[Q] how can i get 900 and 1800 mhz for 4g on my tmobile note 3 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hello guys im new to this site and really need your help. Today i got my 4g sim and that telecom company supports 900 and 1800 mhz for 4g lte connectivity. And im stuck with this t mobile note 3 which doesnot have these mhz supported. Is there anyway to get 900 and 1800 mhz on my note 3?

1800 MHz should work: http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-3-tmobile/help/enable-ca-t2957062

T-mobile Samsung Note 2 support 3G 2100 MHz?

I am going back to Thailand next year. I will get this Galaxy note 2 unlock and take it with me.
However, in my country has 3G on 2100 MHz with 3 main carries as follow.
3G
Carries name Band
AIS 1950 MHz - 1965 MHz and 2140 MHz - 2155 MHz
TRUE 1935 MHz - 1950 MHz and 2125 MHz - 2140 MHz
DTAC 1920 MHz - 1935 MHz and 2110 MHz - 2135 MHz
I was trying to understand what it says on box of Tmobile Note 2.
GSM Quad-band: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz UMTS: Band I ,band II, Band IV (Dual-band1700/2100 MHz), Band V
I don't get it much and I am not 100% sure that the phone does support 3G in my country.
Please some experts in here could help me confirm this. Would you please answer this for me? I appreciate every reply and thank you for your time.

I think you should be good to go... The International variant has fewer bands then we do on our T-mobile device so I wouldn't expect that you would have any troubles...:fingers-crossed:
A quick search reveals the following frequency bands in use in Thailand:
•AIS:
GSM 900, GSM 1800, UMTS 900 [VIII]
•TOT3G:
GSM1900, UMTS 2100
•DTAC:
GSM 1800, UMTS 850 [V]
•TrueMove:
GSM 1800, UMTS 850 [V]
The T-mobile Galaxy Note 2 supports the following frequency bands:
HSDPA: 850 [V], 1700/2100 [IV], 1900 [II], 2100
GSM: 850, 900, 1800, 1900
Judging by this, it seems like your best bet is TOT3G, DTAC, and TrueMove for UMTS functionality. All three of these have frequency bands supported by the Galaxy Note 2.

That's old information. These frequencies were used temporary.
They just auctioned the frequencies for 3G in Thailand. The auction is approved by Thai government. I have described the range of frequencies at the first post. But I am not sure it is in 2100 MHz. Any idea?
Thank you for reply.

[Q] Is it possible to turn E980 into E988 or E986?

Hi Guys
My question is related to the LTE frequency they use I have an E980 and I am now in Qatar, the model they have here is E988 which is "LTE 1800 / 2600 - E988" however my E980 "LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100” and I am experiencing very slow 4G connection, is it because of the bandwidth or it might be something else.
Thanks in advace

Naah Bro!!
The frequency bands are related to your hardware!
E980 n E988(mine) have different freq bands due to different modems
All: GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
E985: HSDPA 900 / 2100
E986: HSDPA 900 / 2100
E986: LTE 800 / 1800 / 2600
E988: HSDPA 850 / 900 / 2100
E988: LTE 1800 / 2600
ATnT: HSDPA 850 / 1900 / 2100
ATnT: LTE 700 MHz Class 17 / 1700 / 2100

problems with signal all the time switch to EDGE

I live in Dominican Republic and I am a service provider that has the bands
**
CDMA 1900 Mhz
GSM / EDGE 850 MHz / 1900 MHz
3G 850 MHz
4G 1700 Mhz / 2100 Mhz (Band 4 AWS)
I supposed that my samsung note 3 operate well because of those bands but always gets constantly or EDGE.
could someone help me.
