LG G3 Clone 1:1 [REVIEW] Circle Cover Test, 5.5" HD 1280x720, MTK6582, KitKat, Knock On, Micro SD support
- 5.5 Inch 1280x720 pixels HD screen
- MTK6582 1.3GHz Quad Core
- 1GB RAM / 8GB ROM
- Android 4.4.2 KitKat
- Notification LED
- Knock On
- 8.0MP rear camera
- Band: GSM:850/900/1800/1900MHz - WCDMA:850/2100MHz
- Single Micro SIM
- MicroSD works (32GB card tested!)
- Big widgets and transparent widgets work on this version, can also be resized!
- The original LG circle cover also works on this clone! (see the full review)
- Good & loud sound out of the 3.5 mm headphone jack!
- The phone has LG G3 bootanimation, you just need to rename the files in the /media/ directory
- The fake Antutu on the device will show 34.000 in score, the real score I got is about 17.000
- The bad thing: I was not able to get a free lock on the GPS with the device. Didn't really try so much. But don't depend on, that the GPS is good or even working. Unfortunately it is the same for many clones, also the Note 4 clones. The GPS antenna is often of a low quality.
ROOT? try with iROOT http://www.mgyun.com/m/en
HOW TO CHANGE BOOT ANIMATION MANUALLY TO THE LG VERSION:
1. First root the phone
2. Install Root Browser from the Play Store
3. Open Root Browser and go to /system/media/ on the phone
4. In there you will find bootanimation.zip and bootanimation1.zip
(and also shutdown.zip and shutdown1.zip).
5. The one with the 1 in the name will be the LG bootanimation,
but the phone will use the one without the 1 in the name.
6. So just rename the existing bootanimation.zip to something else,
and then rename bootanimation1.zip to bootanimation.zip
7. Reboot and the phone will use the LG bootanimation done!

Hi I got this phone and I can't root it can you help?

FAQ
Q: How do I get rid of the Touchwiz interface?
A: We can't completely get rid of it as of right now, but you can try installing LauncherPro or Launcher 7 (there are many other 3rd party launchers available in the market) and this will greatly change the look/feel of the phone and mute down the Touchwiz effects.
Q: How do I monitor my battery useage/get a percentage icon?
A: You can go to Settings>Battery Useage to see the nice graphical layout and see what is eating up battery on your phone. For more information on your battery useage and for the option to have notification bar icons, download a third party app such as Battery Indicator.

Edit #2 You have "8 GB included" under memory, as in a sd card comes in box? I didn't have that either.

I'm not sure if this is stock or because of launcher pro but here's a tip: If you press and slide your finger along the top bar (with the time and battery, etc) you can adjust the screen brightness!

App not working on Zopo zp600+
I wrote an App to show 3D videos (mp4 with 3d flag on) on devices like SH80F, HTC Evo3D and LG P920.
But on my new zp600+ the app does not work as expected. Videos are only shown as side by side videos.
Maybe it's a problem with the build in player.
Or I have to manually switch to the 3D mode, but how?
Is it possible to replace the android mediaplayer framework with that from my other devices?

Hi,
@jro04: did you use the Read3D lib/sdk from LG for stereoscopic 3d?
@all: has anyone successfully verified that zp600+ provides this LG extension?
I general: how to make an OpenGL game run on zp600+ in stereoscopic mode?

Hi Saltana,
Thank you for your response.
No, so far I do not use the lib from LG, because I set the stereoscopic flag in all of my videos.
All 3d smartphones I tested so far (HTC, LG, Sharp) switched automatically to 3d when my app is playing them.
Cheers Jürgen

Yes. Make sure that you open the file with the built-in 3DVplayer. After you open the file with the 2 screens, press the menu button (bottom left). It will switch to 3D. To switch back, same button.
Cheers!
Zopo ZP600+ dialer bug - number pad has been cropped
I have a new Zopo ZP600+ phone. I found the following problem preventing me using calling number option systems like voicemail, when using the system UI (dark) theme. The last row of the number pad has been cropped, preventing me using #, 0 and * in call queuing systems and voicemail.
You can see it on the following image:
Maybe the latest firmware or factory ROM is not OK?
I am running the original ZOPO ZP600 ROM, I never flashed:
Baseband version: 2013/11/13 20:34
Kernel version: Fri Dec 27 18:41:51 CST 2013
Build number: ZP600 20140517-150532
How can I fix it? Could you please send me any information about it?

3d games
hi can anybody recommend 3d games for zp600+
mybe with download links
thx
I have bought ZP 600+ and it's great but there is one huge problem, every time when I call anyone and when he answers phone vibrates. It's very frustrating for me and for anyone on the other side. I use to have something similar on HTC but it was only when the phone was not near my head.
Hallo, could you help me, I have phone ZP600+ Zopo mobile v. 4.2.2 android, v. 3.4.5 kernel, no. assembly ZP600 + 20131212-150532, v. self-assembly 1386226992. I have a problem that is not possible to download games on installed micro sd card, even though it is selected in the phone settings / equipment / storage / SD card ( 16 Gb ) as a default disk for writing? Always, eg. from the Google store when I do try to download game it pop up message that I do not have enough space and is always considered only storage space in the phone's internal memory. In the tab info on phone, system updates and software, it shows that the phone is up to date and does not require the upgrade. Can you please advise me, what should be done ? Is there still any other, unpublished update that would solve the problem?

:good:
where do people discuss these mirrors? I seem to be alone wanting discussion.
1. Mirror has Android 5.1, but play store doesn't download 4.1 apps to it. How to figure out why?
2. Can I put SIM in it and it will dial phone? Or does it always slave to separate cellphone?
Sometimes the Android version that your device uses is just too old: only the higher versions would be compatible. If your smartphone does not use the latest version of Android, start by updating your device.

Why I did this thread?
Because i own one of these device, and i'll try to collect all the information about it!
What i have done?
I rooted the device with KingRoot and before to restart and to erase my root functions I injected the BusyBox into it with the idea - I can replace all of the symbolic links and then to install SU + to unlock the bootloader - because I didn't see any other opportunity. Sadly the phone before that has restarted and I lost the root - forever. My screen - because the BusyBox injection changed my screen in high resolution and it's appear err from the Application launcher (perhaps the incompatible resolution). I installed the Es-Browser along KingoRoot PC and then Nova launcher - works.
Don't make any mistake with Alcatel Pixi 4_6-3G or another model, the similarity is in the processor, GPU, or RAM, but not in the file structure, partition architecture. Here is not any custom recovery which you can use.
Let's collect all the date, everybody who have this device and/or working about the: Rooting, Custom Rom, Custom recovery!

I got the same phone and same issue. Root on first try, phone resets when I try to do something, and root is gone. I can keep re-rooting it but when it resets, root is gone. You seem to be more knowledgeable than me so are you saying there's no way to get a custom recovery on this phone and no way to get Xposed Installer?
@klampth Figure anything out?
No way till now!
You can install Xposed but the effect will be the same like to me, with BusyBox injection - crashing of the launcher, you'll get smallest icons, because the high resolution.... from the implanted BusyBox or Xposed modules, which not will work anymore after the FPO reset but they will change the rules of your phone and..... crashed everything!
Sadly for now, here's no way, because I tried to find out a firmware for this device and I didn't. If we have an original firmware, we can experiment under a virtual machine. It's not a good idea to damage the phone (How I did it).
I was having that problem but i now have the phone fully rooted with super su
So i rooted my phone with king root and it rooted my phone on the 3rd try but i as well would lose root once it would reboot. So i downloaded on to my phone before i rooted it again its an app called super sume it takes king root off and replaces it with super su first time and everything. Hope it works for you so i put the download in a gmail account i emailed it to [email protected] password is supersume9 hope thats cool i only made it for the app link
