Warning, the terminal is difficult to structure the Rom, during my tests I ran into hard brick (I flashed the rom of needrom to understand the differences, but the phone is dead after flash), thankfully restored preloader with other similar phone ; This is because needrom find a rom April, not compatible with l500s that the Roma of June and probably used different board during production., so watch and I take responsibility.
Do yourself, if you can back up with mtk droid tool, after the root of the device.

I tried what you have posted - only thing i managed was to hard brick my phone . After that I found stock rom and got it back working. Then only repartition and recovery worked. I lost IMEI - had to use MTK droid tools to write them back. It is rooted and so on but audio is really poor. I am trying MobileUncleTools now to increase it. Any ideas how I can get a decent rom that has everything working would be nice - like increased microphone and speaker volume and so on.

[DEV][WIP]EMUI 3.1 for GALAXY E5 (Full of bugs)

Hi,
I successfully ported Huawei Emotion UI 3.1 (EMUI 3.1) from Huawei Honor 4X (msm8916 version) to GALAXY E5 (SM-E500H).
The ROM currently boots fine but it's full of bugs.
Let's talk about what's working:
- Touchscreen
- HW acceleration (GPU)
- Power and back buttons (Recent and Home buttons are not working).
- Bluetooth
- More I probably forgot
What's not working ?
- Everything else such as:
- Wi-Fi (can't activate)
- Audio (Earphones don't work ever)
- RIL (calls, IMEI Null)
- Camera (Back & Front)
- LED Flash (Torch for example)
- Huawei Launcher theme changing (icons don't change)
- Capacitive buttons (lights)
- Etc.
Similarly, I have successfully ported Flyme OS 4.5.4 from Redmi 2 to our device and Lenovo Vibe UI from Lenovo A6000 Plus. Both Roms have same bugs as EMUI.
If any of you guys knows how to fix these issues, please comment or PM.
There is NO DOWNLOAD link yet because ROMs are REALLY not ready to be installed. So please, don't ask for link.

The file is still in my PC but connection speed is a nightmare.

Load the Homtom HT17 PRO scatter file.
Remove the battery from HT17 PRO
Press download only.
Connect HT17 PRO through USB.
And insert the battery.
After completing flashing. close SPFlash Tool.
Disconnect HT17 PRO
RestartHT17 PRO into recovery
Flash supersu 2.76
Restart into system

@jan177 , If you have time,please backup you stock recovery,boot,and scatter file for me,
You can do it without root permission by using this tool and follow this guide
I will try to build twrp for HT17 Pro.

I know its an old post but i just spent a few days on this model and gained root quiet easily.
I dont really like the family of one click root apps but after being unsuccessful of finding a way using a PC from within the forums i did this.
1) download APK kingosuperuser and install. This takes care of the binaries.
2)download APK kingoroot and install. This is the one click root app that "attempts root". In this case as long as the 1st binary app has been installed this 2nd app never failed for me.
Despite now having root access you' ll find a bunch of apps requiring root still wont work, flashfire for example.
3)download APK super sume and install.
Now unless you can get rid of all traces of kingoroot and all such one click rooting apps their interference and conflict later will make you regret ever installing them.
Super sume once installed cleans those apps out of your system and prepares the way to install supersu. But for now dont manually go deleting any of those other root apps.
4)download supersu and install. I've used Google play store and APK's and both have worked fine. What combination you go about here us up to you. Installing a slightly older version of supersu yo begin with or install the latest or have the latest installed as an update which happens after an hour or so. Which ever version you install first then is tbe time to search your files for any evidence of tbe kingo apps including super sume and delete them all manually. You are finished once the latest supersu has installed.
I was unable to find any custom recoveries or roms. I tried porting recoveries using various tools but failed. And whenever i bricked the device pushing it to its limits its very easy thank fully to flash the stock firmware and start again. I found the mtk flash tool infinix much better than sp flash tool for this

I am curious why I am only able to get VOLTE working with this rom and stock. I just couldn't figure why this happened. I reflash the 727 modem again

Could someone move this tread to the rom section? This rom is really good with almost nightly update.
