A while back i used to "try" to root stuff. I sucked at it BAD. Anyway, I have a Galaxy Note 8.0 (GT-N5110) that I had rooted to a certain point (very superficial) and I just kept it the way it was, that way I could use Multi-window for any app. This morning I unplug my tab from the charger only to be disappointed that it will not turn on. Ive tried different power outlets, different cables, different base chargers, even the whole "power+vol_up+home" thing... nothing. I never updated the tab when Kitkat came through the pipeline. Im freaking out that a new major update automatically happened overnight or something. Im sorry to trouble you all, but does anyone have suggestions? Since it's rooted I can't take it to Samsung or Best Buy. Honestly if I could just get it back to stock, that would be awesome, but im more concerned about getting it to simply turn on. Any Ideas?
If your device is rooted you won't get an OTA update so that could not be the problem. You can try to unplug battery (mus open the device)"and see what happened. Maybe your battery is faulty or someting else.
K... I appreciate it Ill take a look. But, lets say I actually open it (without making things worse), how do I determine if the battery is in fact faulty? If it is, can I get a replacement? preferably an official samsung one.

The problem with this device is you cannot pull out the battery easily. Maybe after that steps it boots up again.
Battery removal wasn't bad... now I'm just waiting for a new one (ordered on ebay, crossing fingers hoping it was legit). What did you mean "after that steps it boots up agin."? Will the tablet boot up without the battery if it's plugged in or something?

Wow, that suck. sorry for you man. For now, try to plug the tablet to a computer and while device manager opened and see if there is change. If the change say "qhsusb" or something along that line and not your model number . . . changing battery wont do anything because it's already hard bricked. if not, finger cross.

No. But sometimes after this step and reconnecting the battery the device boots up. Also a battery calibration is done.
I tried plugging in the tablet to the computer with the old battery and then without any battery. Neither one prompted anything in the device manager. Today I got the new battery (assuming its legit and in good condition) in the mail. I plugged it in, and nothing. Plugged the tablet with the new battery to the wall charger, nothing. Plugged the tablet with the new battery to the computer while running device manager, nothing.
I'm going assume that the new battery is dead and let it stay connected to the wall charger for 8+ hrs, and see if there are any changes.
I just really don't understand what the deal is and why this would randomly happen. Ive never had problems with the firmware or anything. I have felt like there was an issue with the battery being that it doesn't seem to be keeping much of a charge... but for it to just Hard Brick like this seems so out of the blue. Can anyone provide me with additional suggestions please?
Maybe I'll ask it this way...
Is there any way to test if the batteries are food? That way I can at least determine if the tablet is in fact hard bricked or just bad batteries.
Might not be what you want to hear, but if different cables, chargers and batteries don't work, then maybe there was a power surge overnight while the device was plugged into the wall that took out the device (I once lost a computer that way and now I only use surge suppressors (note that not all power bars are proper surge protectors! See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surge_protector ) that are UL 1449 certified with a low clamping voltage and high energy absorption rating as a minimum; the fancier ones can even tell you if your wall outlet has a grounding problem). Or your tablet's USB port is broken, but that doesn't make sense based on what you've said thus far. Or you're just super-unlucky and all of your replacement parts are also faulty (it could happen). Either way, I've got my fingers crossed for you!
In the meantime, a multimeter would be able to tell if the batteries hold a charge, and whether or not power flows to the device when the battery is attached or the device is plugged into the wall or computer.
Just make sure you read up on how to use one first so you don't accidentally electrocute yourself:

First my printer decides its time to start printing crooked over a couple of months, getting so bad that it jams up a few weeks ago, requiring me to get a new printer, which has been a fiasco in and of itself that still hasnt been resolved. Ive gone through 4 printers in one week, all of them different model printers, all from HP, and each and every one of them defective.
Then my laptops video card tweaks out because of installing Splashtop Stream, which starts a domino effect requiring me to do a factory reset on the laptop.
Then my Tablet just decides to kill over.
Then my Microsoft Arc mouse decides it doesn't the want to wheel to work requiring me to purchase a new one, and when I receive it, the cover for the battery compartment is missing and the wheel click is defective. It took 2 and a half weeks to resolve
Then I get bronchitis.
all in less than a month.
Alright, ya... it's dead. Oh well. Here's me trying to make the most of it: are there any places that buy bricked tabs? I figure the parts have to have some sort of salvage value.... maybe.
You can't go to a Samsung service shop? They might not fix it under warranty, but I assume they'll have a look at it and give you an estimation? I feel for you, we all have had these awful weeks... I soft bricked my pad, my computer started to play up, my other computer decided it wanted to die after years of hard work and not skipping a beat, my son got the flu, the missus was on her monthly(grumpy wife..take cover), and when I took a break from it all on the toilet I found that we had run out of paper! To make matters worse, my favorite football team lost from a second division team.. This all happened in one single day! So chin up, it might take a week, but when all it's fixed again you'll experience deep appreciation for the things you have taken for granted.... (xda fixed my tablet, time fixed my wife)

K, So first off I took the tablet with extra battery to a tech place in the area that said the batteries are fine, but when they put a multimeter to the motherboard nothing came back. Basically its dead according to them. There's one more shop in the area I want to get a second opinion from. Next, does anyone know anything about an app called "Splashtop Stream"? I'm a fond user of Splashtop to control/view my computer straight my tablet, but when I installed "Splashtop Stream" to use the tablet as an extended screen (not just a cloned second screen), my tablet and both computers I tried it with did NOT like it. I immediately uninstalled it, but it dawned on me that it was just a matter of days later that my Tablet died. I hate to grasp at straws, but if an app like that is too resource intensive, I'm okay with seeing a connection that it fried my tablet. I can't just ask Splashtop "Hey, does your app fry motherboards", so I need a way of researching legitimate known problems. I can't afford a $400 tablet right now.
The reason why I'm using Samsung as a last resort is because it's outside my warranty time, and the moment they know that I did even the simple fast-mod on it, they'll slap it down and won't help. There no custom boot or Roms on it.
With all this said, any suggestions anyone?

I randomly bumped here and I'm no expert, but if your tablet's motherboard is indeed dead, I believe there is absolutely no way they can tell that the device got rooted at some point. You did not "hard brick" it, that's a whole other thing, or at least so I've learned in my not-very-long experience. "Hard brick" should be the result of flashing a kernel made some other device, which definitely is not your case. Moreover, that does not kill the motherboard, it just makes anything unbootable: it's a software problem, so it can actually be detected. You had a hardware failure that most likely completely wiped any proof that you have ever modified your device, so the only problem that you might have, I think, is them telling you that they take no responsibility for what your power outlet has done to the device, but they shouldn't be able to detect any modification that you have made. In my opinion technical support is worth trying.

Just thought Id let everyone know that I managed to get Samsung to compromise on the matter since the Tablet is only 5 months past warranty (1yr 5mnths since purchase). So, not much longer and hopefully Ill have a tablet that works yet again.

Hey all. I now have an imported Galaxy Nexus that won't turn on, here's what happened...
I bought the phone back in April and haven't had a single problem with it until now. On this past Monday I woke up, got ready for work and unplugged my fully charged GNex from my wall charger as I do every morning. On my way to work I popped my GNex into the Samsung car dock to listen to music as I do every morning. When I got to work I popped out my GNex from the dock and sat at my desk for a while. I went to check something on my phone and it felt kinda hot, I thought nothing of it and kept working. Maybe 10 minutes later I checked if it was still hot and it was, uncomfortably hot, and the battery was at like 40% (this was about 40 minutes after I took it out of the car dock).
This made me think that by some chance a program was running crazy in the background, so I restarted my phone. Booted back up, plugged it into a wall charger I have at my desk, and let it sit for about 10 minutes. I then picked it back up and it was still burning hot, now I shut it down again, unplugged it, and pulled the battery out until it cooled down (about another 10 minutes).
Now I popped the battery back in and booted it up. Starts to get hot again and now the battery is at 4%. At this point I think "WTF..." and turn the phone off and let it sit there with the battery in. Keep it in there until the battery completely discharges (the phone isn't hot anymore) thinking that maybe it's having trouble reading the battery stats idk no big deal right? Turns out no, very big deal.
Let it sit there for an hour with no battery in it, then plugged it in and tried to power it on. Nothing. Pulled the battery, popped it back in, and let it sit with the charger in it for 30 minutes. Nothing. The phone isn't getting hot at this point like it was. So I try all the button combinations with the volume buttons and power buttons and still nothing. Even when I plug the phone in the charging battery animation doesn't show up.
When I leave it plugged into the wall charger now, the phone gets a little warm as you'd expect when you charge your phone, not hot like before. I took the phone apart and saw nothing wrong with it, but then again I'm not a hardware guy so I took it to a phone repair shop. He took a look at it and couldn't find anything weird with it either (besides it doesn't work).
In this mess I tried to contact Samsung and take advantage of my "International" warranty but no dice as I'm sure most of you know (this is my $450 lesson). Samsung USA said they won't even fix it if I pay them, I have to do it through Samsung UK which is a nightmare.
The last kick to floor was seeing my credit card charged for the desk dock that I ordered a week before the day this happened. I've ordered a new battery on the off chance that maybe that's the problem, if not I'll be buying another GNex with a US Warranty from the Play Store.
Any bits of hope anyone has for me? Is it even worth my while to ship it off to another phone repair store that says they can "fix it no problem"? Sorry for the long post, everyone always says to post as much detail as possible so I did!! lol. Thanks for reading!!
In the same boat, my Nexus just died today. It is completely unresponsive. Plugging the phone into the computer with no battery will not display any OMAP hardware.
hmm I'm wondering now what is the reason? is it 4.0.4 update? my phone is getting warm after the update too, and the cpu consumes 30% power. but its not too hot, only one area, on the virtual SD card area.
where did you order your GN from? depending on which website... they may "fulfill" your warranty if you're within their warranty time frame.

Off an Amazon retailer, I already checked and they said no :-( I should be getting this battery soon, hopefully that fixes it. I highly doubt it though.
Good news, the website I got mine from(Dailysteals) is willing to do an exchange or refund for me. Surprisingly, I didn't even have to go through a lot of trouble for them to issue an RMA for me. I just had to explain my situation with them about Samsung USA/UK unwillingly to repair the phone.

Mine just bit the dust today as well. Just contacted Handtec and hoping they'll warranty it. It was running just fine up until today and now ODIN won't write to NAND. The same thing that happened in this thread is what happened to my phone:

When I bought it, I remembered that it says 1 year warranty in the description. I mentioned this to them when I explain to them that I can't get it repaired by either Samsung USA/UK.

I just hope Handtec covers it. I've never dealt with their warranty before and I've been trying to find if anyone had any experiences with it. I remember people saying they'd cover it for 24 months which is why I went with them in the first place.

Absolutely. I replaced the batter with the official Samsung extended 200mAh and it turned on, funny thing is though that the same thing is happening again...it still turns on but it's getting super hot and draining almost instantly. The phone shows that it's plugged into power but it says under the battery option that the device is not charging, weird. This is what it shows my battery stats as:

The first death drop in charge is when this all started, the second one is what's happening now. It seems to be charging okay now via PC USB which doesn't make sense to me, cause I tried my wall charger and my car charger earlier and it got super hot and said it wasn't charging.
My phone is getting hot right around the area of the "Texas Instruments TWL6030 Fully Integrated Power Management with Switch Mode Charger" as seen here:

I see. So your phone is draining the battery and not charging at all. Have you considered doing a factory reset? Maybe invest in a battery charger for the time being until the phone starts to charge the phone properly.
Oh, just a follow up on my situation. My NAND is still broken beyond repair. Tried ODIN, OMAP flash, different USB cables, drivers and nothing will write to the NAND. I contacted Handtec and they told me to RMA it to them. So I'm gonna be doing that some time this week. They want original box and everything that came with the phone so I'm trying to gather all of that before I ship it to them. Hopefully the turn around will be quick cause this Galaxy S (which also had a NAND hardware failure and repaired once by Samsung then failed again) is getting old quick.

A month ago I bought a rooted Galaxy Note II second hand. I have had no problems with it until Saturday morning.
On Saturday I plugged it in - it was flat because the battery had ran out of juice from the previous night. I left it off and plugged in. I returned not long after to a slight burning smell, and the phone was roasting hot.
I could turn it on, but it hasn't charged, still showing 1% and cutting out immediately. Any time you plug in within seconds, it overheats.
It has burned in one spot, and burned the battery cover as well.
Obviously I am not impressed, it could have burned the place down if I'd left it on overnight.
However, the device has been rooted, and can be turned on but it will damage it more if you do. It has had a theme applied to it that could only be done with a rooted phone so it is blatantly obvious.
I've put in a support call with Samsung who are going to send out a bag to send it off to them in. I would have preferred to send them an unrooted phone, but obviously not practical and I don't know anyone else with a Note 2. I also don't want to buy replacement components in case I make it worse or damage those.
Anyone faced a similar predicament, and what was done about it?
Well, in this case, a melted phone is very dangerous, they should or must send you a new one just to not report it to the police or the media!
I think the problem was in the battery, it's the only component that can get so hot and even it can explode in some conditions.

Phone is totally flat, and will only turn on when the battery is connected, and it is connected to the mains. It will overheat with a minute.
In Norway, and I assume in the EU too, they have to prove that there is a connection between the broken phone and the fact that it is rooted to void warranty. No worries then if there's similar legislature in your country.

Try buying a spare battery. And then try triangle away. Put the faulty battery back in the phone and send it to Samsung.
It's way cheaper than having to pay for the full phone repair.

This thread's funny. A second hand phone received or bought rooted which could have been using a different kernel, been OC'd, or had any of a laundry list of mods done to it overheats. Since none of that can be ruled out, why is there any reason to alert the media or expect Samsung to be responsible for something that's most likely not a defect but customer induced damage? With millions sold I'd expect more reports of phone's melting if there was some sort of common or repeatable fault. Best of luck OP but your fate will be determined by Samsung's graciousness and not you claiming that a rooted second-hand device somehow combusted on its own having nothing to do with what you or the first owner did to it.
To be fair if it's not charging the battery at all and just overheating/melting the phone it sounds more like a hardware issue than a software one. Something in the charging circuit is screwed up by the sounds of it.

idk if this help, last time my S2 also got some issue so I go to SC and the guy there said that I voided my warranty coz I rooted it.
And that statement made me angry, so I said to him in angry tone: why the hell you say its illegal to root and voided my warranty becoz I root my phone. If that's illegal, why the hell Superuser/SuperSU/any root tools exist in Google Play and Google let it in there for a long time? I bought this phone by my money so I have right to install anything in play store.
Then they unable to say something and fix my phone rightaway and told me to be careful next time.
So, rooting isn't illegal, its in Google Play anyway.

I don't know anyone with an N2 so I can't borrow a battery, I'd have to buy one.
I'll try plugging it just into the computer, I suppose with less power going in, it might not overheat. I've been reluctant to plug it back in.
Phone is running standard kernel, it was only rooted, with a replacement status bar added, and CWM installed. Nothing special.
Ideally, I would need to flash it back to standard though, so I'll need to find out the easiest / quickest way to do this, and, possibly, reset the counter.
I suppose its possible they will refuse to fix it. If I am, that is me massively out of pocket, and I won't be rooting anything ever again, even buying second hand is losing its appeal.
Heck, as I can't afford to replace it, I now may be stuck with this Nokia Lumia 800 I had to buy as an "emergency" phone, which is actually not a bad little machine in many respects (obviously tiny though).

However, the device has been rooted, and can be turned on but it will damage it more if you do. It has had a theme applied to it that could only be done with a rooted phone so it is blatantly obvious.
I've put in a support call with Samsung who are going to send out a bag to send it off to them in. I would have preferred to send them an unrooted phone, but obviously not practical and I don't know anyone else with a Note 2. I also don't want to buy replacement components in case I make it worse or damage those.
Anyone faced a similar predicament, and what was done about it?

Given the near fatal consequences of a battery explosion you shouldnt have any problems Samsung will be much more interested in working out why it happened and avoiding any negative PR about their flagship handset.
However if they can proove that it was the root that caused the burn out (we all know thats not the likely reason) then they may reject the device and tell you it was all your fault. at that point take it to the media.
to me it sounds like the charging circuit has failed and instead of passing charge to the battery its built up in the circuit, mechanical failure can't see how a root would cause that. Were you using the sammy charger, cable and battery?

Yes I did indeed use the original charger and cable (it looks original too, not like a knock off). In general, in the past, I've had issues using chargers mean't for other devices, usually just slow charging though rather than it blowing up.
The fact the phone was turned off when it was being charged suggests to me, like you say, that its a proper hardware fault.
We shall see. I'm waiting for the jiffy bag to send it back, it will be at least 2 weeks till I get it back (maybe longer now with Xmas coming up).

Take a picture of the burned note2 first, maybe you can use it as a "leverage" when the time comes. You know how burned phone have negative impact on products marketing.
ive been having a problem with this phone for a while. it has a problem with turning on and statying on. i will set it on charge while its powered off for atleast two hours, but as soon as i turn it on it will last for about 5 mins and turn off.
i first replaced the battery and it has the same problem. so i replaced the charging port and it was working fine for a few weeks and now its back to the same issue. i cant even get it to charge now
so just trying to figure out what kind of other components it could be
Disclaimer: You're at a more advanced level than I am. I've never done phone repair, and I don't know enough about phone hardware to say if there are other components that could be responsible. I'm a software guy.
That being said, I'll chime in with what I do know, on the off chance that it's actually helpful.
When computers get too hot, they do an automatic thermal shutdown to try to prevent permanent damage. I assume smartphones do this as well. You're on XDA, so there's a good chance you like to tinker. Did you overclock the phone? Overclocking generates more heat, which could potentially lead to a thermal shutdown or permanent damage. Or you might be using or storing the phone in a hot environment.
Have you tried using a different charging cable? Maybe the cable or its connector went bad. You could also test the cable with a different device. Maybe the wall outlet, etc went bad. Did you check the connectors that the battery attaches to, to make sure they're clean?
When you opened the phone to replace the charging port, maybe you didn't put it together quite right, so over time something came loose or got pinched. Desktops and laptops use various types of adhesives such as thermal paste, and computer technicians have to remember to reapply new adhesive when putting a machine back together. Maybe phones use some adhesive too, and maybe you forgot to reapply it?
Hopefully someone more knowledgeable about phone hardware will chime in, but the Incredible 2 section of these forums has been a ghost town lately. That's why I'm giving my two cents. If it were me, I'd just buy a new phone.

well i greatly appreciate your lengthly response. to be honest, it is my mothers phone, which is why i want to try and fix it. i gave her an iphone so she really doesnt need this phone but i would like to figure out what is wrong because i do like to tinker with things. i have tried different chords, wall outlets, usb ports on the pc etc. i will reopen the phone to see if everything is back together, because thats the only thing i can think of from what you mentioned.

sounds like you're either having a battery issue or need to replace your charge port on your phone. its a really simple process all you do is order the port from like amazon or ebay and the old one on your phone just unplugs from your phone circuit board there actually is a tutorial forum in the development page for the droid incredible 2 that gives you instructions on how to do this. hope this was of some help to you and if so please click thanks.

This... it's too much. Okay, a month ago the damned power button got too hard to press in, which should have been a warning that the hardware was getting faulty I suppose. But I downloaded an app that let me use the volume button to turn screen on/off. (I won't say which because I half-blame it, unfairly, for killing my phone
(Sorry, I'm still —mourning! the death of my phone I guess.)
The app was an ugly solution, I guess, but it worked. (I couldn't turn the screen off easily, so I set the screen-off to 10 seconds.) And I hadn't used screenshots in a while so that was no big deal; and my ROM could get me to Recovery easily enough, so screw the power button, right?
But then last night, my phone STOPPED CHARGING! I did a batt pull, tried new cords; turned off every useful app. I even went back to stock ROM, which (even though plugged in) left me with 20% batt. Might as well have bricked it, I guess.
Nothing worked. I was able to turn bluetooth back on so I could use my Air Droid acct to get my on-phone pictures, at least (everything else is safe on the SD), and then I charged it overnight in the wall and hoped for the best.
I was pretty thrilled to wake up to 100% charged! —For a few minutes. As soon as I unplugged it, it started discharging fast, and then not even the wall charger stopped it from discharging.
After brooding, for a few hours, I called Verizon tech. The tech (VERY nice, admittedly) said my Dinc2 was just dead. (Damn they're good: he was more sympathetic than a doctor delivering bad news!!) —But I feel so lost. He offered me a DNA or a Dinc 4G (and some motos and crap), but said my Dinc2 wouldn't be worth fixing. He said the power button alone was a PITA, but the dongle thing you plug the charger into was likely the problem, AND it might be the battery. Maybe he said other problems, but ultimately he suggested some pre-owneds he had for sale (I'm trying to keep my unlimited data plan), or try PhoneKarma.com. (He said he didn't recommend eBay, where they have Dinc 2s, but I'm not sure why.)
So ...do Dinc2s just have power issues after (?) 3 years? I guess that's a pretty good lifetime, but boy is it depressing. (I know — hooked on a damned phone. #Sucks.) I mean, it would be stupid to fix this one, or buy another one, right?

A case might make your power button easier to press. The OtterBox Defender is an excellent case that you can get for $15 used (very good condition), if a new battery successfully fixes your problem.

No, the brand of micro USB cable should not matter. It's a technical standard.
Don't buy a case until you've verified that a new battery actually fixes your problem. If a battery doesn't fix it, it's only a few bucks lost. In that case, I would then get a new phone.
i just came back to this thread after i basically put the project on hold for a while and wanted to see any new suggestions. so after leaving the phone alone for two months, i pluuged the phone in and i saw that orange ligh indicating it was charging. so far so good, im not using it as a primary phone which is good, but that would be my suggestion is to give the phone a rest for a while

I'm at a loss as to what's going on. A few months ago I was changing up my ROMs and went to charge my phone and left the room. When I came back I was smelling that dreaded burning circuit board type of smell. Now none of my stock USB cords work with my stock charger. In fact I have 50 or so USB's and the only one that will still work is an old one from my Samsung device.
Just today I got a quick charge 2.0 and plugged it in and to my surprise it worked! Then about 30 minutes later noticed it was not charging. Hold the phone up to my nose and sure enough I smell a slight burning smell again. Is my device no longer going to be able to charge normally? I can't think of anything else to do. Could it be kernel related? Any help or troubleshooting ideas would be wonderful. Thank you so much guys!
Seems like that is a problem with your phone components not with software.Tell me about your battery life.If you connect your phone to a PC did your phone charge?Did you tried changing your rom with the original one?

Thanks for the reply. PC only would work if the cord being used was one of the 1 or 2 that actually work. I did have a little increased battery drain that seems to be decreasing my battery about 30% or so faster than before. I was going to investigate further, but it wasnt at an alarming rate as of yet. I honestly chalked that up to the ROM. I have Multiboot installed and CM6 is the same...100% hardware issue at this point...just not sure if the root of it started from the kernel or not.
I do have an update though...so it seems the part that burned last night was the final straw and now even the 1 charger that worked won't do anything...seems like I'm dead. Took it into Sprint (I have insurance) and they are going to replace it. Sadly looks like it won't be here until Tuesday. I tweeted Sprint about the issue and they'll be calling me shortly. If my insurance/warranty covers my issue and it's believed to be a defective phone I do not understand why I should be without a phone for 6 days. At the very least give me a loaner...but even that doesn't seem to be the best solution for an issue such as this. Good news is my phone won't take a charge so there's no need for me to try and make sure they can't tell I'm rooted.
Sprint used to be really good about customer service w/ having phones overnighted to your house or in store exchange. Those are distant memories now though.

Having gotten the forced AT&T update with the 60% battery limit, I looked to reverse it. I downloaded the August version of the firmware and put Odin to work.
Things were running along and seemed like my life was once again complete. Due to an unfortunate string of events. (back of computer chair spun, pressing it against a clamp I use for soldering, and hitting the power button... Yes, I know that I have better odds being struck by lightning than recreate this incident) My wonderful Note 7 is no longer speaking to me. I mean nothing. No button combinations, no PC recognition, no charging (although the light comes on on my wireless charger, but not phone), not even a blip goodbye.
I can't believe there's no way to make it respond. I even took off the glued back cover, and disconnected the battery. Zip zilch zero.
Yes I know it's under recall. I know it's playing Russian Roulette with a digital hand grenade. I know that the carriers will soon block it.
But it's the simple idea of "I can do it" is what drives me to try to fix it. I mean really... Isn't that the point of XDA in the 1st place? Take control of our devices? Play, tweak, and customize your gizmo the way you want it to be? Whether or not it's a dead device, I still wanna play with it.
So, if there's any suggestions, please don't hesitate to reply. Obviously I'm afraid of opening up my gadget. Wish there was some other way to force boot or even power up.

I have done almost the same thing to mine it is unresponsive too. The only thing I get out of it is when I plug it in to my computer it dings and shows up under device manager ports/coms as qualcomm. I was wondering is there anything I can do to fix mine I'm New to this hole thing
