Stock Android recovery overwrites custom recovery
I have tried three times to install the philz_touch_6.07.9-d2tmo.tar.md5 custom recovery to my Galaxy S3 T999 and when I check after Odin says that the install has passed I still have the stock recovery screen. I also tried turning off auto reboot and turning the phone off by doing a battery pull. I checked the IMEI number and it comes up as unblocked, so I'm assuming that means my phone is unlocked. Any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if more information is needed.

Just chiming in with my $0.02 to say THANKS! I've used CWM and TWRP, but they leave me hungry. Philz with Aroma, que sabor!!!!! I think the most beautiful part about this whole recovery is the complete file manager that lets me see file sizes and permissions as well as manipulate the files. Damn the torpedoes, full Philz ahead.

CivZ-Touch 6.0.4.4 shows wrong phone model number,denied to install roms.
Hi All,
I downloaded CivZ-Touch 6.0.4.4 for my GT-N5100 and successfully installed it on my Samsung Galaxy Not 8.0 GT-N5100.
After that,I tried to installed CyanogenMod 12 rom first but it was denied as the error says this device is GT-N5110.
Well,I don't get it at all.
So,should I try to reflash cwm again?
If so,how do I do it?
Just flash from cwm again?

I need to install the PhilZ Touch recovery on my gt-n5110 to be able to install a custom rom, but i can't find it anywhere, as goo servers seem to be down.
