. One definite advantage of Alpha Glass is an assisted installation with its colored protective film, a very smooth touch surface, and a bar none tech support and warranty where Otterbox always stands behind their product.
Here are the pictures.

After install.

That looks entirely acceptable to me. I'd buy that one in a minute.

Another fine review. Guess I'll hold off on the Alpha glass until I try my revised Zagg's that are on the way. Alpha's halos look pretty substantial.

Definitely gonna give this a try when they have it in stock. I'm one of the lucky ones that has a Note 4 that doesn't have much of a curve or it starts a lil later. I'm using a supershields right now and its good except that the they cut the bottom so short that it just barely covers the multitask and back buttons.

Just curious is the screen in the bottom picture your home screen? Is it some kind of quick glance?

So, was this better then the Mime Ghost Glass?

I have the Zagg glass. Perfectly clear with a good fit. I like it.

I believe the Verizon Note 4 has the worst curve of all the carriers, starts inside of the actual display area.
This Alpha glass might be perfect on the AT&T version.
I have Verizon

Seriously? Are ALL these companies run my idiots?
You would think that these companies would do at-least SOME research, but no.
They just buy in bulk from Asia from the handful of companies all making the same non fitting glass panel.

Mime ghost has lesser halo effect, but not as smooth. Also, I noticed I was making more typing mistakes with ghost which I believe has worse touch sensitivity.

Might just have to say F it and order one up.

With the amount of times people bought glass screen protectors, they could have already paid the deductibles of their insurance

I haven't received my Alpha glass yet. I really do think the alignment matters. Otterbox claims their Alpha Glass covers mainly the screen area. Therefore, there should hardly be any halo.
The Zagg GLASS also has to be precised placed to avoid possible halo.
The Otterbox Alpha is compatible with the Otterbox Defender Series case. It should take minimal effort to snap in the clips on all four sides of the inner shell of the case. I couldn't get one of the clips to snap in place with the Zagg Tempered GLASS.

Well, I ordered over $100 dollars of Glass protectors. However, I'm returning one piece to Zagg for a refund, and possibly going to sell a couple of other pieces to friends and family. That would make it $0 dollars.
I'll probably keep the Alpha Glass as my only Glass screen protector, in-spite of the halo others are reporting. I'll also keep my HDX from Zagg. For backup, I have '7' PET Xtreme_Guard Screen Protectors for the Note 4 (Good Quality, $3), 6x SuperShieldz for the Note 4 ($5).

It's cause of all the users reporting different results with same color, carrier, and screen protectors. The screen curvature appears to be inconsistent. I am #4 now.

Best CLEAR screen protector ???

I need a really good clear screen protector that isn't crap. Something that will last and I don't mind spending $20+ on it. Any suggestions?
I got the XO skin case fit. It's cut more around the edge so you can use a case with it and not have to worry about it peeling the skin. It's awesome so far. It doesn't have the orange peel effect like invisible shield which I used on my Incredible and Blackberrys back in the day. Gave the XO skin a try a just to see and it worked out great. If you use SPRINTXO as the promo code you get a discount. I did, but that was about a month ago. Could still work though. With the code it's like 14 bucks I think.
Thanks, I'll give it a try, but before I do I'd like to see what other people suggest, thanks for your suggestion though!

+1 for XO Skins. I use the regular one and it works with a case, it all depends on the case that you use. Even the regular goes from edge to edge except for the bottom, it leaves a small gap of uncovered space
Even though XO skins is really good, you might dislike the rubbery feeling of the screen protector. So far most screen protectors are either too short, has orange peels, thin, oil conductor, or rubbery. I don't think there is a dry application matte protector that covers the entire screen (will have somewhat of the edge peel effect, but cases like diztronics or otterbox should lip over it). I've ordered baselant couple days ago, and I'll see how that goes, and I've heard good things about martin fields, but they're really expensive.
The screen protector that comes with the otterbox commuter is clear and smooth for operation. No discoloration or orange peel effect like I had with the I shield on it. a good option if you don't already have a descent case.

Awesome, I just ordered that case last week lol. It's coming in the 2nd so I will see it then, does it cover the whole front or JUST the screen?
+1 For XO Skins as well. Mine fits great, has no orange peel. Here is their video if you missed it. It fills in scratches and hides smudges really well.
I am using SGP Ultra oleophobic dry protector and Diztronic v3 case and have been real happy with the setup.
I had used the Verizon clear dry protector and it's hard to wipe off oil and smudges.

Sadly, this is pretty much the state of the GNex screen protectors now. You really gotta ask yourself what you like to have and what you hate.
Dry (clear/matte) - large margin around the screen
Wet - slight rubbery
I went with wet (XO skin) because I don't use swype, so the slightly rubbery texture doesn't bother me at all but having a visible border of the dry protector does. And there's no orange peel effect like Zagg.
Just ordered some boxwave cleartouch screenprotectors yesterday. Will report back when they get here.
I have always use Zagg invisible shields for every phone and tablet I have had no no issues at all. The only phone it didn't look good on was the nexus one. I just went to Best Buy and got one for the Galaxy Nexus and applied it perfect. I hope that the one sold at BB is supposed to fit the GSM model. I didn't have any issues except a very small amount at the top but not sure if that's normal because I think they are the same size.
I recommend Martin fields. It's a dry screen protector, edge to edge, and clear.I got it for $15.99 + free shipping from expansys.

Agreed. I've just took mine off and washed it under the cold tap (had dust under the screen but only just decided to remove it after 2 months or so) and it stuck back down with no trouble at all.

I had a zagg and it was okay but took a hit and luckily saved the screen which is what it is there for. I had to replace it because of the gash it suffered but the screen was fine. I had already ordered a ghost armor screen kit and decided to try it instead while waiting for my zagg replacement. Needless to say the zagg is still unopened in the box. The ghost armor has less orange peel and I also like the way the cutouts were done. The zagg looks cheap and sloppy around the speaker and camera and leaves the glass exposed. It is also prone to peeling in that area. The ghost armor does scratch more than the zagg because I think the zagg is softer. So that is the trade-off for less orange peel. The zagg does seem to heal itself a tad better but its not enough for me to put it back on.

Thanks for the photos.
And I think we could more or less reach the conclusion that if anyone wants full screen coverage for GNex, he/she has to go for the wet protectors because of the curved screen.

When I said no full coverage, I mean the visible margin around the phone because the screen protector is cut smaller than the screen. Thanks for sharing though. Its cutting is better than SGP already judging by the photos.

Caseology Tempered Glass

Has anyone ordered one of these? I just did, ill review it when it comes in.
UPDATE: I got the "glass" screen protector in the mail today. Its just a flimsy cheap-o screen protector. Its nice in that it works, but skip this. I did make a video on the cool glazing/oleophobic coating google added to the screen. http://youtu.be/afEWMOpZcfk
Thanks! Just ordered one. The glass screen protector I have for my N4 cost me like $30 so this is a nice find. I love the protection without loosing that glass feeling while using the phone.

It's in an image. Scroll down further, it's under "7 Layer Protection"
If I had to guess, I'd say this isn't glass like the more expensive Spigen ones. It shows as having 7 layers and it looks like only the PET kind of screen protectors are multi layers.

Yup, it's not real glass.

I purchased this screen for my S4 and my sis's iPhone 5c. I thought the products were glass because they are rated at 6h, but they are PET plastic. What upset me most is that the s4 screen came as a different branded package (pictures included). That said, both screens attached fairly easily, no bubbles and no rainbows. They are cut to the exact size of the screen so there is barely any room for error. Added a spigen slim armor to my s4 and the screen fits perfectly with my case. No bubbles, unlike adding my sister's iPhone case. The feel of the screen is good, not quite as smooth as the original glass screen, but much better than the other cheap plastic screens on Amazon. The top screen cutout shows all the sensors and led. I'm happy with the purchase so far,I only wish they were more clear about the material and the packaging.

to be fair, the product in the link you provided doesn't mention anything about "tempered glass" in the description like the one in the OP. it also details only a 4-layer screen protector, unlike the 7 advertised in the OP.
but i also can't say for sure it's real glass either. dafuq is "tempered glass film?" and i also don't see a cutout for the earpiece speaker at the top. it's probably an error in the render, but you never know. these were on sale before any customers even received their phones.

You are (were?) correct when you say that the item from my link did not say tempered glass yesterday but I just checked again and it does mention it now. It looks like they updated their images and it also shows that is it 7 layers, just like the item OP linked.
I was hoping this would actually be glass at such a cheap price. I would have picked one up too.

It looks like the same question was asked and they replied. But what the hell is tempered glass film? It's either tempered glass or it's a film (PET).
Q: Can you please confirm if this is made of real glass or plastic? I see references to both "tempered glass" AND PET film.
A:This product is made of Temper glass film with 7 layered technology. This is the new technology for temper glass in the marker, which protects your screen from shattering. If you have any further inquires, please email us back at our customer service email. Thank you.

It's simple - "You've got a screen made out of tempered glass? We've got a film to cover it." Don't know why that isn't obvious from the product's name.

If you're not going to be using a case, be sure to get the 'R' model with the rounded edges; the normal one, with squared edges and without a case protecting those edges, is far more susceptible to chipping.
I'll never go back to a film protector again. Tempered glass is more expensive, true, but it lasts far longer (it will be pristine after several film SP's have degraded due to normal wear and tear), is as invisible as possible, has greater clarity, allows more light through, has no rainbow issues, orange peel effect, stretching.... and it feels exactly like the original screen.

it was actually me who posted that question. and i agree - it's either glass or PET, not both. perhaps something isn't being translated correctly?

What's up with the ridiculous pre-applied screen protector?

I thought that I could get used to it, but my fingers get caught up on it ever time I swipe, and the two lines on the screen it creates are obnoxious.
Was OnePlus being cheap here, did they make a mistake, or is a proper screen protector just not feasible because of the increasing curve on the edges of the screen?
I don't want to get ripped or end up in a worse situation by buying their tempered glass or third party protectors of they are thicker and have the same dimensions...

They intended the screen protector to be there just so people have one on their phone. They weren't trying to prevent you from enjoying it obviously. It is for protection. From what I heard, people love the screen protector. Granted it may not be perfect but they did try. I have a protector for my One and the protector is a bit small for the screen but that's because of the way the phone was built. I'm assuming its the same way for the 3. Filling out the screen to the edges with a screen protector just warrants more cracks when you look at it from an angle. Just because it is a little lacking doesn't mean it won't protect your phone.

Screen protectors on a phone with 2.5D glass is pretty difficult to do well. Even the plastic/film protectors will lift at the edges..

Filling out the screen to the edges with a screen protector just warrants more cracks when you look at it from an angle. Just because it is a little lacking doesn't mean it won't protect your phone.

Not sure what you mean by how the OnePlus One was built, I have a screen protector on mine and it covers the screen and bezels comfortably, it's never been an issue.
On my OnePlus 3 there are two black lines within the screen because the protector is so narrow and now those lines are also accumulating debris. No need to be so blindly loyal to a smartphone company. I love the phone, but I just wanted to know if all screen protectors on the market for the OnePlus 3 will be this narrow or if OnePlus just ****ed this up.

Can you just peel off the screen protector? I did that with my Op2.

The OP3 has a 2.5D screen (Like the Nexus 6 does) and having a protector go from edge to edge without having massive airbubbles around the edges is extremely hard. Lookup the "halo" on Nexus 6 and you'll see why they didn't
That's not a screen protector. It's just packing. You are supposed to peel it off and toss it immediately you open the box.

The screen protector is thin and unobtrusive. I hardly notice it's there, except when I go to write the screen with my shirt and feel grateful I don't have to worry about scratching it. I don't find the barely noticeable lines near the screen edges annoying; certainly, scratches on my new phone's screen would bother me much more.

I agree the screen protector is not anything you want to keep, but admit it is nice that it is there at least. When I got my Oneplus One within the first week I put the tiniest of a little scratch on my screen from my keys in my pocket. No one else sees it but I know it is there. All that because I was waiting on my tempered glass screen protector. So, until I figure out which brand of tgsp I want to put on this thing I am glad it is there...but yeah my fingers are not smooth on this thing.

Agree with you on ateast the effort from OP. However I am not very convinced about its usage. Shouldn't gorilla glass 4 protect itself from minor crap like scratches?
On tempered glasses, reading a lot about Nillkin H+ Pro. You can check it out.

Yeah I have been reading about those too and contacted them. They actually have the "Frosted " case for the 3 too just not on the site. Suppose to order the 2 and leave in the notes you want the 3. Lot of people here at xda seem to like that case too. I personally have not used them yet. I have a PTHINK tgsp on my One and LOVE IT! It feels better than the factory glass. Already contacted them and they have not started making them for the 3 yet.

I had the same issue on my moto x gen2. Was worse when I used tempered glass. The curve on the edges of the screen make this difficult. With this being gorilla 4 glass I'll remove my protector on op3 once I get my dbrands skins on.

Couldn't agree more! Now I'm just a redneck who wears bibs all the time so I need something to protect the screen from the buttons on my bibs. I tried at least 2 times to appy tempered glass to my 1+ (who the hell came up with those stupid tabs?) only to FAIL. I found a simple solution- buy a flip cover. Now it takes a little getting used to, but it works very well. The only issue I had was on the rare occasion that I needed to put it my pocket, I made sure that I didn't have anything eles in there with it. But after 2+ years of going commando with my 1+, I can say that screen protectors are a waste of money!
Just found this on Amazon. Tempered glass Supposed to work well with the round edges.

better than nothing, right?

recommended tempered glass for the s8plus?

Guess no one has the s8+ to try yet but with previous models with curved glass, what glass screen protector did you find that worked best? That had the best fitament?
I ended up cracking my screen on my note 7, I had the IQ shield on, it held the crack in place but didn't prevent the crack from happening when the phone fell out of my pocket.
This time around I want a glass screen protector that would take the crack in place of the actual screen.
Suggestions?
No curved screen protectors stick the right way. They only have glue on the outside edges.
Yeah after watching the drop tests, I am very concerned about the curved screens. Might actually take the Samsung warranty at least for a year.
I've given up on screen protectors and just go with a minimal case, worked great for me and have dropped it plenty of times

Honestly, me too. I never drop my device though. Works so much better with a naked screen too. Screen protectors produce a slight lag.
loads already available on ebay and amazon... maybe it's improved over the s7 edge... haven't had any offers yet for free testing... i wouldn't mind trying some glass for free for a review
There has yet to be a curved screen protector for any device that worked reliably on more then a few individuals phones. It's been this way for years, and just because we have the S8 coming... well that has not changed. They will all still suck for the most part. You might get lucky with one, but most as in the past, never will.

Yea I agree, most curved glass protectors suck. They don't have full adhesive through out, usually just the edges. Which causes lag or loss of sensitivity from the air gap. With the curved edges, its hard to completely squeeze out the bubbles and they get trapped, with the glass protectors. Easier to do when everything is flat.
Someone needs to invent one that is thick as glass but applies like the film ones then hardens like the tempered.
I look at it this way. Yes, most do not stick on completely. I'd take a few bubbles over a cracked screen. on my Note 7 i used one that just covered the flat part and didn't cover the edge, looked like ****, but made me feel a little better in case of a drop. Hopefully the companies make better ones.

i've been using screen protector on my old HTC evo and yes there is a lag
but
since my Note 2 and then Note 3 i have been using tempered glass and i have not notice any lag in fact its smoother than the bare screen whether using your fingers or the s pen.
can't say on the S series as this will be my first one

Biggest problem is, that most cases will push the tempered glass off again, i have seen this problem on a S7 edge, sekund time whit no case for weeks, there was no problem.
Is there glue or adhesive on the edges or the whole protector?

Edge only. Every glass protector for the s6 and s7 edge were all edge only. And ( wait for it. )..... they all sucked. Either had the rainbow effect, clicking sounds, and it would limit the screen's responsiveness in spots. Because they don't fit right, crap comes in under ever single hole and edge on it. There never has been one that covered the edges that worked. Just l like the last 2 iterations of the phone, if you must have glass, wait for the vendors to figure out it doesn't work .. again.. and then make one that only covers the flat parts of the screen and looks like crap.. but it works.
Even GPEL decided to make case freindly screen protectors:
https://www.gpelstore.com/collections/galaxy-s8-screen-protector-tempered-glass-collection
As all we won't know if they work or not until someone tries it.
Was able to use a case friendly case to work well with UAG case but that's after 3 or 4 TGSP. But as many not exactly perfect and one strand of particle got through. It's on a position that doesn't bother but you still know its there.

A case with a lip large enough on the top and bottom to protect the screen from hitting if it were to fall flat. I can't stand the wet apply ones, and the normal plastic ones are not much better. It's been in my pocket etc and I have no scratches at all. It's not ideal, but there were no other options. I do wish there was.

[REVIEW] UltimateShield Tempered Glass Screen Protector OP7 Pro

This will be a short review which hopefully helps OP7 Pro owners wether they should buy the tempered glass protector from Ultimate Shield or not. Please take your time and read the whole review
PRODUCT PAGE
https://www.ultimateshield.co.uk/products/oneplus-7-pro-tempered-glass-screen-protector
This might be the time to add that Ultimate Shield did not tell me to write this, I bought the screen protector because I have used their OP5 tempered glass in the past and was satisfied with that one. In case the pictures don't show on your screen, I've attached them in a zip file down below.
What do you get?
For £11.99 (~14€ / ~15$) and free worldwide you get one screen protector, instructions, dust removal stickers (which I forgot when taking the picture), a microfiber cloth and a wet cloth.
I bought it because I wanted a tempered glass screen protector which is curved so I can protect the whole display including the curved edges.

What about applying it?
The instructions are basically useless, since we're dealing with a screen protector which sticks to the phone with the adhesive side, so no bubbles, no "vacuum" or anything like that, as long as the display has been cleaned before nothing can go wrong, just make sure that the side slim black bar is alined with the top of the phone. Oh and you should remove the preapplied screen protector before putting this one on the display. After that it is important to apply preassure on the border of the screen protector to make it stick, and this is where things get critical, at least that is what happened to me. Even though it looks like I've prefectly placed the glass on top of the display some parts of the protector simply won't stick, or at least stick for a few minutes. I have added some photos where you can see a tiny gap. Keep in mind that I have applied A LOT of pressure on those parts, more than enough. The screen protector has rounded corners and a curved edge, it covers about 99 percent of the display.
What about colours and sharpness of the display with the screen protector?
After applying the screen protector I haven't noticed any kind of weird colour shifting or rainbow effect. It still looks as sharp as before, but due to reflections the edge of the display has some minor rainbow effect. I only notice that at a specific angle and when the background is white. Oh and it doesn't seem to cut off any part of the screen.
What about the fingerprint reader?
After deleting the old fingerprints and adding new ones with the screen protector applied the fingerprint scanner works 99/100 times, it might take a split second longer than without it, but I didn't have any issues.
What about the touchscreen and gestures?
This is where I got frustrated. After using the phone with the tempered glass I instantly noticed that the touchscreen wasn't as responsive as it was before. "alright", I said to myself, "It is completely normal that it feels different now". Unfortunately this is why I would personally not buy this screen protector again. I had to apply more pressure than ususal when tapping on an icon and so on. Sometimes the touchscreen didn't register even though my finger clearly touched the glass. This was very annoying when using the keyboard, in almost every sentence at least one or two characters where simply missing because the touchscreen wasn't as responsive as before. Same story with gestures, you need a lot more pressure and when swping up or down in order to open the app drawer or notifications it sometimes works but sometimes it takes up to three tries in order to get the gesture to work. In comparison, without the tempered glass screen protector I had no issues at all.
SUMMERY
Applying it was easy but when I did it it didin't stick as good as I hoped it would. The tempered glass screen protector doesn't really change colours, which is a good thing. THe touchscreen experience was comparable with one of those older smartphones where you had to use more force and it wasn't as accurate. Overall, I can not recommend it for the price, unless you use the touchscreen with a lot of force. If you think that I didn't apply it correctly feel free to "call me out" in the comment section and tell me how you would have done it.
UPDATE
Since the tempered glass didn't stick very well anyway I went ahead and carefully removed it and moved it about 1mm downward. Unfortunately the touchscreen is still not responsive enough to use the keyboard without any issues which is why I contacted Ultimate Shield directly via Email. (still waiting for them to reply)
FINAL UPDATE
They answered and after looking at the images I send them they said that it might be faulty because according to them the black adhesive should stick much better than it did in my case. They were kind enough to give me a refund! If you bought one and had a much better experience please tag me so I can quote your opinion!
Probably cus it's not full adhesive. We need to wait for Whitestone or something like that

Well the flap of the protective foil that was on the the glass was probably the indicator.
That and the fact that the bottom part of teh black frame was way wider than the upper part...
About 2mm of black adhesive on the buttom and 1mm on the top...
EDIT:
It wouldn't make sense to aline the the thicker black line with the thin bezel
I've sent UltimateShield an email concerning this issue.
I've ordered same protector for delivery tomorrow, getting the phone today so I'll give it a go, how is it with cases or have you not checked? I've ordered the Ringke Fusion-X too so would hope they'll work together.
Watched this video of the PureGear protector, from XDA fave TK Bay, which looks mucho pricey but seems to play nicely with, at least, official cases.

the glass doen't fully the cover the display, there's about 1 to 1.5mm between the tempered glass and the frame of the phone, I can use the transparent TPU case that came with the phone without any problems
Thank you for your review. I currently have a film on my screen now. I was thinking about purchasing a tempered glass shield for my 7 pro especially since T-Mobile has the Puregear one on sale for 10 bucks off (if I'm not mistaking) but I'm not sure.
I actually ordered the same tempered glass, but I noticed that it wasnt clear and that the black outline on the edges was the adhesive. It doesn't truly embrace the curved screen, but you can use it for the back of your phone. I glued to the back of my 7 Pro with the clear case on. Your phone will look like a beast

interesting approach xD
I'm waiting for this to show up: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RP5KJXV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Seems like a Whitestone clone. Hoping it's decent.
Got one too. Install was super easy but like said in OP, sensitivity gets way worse. I would not recommend.
Do you know if the product is in stock?
Looks like the OP product was replaced by a newer full adhesive version:
https://www.ultimateshield.co.uk/co...us-7-pro-7t-pro-liquid-glass-screen-protector
The screen of my 7Pro looks like new. I never used a screen protector. Just the sandstone hardcase for the back.
