[Q] Samsung Galaxy Note 3 SM-9005 Smart network (Philippines) to T-Mobile Unlock - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Hi everyone,
My brother, who lives in the Philippines, gave me a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (SM-9005) so that I could possibly unlock it and use it in the U.S. on T-Mobile. The issue is that the phone was purchased from the Smart network in the Philippines (like how we'd buy a phone from a carrier in the US under contract).
I was wondering if anyone knew of a reputable merchant that could provide me with a working code to unlock the phone for use with my T-Mobile SIM card? The suggestions that I've read about have less-than-decent reviews, particularly in regards to their money-back-guarantees, customer service responsiveness, and the hoops they make you jump through before (not) returning your money for failed unlocks.
Thanks in advance!

Unlock Irish Galaxy Note II

Hi guys,
I am due to get the Note II tomorrow on the Irish carrier Vodafone. I'm travelling to the USA next week for a month and so I will need it unlocked. Is there an app or similar way to carrier unlock it like there is with the Samsung Galaxy S III? I will go down the route of paying for the unlock code if necessary but I would rather not as the Note II itself is costing me €450!!
Cheers,
M
I'm on vodafone in the UK. It came factory unlocked.
Sent from my Galaxy Note 2 through the Space Time Continuum
mine came unlocked from carphone warehouse. Let us know if it comes unlocked or locked.
I will indeed guys I truly am hoping against hope mine will be unlocked as well as that would be so handy! Have any of you flashed a stock UK ROM after rooting as I hate all the useless bloat Vodafone put on their devices!!
Cheers,
M
Edit: It arrived early guys and it's locked So what are my options?? Really am disappointed!!
Update: Called Vodafone and they gave me the unlock code Have you guys noticed on auto brightness the setting seems just a little bit too dim??

i can check at the local shop but i highly doubt that they have used notes.and if you buy one direct from docomo it will cost around 89000 yen plus the contract fee 9000 yen and the sim unlock around 3200 yen total cost around 101,200 yen or 1198.23 AU
The only place that will sell them are yahoo japan

Hello people,
could you please tell me why Samsung or the UK carriers will not ship Dual Simcard phones (Duos) to the UK?

There is no technical Reasons why they don't sell duos phones.
Some reasons i believe are:
1) There isn't much demand for duos in UK compared to China/India
2) Most of the phones in UK are sold through carriers on contract. So, the carriers will generally lock the phones in such a way that only their carrier works on it. Most of the people won't use two sims of the same network. So, the whole point of Dual SIM is pointless when buying on contract.

Good explanation. However, what about those of us who buy our own devices sim free? That is what I did with my Note II, and had my Note 10.1 been a 3g, I would have bought it sim free too.
I honestly wished companies such as Expansys, Handtec, Carphone warehouse and others were stocking these phones. I normally don't want to be restricted to one network. For business and personal reasons I need to keep separate numbers going.
Thanks for talking to me though.
because of frequency issue.. may or may not be compatible to your carriers frequency

[Q] Galaxy note 3 Unlocked (N900, N9000 or LTE N9005) Which to purchase

Greetings all,
I am thinking of upgrading and replacing my GS3 with an unlocked Galaxy Note 3 from a third party dealer. I am in Southern California and a T-Mobile customer. Apparently there are several versions, the N900, N9000 and the LTE N9005. I am not sure which one I should purchase. My intention in getting an unlocked phone is so that in the future I can switch carriers easily if I choose. This is not something I expect to do any time soon, but it would be nice to have the option. Obviously, I also want the best performance. Any info would be appreciated.
Thank You,

samsung galaxy s7 active info

Hello!
I have a question.I am interested in buying a phone Samsung galaxy s7 active from USA and I was wondering if I can use it in Romania on VODAFONE.
Thanks.
As long as its unlocked you can...however due to limited support I'd recommended buying another phone closer to home.
Remember if warrenty on your phone craps out...then you have to send it back to country of orgin to claim...inconvenient for someone like you
