Thanks for understanding and for helping to keep XDA neat and tidy!

Thank you for your great work
Can you please make a rom for CDMA users too? Or tell me what files i need to change to be able to run this rom on my Htc Desire CDMA? If you want i will even pay for it please. I am sick of GB rom and Ics and Jb roms always break after a while. I speak in the name of all CDMA users. Have mercy please. May God bless you ! I know that you will help me. Thank you.

If it is possible with evervolv kernel to make a ROM for CDMA, then I will do.
Take it easy, I don't want your money. I need you to contribute knowledge on this because I don't have time to read all cdma related rom threads for htc desire. If you stumble across the relevant information just share it with me.
Cheers!

Awesome ROM. This really gives my tired Desire a new lease on life .
The only thing missing from the install guide was a quick and dirty A2SD install tutorial.

Does this problem also occurs on the stock ROM?
Are you the first owner of the A8181?
As well it might be a hardware problem (for example, damage), or overheating caused by the motherboard.

Thank you for replying. No, never occurred on stock. I used beanstalk ROM for 6 months , except rare reboots, everything was cool , until my SD card blow up. A week ago I got a class 10 card and i flashed beanstalk again, then my phone started to reboot while phone calls and overheating. After that i decided to flash liquidsmooth but reboots while calling and overheating continue.

Problem with Liquidsmooth v3.2 on HTC Desire Bravo
Hi
My faithful Samsung S3 died 6 weeks before the end of my contract and I'm trying to resurrect my old HTC Desire to keep me going. When I booted it, it was still running Cmd 7 and of course, hardly and of my usual apps would work on it.
I did a bit of reading today and then followed the instructions for installing Liquidsmooth v3.2 which was all good and made me much happier. Only problem is, I've installed only 8 apps and have run out of internal memory despite having activated app2sd. I know that it's working, as the Ext2 partition is about half full but the internal memory is down to only 4mb of space and barely functioning.
I've obviously done something stupid! Can someone help?
Thanks

I have now had to uninstall every app with the exception of 2 and even then, the phone is painfully slow. Any advice, much appreciated.

The most important thing is to use ext4 for the recovery image -- after rooting etc your Bravo will be USB bricked. The ext4 recovery has a USB-unbrick function This thread has some more installation info http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2549776

Non-existent ROM for the Desire ATM - Either You go S-Off and change HBOOT or you won't get much internal space.
AFAIK 2.3.4 has not been ported yet.

Not at all true. You should read about data2sd.
To op: try gingerburst
You will get exactly what you wish. See the screenshots for my OP. It's designed for stock hboot, and needs only ext4 partition for internal memory. You can increase it to as much as you required. My internal memory is 2.5GB, of which 1.5 GB is still free, lol

Sent from my Desire running Supernova Extreme - Gingerbread goodness with Unlimited Internal memory
I understand what you're saying, but meanwhile xda becomes clogged up because there is exactly the same question asked in about a million different threads. The same answers can be found in every one of those threads, so why have more than one? *wishful thinking I know*

It's true.. Users should search before posting. But once a thread is started, it's not going to be deleted. So my approach is to give them answers they need so that the thread fades to the backgound.. And in his case, he had specific requirements in his mind, so he has apparently researched stuff before posting and I think it deserves appreciation for that..

Ok, i was just talking to someone that was having the exact same problem as you and it turned out that he wasnt properly doing a full wipe.
You need to format everything other than the sd. In 4ext the option for this is in wipe > format all partitions (except sdcard)
Make sure you do this.

1. Users arent really having to go through much trouble. The only difference now is that you need to reboot in between flashing the rom and gapps.
2. By slightly breaking the setup wizard, I seem to have been able to fix the WiFi bug where it would get stuck turning on. I would rather have better working WiFi that I constantly use, than a perfectly working setup wizard which I only use once. Im sure the majority of other users feel the same.

VPN Issues
Greetings, I have installed Beanstalk 4.4.2 on my 4 years old Desire just few days ago. So far so good, it is great, fast, it really revived my smartphone. But ...
What is the reason no form of VPN works on it? I have some prepaid solution and its app doesn't work. OpenVPN doesn't. PP2P/L2TP solutions don't work. Is it system bug which needs fix or am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks for answer.

Sorry to ruin it for you but camera will not be fixed with K3 release, if it will be released anytime which I highly doubt anymore. It is a matter of unreleased sources and libs by HTC, so the best we will get is what we already have, camera-wise. So long story short, if you want fully functional camera and video recording, GB is the only way or that chinese ICS released sometime ago.

So if I want fully functional and fast HTC Desire I should go for Mild Wild or pure CM? What is the difference between cm based and redux based MW? Thanks.

They're just slightly different ROM bases. Install both, see which one you prefer
It's the best way to find out, unlike recommendations without justifications as above..
Remember you can maximise space much better with either of those ROMs as they into smaller hboots
CM version will fit into cm7r2, redux should fit into oxygenR2, check the threads.

AICP v7 boot.img/rom issue
Since the last release v7 the Rom is not functioning correctly for me (bsod's, stuck). Changing the kernel to cm17 or Slim kernel isnt working either. with cm17 Rom was starting correctly, but some tweaks were not possible (i.e. under the one x Settings-app). after installing the v7 many times with the other kernels i return to v6 now.
Does somebody have a clue bout this Situation or are People living with another kernel and missing some goodies of the great Rom?!?
WiFi issues?
Hey, I'm new to this forum so hopefully I'm posting this in the right thread - please forgive me if I'm not.
I flashed AICP - 6.0 - KK 4.4.4_r2 on my HTC One X last night and then did the OTA update to 7.0 NIGHTLY0 (20141106) - everything working smoothly so far, loving the ROM. However, there's one issue with WiFi: it keeps turning off by itself, and once it does, it's impossible to switch it back on (tapping the tile in the notification bar has no effect at all, and if I go to settings the WiFi switch is disabled). Reboot sometimes solves the problem but not always.
Is this a known issue? I hope anyone can help me with that as I really like the ROM, don't want to switch back to another one. Many thanks in advance!
Oh, I'm running Google Apps Version 4.4.4 (0), not sure if this is of any importance.

Hey Jakobvie
in my opinion the kernel isn't working right with the v7 Rom. Using one of the other mentioned Kernels makes the Rom run smoothly again but there are a few functions that won't be there any more... so these are no possibilities for me. I guess i'll wait for a reworked kernel.
Thank you
Just wanted to say thanks to you guys at AICP as I've been using your roms since the Desire HD, I know this has probably gone in the wrong thread but it referred me here.

Hi
This is awesome, firstly thanks to arco68 and Cm team and contributors for all this hard work.:good:
Id like to know has anyone experienced no-sound-in-call bug? and how is bluetooth audio these days?
How long does the first reboot?
I have already installed twice, but when I reboot is in the CM Logo boot more than 20 minutes does not start.
Did a clean install! And my recovery is the latest 6.0.5.1!
At this point I have not done reboot and is working, but when you? Until I'm afraid!
Does anyone have this problem?

I'm currently running F4k unofficial cm 12 with F4k pre4 kernel, if I format everything and clean install this ROM will I have to flash a different kernel (if so which one) or will it install its own kernal along with the rom? as I've read that f4k pre4 kernel is not a good combination with this rom as it works in a different way.
Hope this makes sense an someone can enlighten me.
Thanks

Dirty flash 0.94 version from 0.92. Everthing run smoothly except external SD card (scandisk 32gb, class 10) unmounted unexpectedly.
Try to flash clean with wipe cache, dalvik-cache, format data again, but still encounter the same issue.
Revert back to 0.92 version, no problem on external SD card mounting.
Wonder anyone encounter the same problem?

Hi
Found solution to unmount by using alternative Kernal, in my case Mani kernal but RedKernal also works according to other users.
Hope this helps.

I apreciate this ROM, but i want to try others
So trying other ROM's, i have to lose my apps and always configuring my accounts, so i came up with the concept of multi ROM, and my question is, it's possible in this tablet ?
And if you could develop that, if it is possible
Thanks
Cyanogen themes
I changed the theme one or two times, and now the notification drawer doesn't change anymore..... ((( anyone know how to solve this?
Thanks man
Working fine on the V500, but when the tablet starts or restarts the screen goes with very low brightness, but is just switching on and off the screen back to normal, only one bug so far. @edit
They told me that if Redkernel corrects this problem, he works on candy?
Awesome but a great dissapointment
'Rotation to Landscape' doesn't work on version 2.5.3 also the 'Screen Pinning' has the unpinning problem that persists from the earlier version.
Any ideas to fix this guys?
Hi all,
how is the development of this ROM going and what does the mod's message exactly mean?
Thread closed pending release with new build + removal of current non-compliant build.

To those who are running currently running Candy5, are you on v. 2.8 or 3.0? Can anyone confirm or reject the issues mentioned in the main thread with the latest build?
