We have a live image of Xiaomi Redmi 2s, that too in comparison with it’s successor Redmi 1s. This is the only live image that has been leaked/spotted of Xiaomi Redmi 2s. And by the first impression, the phone looks so much better than what we seen in the TENAA listing.
I’m really excited for Xiaomi’s January event. We have seen some rumors about that event, including Xiaomi Arch (smartphone with dual curved displays), Redmi Note 2 and Mi 4S. And of course the successor to the intensely popular Xiaomi Redmi 1s.
From the first look itself, the device looks awesome and it does bring in the much needed refreshment to the design on Redmi 1S. We can say that the device reminds of Mi 4 (apart from the bezels), particularly because the capacitive buttons have changed to Mi 4
The specifications include the new 64 bit Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor, 1 GB RAM, 4.7 inch screen (720p), 8MP primary camera, 2MP secondary, 2200 mAh battery and comes pre-loaded with MIUI v6.
GSMArena reported earlier about the Redmi 2S in the TENAA listing, from which we do have a complete list of specifications and a small preview of the device. But this is the first time ever we are having live pics of Xiaomi Redmi 2S pictured in comparison with it’s predecessor Xiaomi Redmi 1s. And it looks exactly the same as the Redmi 2S TENAA listing that we have seen leaked before.

This is Redmi 1s forum. When redmi 2 will arrived and IF it will have the same success will be another forum. But Yureka have MUCH better specification than 2nd.

Meizu has released the rumors that Meizu will announce Meizu MX6 or Meizu Pro 5 mini, as you know, Xiaomi Mi5 will come out on Feb on MWC, 2016 soon. Meizu seems to be released after Xiaom MI5 for most users’ thinking.

Meizu MX6 will have 4000mAh battery and Helio X20 processor at 1799RMB.
According to reports this morning, the MX6 will support all current Chinese 3G and 4G LTE networks making it the first Meizu to be offered in one model compatible with all networks. This is good news for Chinese buyers but what about the rest of the hardware?
Apparently the Meizu MX6 will continue with a similar thin bezel design to the MX5, but will see an upgrade to the Mediatek Helio X20, 4GB RAM and a larger 4000mAh battery. The phone is also said to have an 8 mega-pixel front camera and 20.7 mega-pixel rear.
Will it surpass Xiaomi Mi5 or not?
Well... I'm waiting for 2017, for price drop on pro 5. Now I have MX5, before I had m1 note. So MX6... in 2018

There is a great event in China about Huawei that Huawei has released Huawei Enjoy 5s smartphone on Dec. 3, some users said it will be the best rival or killer for Letv 1S below $200. In your opinion, do you think so?
Huawei Enjoy 5S has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720p) display and is powered by an octa-core 1.5GHz MediaTek MT6753T processor which if I’m not wrong, we’re seeing for the first time.
Other features include a 13 mega-pixel rear camera, 5 mega-pixel front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 16GB on-board storage (expandable) and a 2200mAh battery… besides of course, the fingerprint scanner on the rear of Huawei Enjoy 5S.
In conclusion, Huawei Enjoy 5s looks like Letv 1s with full metal body.
So which one will like more?

Unlike Huawei Enjoy 5 is too small battery capacity.
You cant compare those two phones. In any way Letv 1s is much better from Huawei Enjoy 5s.

wow, i think so, 4.7inch screen size will be much better than the larger screen. It's easy to hold.
Mi A1 have a bunch of custom kernel and since the source code for Vince is release I hope see kernel coming.
I'm surprise that Mi A1 have so much kernel and Rom, because note 5 is better and not expensive.
Beloved developers give some love to note and plus phone.
My LH Kernel is coming for this device... but my redmi 5 plus din't arrive yet, so please wait up a bit, since my kernel will unlock all that this device can handle.

Well, there's a lot of confusion between Redmi note 5 and Redmi 5 plus, on my point of view, redmi note 5 is the one that has dual cameras and snapdragon 636, and not the one with a single camera and snapdragon 625 (That is Redmi 5 Plus -Vince model-)
So if your device has a snapdragon 625 and the model is Vince , then it will support it, ram amount wont matter, their are the same codename (3gb/32gb and 4gb/64gb- my model)
I hope we can build an awesome community around here, with great roms, kernels, mods, etc. :fingers-crossed:

I hope the moderators change this Subforum name to Redmi 5 Plus only, since Redmi 4x is also known as Redmi 4, and it's thread is called by the Global name, Redmi 4x
We don't know a lot about the Mi Mix 4 yet. We can assume it will have small bezels and some sort of pop-up/slider camera mechanism. The Mi Mix 3 had a slider, but it sounds like the Mi Mix 4 will have a pop-up camera. Assuming this is the case, do you plan on getting it?
There's really not a lot of information out there about the Mi Mix 4 yet. There have been some renders made based purely off speculation. It will most likely be a 5G device and feature the Snapdragon 855 or 855+. But the display size, cameras, RAM, battery, and more everything else is unknown. Are you thinking about getting it?

I always use miui I actually like it. Makes xiaomi my fav manufacturer. Yea they are always beasts. It'll either have 2 cameras or three. Probably 3. The 855+ 12GB ram biggest unless they do something stupid and have a 16gb version lmao. Big screen. 90hz. That's all I need honestly is miui at 90hz.
Fun fact you can overclock the k20 pros screen to 85hz

same goes to me..cant belive there is no solid leaked so far..been waiting for mi mix 4 for ages..now im using mi 9T pro and i like it..but im still waiting for mi mix 4..i think i still need to wait coz everytime xiaomi device come out..there is no global rom for first release..so do need to wait..

So will it be Global Model upon release ?
The Price is totally out of reach and not really liking how it turned out to be honest, far too futuristic with that surround screen.
Possibly may wait for Xiaomi Mi 10 next March (if I can).
Well after months of being teased, I'm pretty disappointed. I was hoping Xiaomi would stay true to form and produce a flagship phone at a budget price but at ￥19,999 or £2257.00 or USD 2807.00 it's worth more than my car.
I don't really care about the display, although it is impressive, nor about the latest snapdragon processor or 5G.
I can't really see any devs buying it to develop custom roms or gcam.
Hopefully Xiaomi or Redmi will produce a budget phone with a 108mp camera I can afford.
I have to go now, so I can sulk.
