[Q] Can we use both Flip cover and Bumper case same time .? - Mi 3 Accessories

I have Mi3 but i can't understand what product give me full protection.
Which is best for full protection.?
Bumper case
Flip cover
Back cover
if someone has solution please explain.

Only if you be careful while using your phone, will keep your device safe.
Otherwise,
1- Bumper case will protect your phone from side bumps or scratches, but you can't be sure about your phone's back & Display.
2-Flip cover suits well for those who want full protection but don't you think this might make your phone look UGLY. :?
3- Back cover might work as a skin on your phone which will make it look different with protection too.
My ultimate suggestion:
Use tempered glass screen protector to protect your screen from minor cracks caused by mishandling. On the other, hand, Use a hard back case or Use Spigen Case for full protection (This case might look hefty but surely, Not as UGLY as flip cover )
Ps- Don't go for cheaper tempered glass screen protectors, screen break might cost you around 6.5 K so better invest 10% amount in it's protection.

Bumper Case (modded TPU)

Tried looking for a case that would protect the bezel (like the bumpers for the iphone (i know)) and couldn't find any. Have a screen protection and plan on getting the ZAGG dry install skin, so really don't need anything for the front or back. Just want to maintain the shiny bezel. I know...Lame...I could just get the full body skin from ZAGG, but don't wanna go through the hassle.
Had a spare TPU case (rubber on side, hard plastic on back). Ended up cutting out the hard plastic and ended up with this. It's not bad. It retained it's shape and the phone still fits snug. It is much easier to take in and out of it though.
same here, couldnt found any bumper guards for this phone. but nice job on it
Question, can you take off the battery cover without removing the case?
No. The rubber wraps around the phone too much.

Same case I picked up from eBay. I might try this as well
Looks awesome imo...but the hardcover in the back can be i life saver tho.
Did anyone ever find a product like the one that was modded? I want just the bumper as well, like the iPhone.
No bumpers just cases for 989....

Help me choose a SGS2 case+protector

Hi guys,
When I look at the forum, it's like advertisements of new products which doesn't tell me a lot. So can you please recommend me:
A case that:
doesn't require me to open some part to access the screen
protects the phone well against drops
is comfortable to hold and touch (my fingers won't get itchy etc.)
And a screen protector that:
protects without distorting the image quality and responsiveness of the screen
doesn't leave bubbles inside (I hate the bubbles) or fingerprints outside
is a little slippery so it won't be a hard job for me to move fingers on the screen
THANKS IN ADVANCE FELLAS!
There is a hybrid case, just search hybrid case sgs2 in amazon,
I'm perfectly happy with that.
Downsides:
- not so slim anymore
- more weight
But my phone feels safe
And I'd suggest the Mumbi-screen protectors,
but you'll still some have fingerprints.
But once applied right (not easy btw )
they fit perfectly
Muta
you can look at the case-mate tough or the otterbox commuter, they both rock.
i bought the case-mate a few days ago, waiting untill it arrives
I also recommend the cases that other posters have, for a screen protector look no further than this.

Ive just recieved a Zenus Air Jacket looks sleek and smart, they do a range of colours, and it comes with a screen protector too, although i tried to fit mine and some dust came out of nowhere and went onto my screen so i had to bin it , hopefully the gorilla glass will protect instead

I have a transparent Casemate Barely There.
It's a bit rigid but I think is the thinnest case on sale.
The transparent one gives to the phone a nice shiny look.

I bought a hardcase, but i had the problem with the echo voice !
i heard my own voice twice !
is the problem fixed now?
In my personal opinion i like otterbox for SGS2, fits well, it has a metal cover for back side and plastic covers for usb port and earphones, i have one.

Personally, I bought a pack screen protector + white case on ebay.
You can search on ebay :
LOT 7en1 Housse Etui Coque Rigide/FILMS Protecteur Pour Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100
sold by citephone
I just tried different case.
I prefer hard cover.
I try
1) Phoenix tough case: i broke upper corner, rubber come out after a bit of time
Vote: 3/10
Price around 15€
2) Samsung Original Mesh Vent case: Too sensitive and since have hole the dust come in and leave and put it many times to clean i broke the upper corner. In any case it offer a very low protection
Vote 5.5/10
Price around 18€
3)Tpu soft cover gel from ebay: it is not so soft but offer a better protection than other but for it's material attire too many dust on the border. It offer a good grip
Price 5€
Vote 6.5/10 (for now)
At end i buy also Case-Mate Tough that have 2 layer protection but it has not arrived.
Arrived
Perfect case optimal protection and grip. 2 thing. Inside silicon collect dust and dont put while phone is on because it press power button to reboot
Incipio NGP case. Martin Fields screen protector.
A lot of people are recommending products that does not stand out. I prefer to make my phone special so it stands out when I take it out. I like sleek , high tech looking things and thats what this setup is about:
I am currently using metal black battery cover:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263780
with real aluminum black phone case: (see akiba slider or SZLF slider)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263780
(SZLF or china made version on ebay for $30, search i9100 metal case)
with ultra optics
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1263780
result is a Sleek phone with a premium metal feel to it. The ultra optics cancels out fingerprints while maintaining good optical clarity. (you may need to clean it still every 1 week or so like any protector)
If you are daring, remove the case and just replace the housing for 15$ on ebay every time it gets too scratched.

I got the Incipio NGP case as well and it is pretty sweet--has a great feel and is thin, although the back is a little bit too smooth but I still like it.
That is a good idea on the housing. I might try a white housing.
What is your opinion on a screen protector? I don't like how it adds a layer and changes the feel--and besides, the SGS2 has gorilla glass.

Which Type Of Case To Protect Digitizer Glass?

Having cracked the screen on my old HD2, I feel a bit paranoid now and want a case for my Note. I haven't ever used a case for any phone in the past as I'm in the mind frame that you pay good money for a phone which is well designed and feels great in the hand, so why go and cover it up? By the time the phone is so scratched and beaten up that it no longer looks pretty, it's time to change it anyway.
So, I don't understand why someone would put a plastic housing around the back of their phone, as surely that area doesn't need anywhere near as much protection as the glass? Happy to hear your views though.
At the same time, the plastic films which cover the screen wouldn't protect the screen from cracking in the eventuality of a fall, would they? So again, I can't see the reason for covering a lovely feeling screen with a film.
I use my phone in the car for navigation, so a flip case might not be practical, which I guess only leaves me with a sock/sleeve case of some sort?
Can anyone recommend something which will offer some level of protection to the glass screen (digitizer) in the event of a fall?
Have you looked at these:

I really like the original flipcase...

My only concern with those tempered glass 'covers' is that they only protect the phone's digitizer from scratches. There is no evidence that dropping one's phone will only crack the tempered glass and leave the digitizer in one piece. Or is there?
Use a universal car mount and you can use a flip case.

A few things to consider before you buy accessories

1) Most screen protectors do not fit the view 20. The description might claim it fits View 20 and Nova 4 but in reality it will not. Most do not include the cut-out for sensor and camera, and do not cover the screen fully. To be sure the protector fits, get Olixar tempered glass, which is specifically made for Honor View 20. It's more pricey, but well worth the money.
2) Do not buy hard plastic covers for the device. View 20 is full-glass phone and hard plastic covers provide no real protection to it. Get a soft TPU one.
3) Camera lens protection is also recommended, as the lenses touch the surface you place it on, and also very easily scratch. You can get one from amazon for 10 dollars.
4) In a nutshell, there are a ton of accessories available that are supposedly usable for View 20 but in fact aren't. And most importantly, this phone is super prone to scratches so please protect it all around.
You don't need a screen protector, as the View 20 comes with one pre-applied. The phone also comes with a soft plastic case in the box, which when used raises the lens of the camera off the surface.
All the points you've made seem to be totally covered by the items you get straight out of the phone's box.

First of all, the Global Model does not include a case.
Second, the screen protector is incredibly thin and made of soft plastic. It provides very little cover at all. Third, when you put your phone in your pocket, the camera glass will scratch.
I bought the olixar screen protector. Like the one I bought previously there is no cut out for the camera, even though it was shown in the ad on Amazon

I have a Mofi screen protector. It is fantastic at preventing fingerprints. It is, indeed a hard, tempered glass screen protector. It is edged in black, which matches up to the phone's small bezels. There is also a small black circle around the camera notch. I'm happy with it, especially comparing it to the smudgy, original plastic screen protector that came on the phone.
As far as cases go, I've also gotta hand it to Mofi - perfect fit and prefer the fabric cases. I cannot stand the fingerprint prone clear cases. I tried another one, in addition to the one that came with the phone, and I just cannot do it.

Question How to protect Fold z4?

Hello!
I need to protect my Fold z4 as it doesn't come cheap!
I will need to use antibacterial wet wipes on it and I don't want to cause any damage.
Can you recommend the safest way to protect it? E.g. particular cases, screen protectors, other?
Also to say, I will be using wireless charging almost constantly.
Thanks!
I went though a couple of cases -- this one is by far the best and works with wireless charging.
This case:
https://www.amazon.com/SUPCASE-Unicorn-Full-Body-Protector-Kickstand/dp/B0B7MC26MS?tag=xdaforum01-20
Sadly it's not cheap -- but considering the quality of it and the cost of the phone I think it's well worth the money.
I have this one, it may be not the best for protection, as it is thin, but it looks great:
https://www.amazon.es/memumi-Carbono-Resistente-Duradero-Protecci%C3%B3n/dp/B0BG2723M4/
I've also in mind the oficial samsung leather cover, but it is a bit expensive and I want to have a look at it first.
using a cheap clear case which protects the body and the screen (allows wireless charging). when out walking the dogs/gym/chucking it in the bag, i put it in a motorola neoprene pda case which fits snugly. has a built-in garter ring inside for the stylus.
too over protection will make you hard to enjoy this fancy phone. I only use nilkin leather cover with rubber protection along side of the Phone and itu has magnetic lock for the front screen which will prevent serious damage if it drop and front screen jelly screen protection. Thats it and im ready to go and protected
as you said this phone doesnt come cheap then it will be useless if it cannot be enjoy if too over protected
