Firmware/s - G Pad 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it accidental that the firmware on Lg Gpad 10.1 is so close to the Nexus devices? Mine is 4.4.2 KOT49I and the Nexuses have KOT49H. (Or every KitKat devices has the same FW?)

I think there all the same. My htc desire 610 is the same as my lg gpad 7.0

Buy LGOG2 boot loader unlock if Wu LG
The device is out since last automn, it's not even one year old...
My next one is not for the next 1 or 2 year easy!
And, as of now, there's no need to "upgrade", there's no real gaint to get, performance wyze, at stock speed. So when it starts to get "slow", I'll overclock a little, install CM rom, and stuff like that!
But, for now, the device is doing everything I ask it to do, and fast!
Nexus 9

OG is still lightning fast and running smoothly on all the apps. I 'll most probably wait for the G3, the time when OG really outdated.

Should i buy g pro?

Hi all, i'm planning to buy lg g pro in India (e988). Is it a good buy? Main con seems to be locked bootloader. (Currently using atrix2,which also has locked bootloader )Any other negative points?
Other option i was considering was nexus5 but it is costlier than g pro and seems to have poor battery and camera.
So, should i go for g pro?

This is one of the most underrated devices on the market.... You cannot go wrong with it in my opinion.. Dev support is only increasing.. example is we have a stable cm 10.2 now..4.4 is already up and running and very soon official cm 11 will be here

Android 5.0 Lollipop and Google Nexus 7 2012

It really grinds my gears to hear that the Google nexus 7 2012 version is getting android 5.0, a 2 year old device will get the latest Google treat and not our abandoned One X. Happy for Nexus 7 owners though.
It would be so great if its possible to make it on hox. There would be no point for selling hox

What's everyone's guess on lollipop for the LTE model?

It took what, several months for 4.4.4 to come to us... Will we see lollipop next week?
My thoughts exactly... Gpe devices got 4.4.4 before the 7lte... They should have called this thing almost a nexus device...lol

Lg G3 gets Lollypop Good news for us????

Its been announced that LG G3 will get official android lollypop this week. That being the case will this assist developers to kick start the lg g pad custom ROMs. I realise they are completely different devices but I was wondering if some of the drivers would be useful or if it will even help at all.
Thanks in advance
