This is Candy5. Built straight from CyanogenMod source with commits from a variety of different Sources/ROMS. We wanted to give the users a fun, fully customizable ROM.We aim to add more features as this project progresses.

Download Candy5.zip
Download 5.0.+ Gapps (optional)
Place Candy5.zip on phones memory or SD card
Boot into recovery (either twrp or cwm)
Full wipe (Dalvik Cache, Cache, System, Factory Data Reset)
Flash Candy5.zip
Flash Gapps
Flash SuperSu zip (optional)
Reboot and Enjoy

Please give first boot a good few minutes.
Candy5 is in early stages and will inherit CyanogenMod bugs and issues. But some we have resolved ourselves.
The base has been tested and passed most users needs for a Daily Driver.

I can't change the notification sound of my social apps like whats app, also the system sound, i cant change any notification sound

Double tap to wake is not working also the popupthat asks u to choose the app that will open a file for example (video) is bugged it says "android system has stopped
downloading, will test out & get
I have been testing this from yesterday. Only issue I have found is the android system FC.. And that happens only when the default app is not set.. The default action popup seems to be causing this issue

Thanks for the update.. Fixed now.. Another issue I'm facing.. Unable to set a alarm.. Clock Seems to hang up when setting the alarm

Seems to be a UI issue.. When you have network traffic icon enabled and the option to show the alarm clock icon in status bar.. It causes a conflict and causes the phone to freeze.. I disabled the alarm clock icon and now its good.. Not a big issue though.. Can be fixed at leisure[emoji1]

That's the actual icon size. If you want bigger icons than change them in launcher preferences

well, I'll try it. The only thing I dont like about 5.1.1 or 5.1 is only few modules work. I had to revert back to 5.0.2 because of modules
I will be able to try it tmrw afternoon, ill report back asap xt1068 here!

wow , xt1068 here, booted up, setup 100% working, no fcs so far, note to everyone, dont try flash a cm12.1 kernel, it wont boot

bugs
- adding toggles that have no icons to the notification drawer cause an infinite systemui fc
- icons in status bar are super small (system ui related)
- setup wizard relaunch (unknown, probably system ui again)

Mine is compiled with linaro, but original systemui.apk crashes... we're working on it now.
EDIT: patched
Works, two sims also working. At time no lags, fc etc. Fast and smooth. Report more later.

Not sure if it is something wrong from my side or a bug, but can you confirm the issue below for me?
I check the option to hide the superuser icon on status bar menu, but it does not work and superuser icon continue to appear when in use.
I use this on Nexus 4, the icon annoy me a little, and it hides normally.

OrionLP is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh? [emoji14]). We started this project for falcon (Moto G), to make a stable Rom which would include Bitsyko layers and important customization. @vibhu0009 Great work dude. The features in the "Universe" section are nice, didn't test Layers yet. But phone app FCs on selecting SIM related call settings in phone app, and in "Mobile Networks" section in "Settings->More". Please look into that. Don't have logcat with me :/

Updating from previous CandySiX release
1) Download CandySiX.zip
2) Boot into recovery
3) Flash CandySiX.zip

IMPORTANT - PROBLEMS/ISSUES:
If you have issues, I need the following:
Logs from you (logcat, last_kmsg, dmesg) linked to on pastebin.com or hasteb.in, showing the failure.
A clear description of the steps that I need to take to exactly reproduce the problem.
State what flavor build you are on: CMTE, Layers, OMS, etc...
Please DO NOT complain about problems and offer nothing to help fix it. I reserve the right to ignore you for not following insructions...

Layers is included by default. The G+ screenshot I provided was using the Material Glass theme, which supports both CMTE and Layers...
Edit: Sorry that screen shot was made using Dark Mode (Night Mode) built into the ROM.

Not yet that I am aware of. Features are being brought up fairly quickly though, so maybe soon.

I have not changed my rom for a year and since my N5 isnt my daily driver it hasnt had enough attention of late so lets give this rom a try, it appears to tick all the boxes for what i need, DPI scalability is a must and the rest is a bonus.

Try changing kernel.
Note : for better charging speed, you got to leave it to rest like unused, data off, wifi off....

If probable i would suggest some features like head up notification and add some items on power menu like screenshot,flashlight etc. Keep it up sir. Thanks
