[Live Wallpaper] Minima: Moving Material Design! - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Themes and Apps

Found this a couple days ago and its fantastic!
Looks great and scales perfectly to our notes!
You can make your own material like wallpaper with the pro version.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...+live&pcampaignid=APPU_JDCqVOu9MMXXoATY_4KQBw

You guys should try out " Fracta" too. It's the same flat design live wallpaper with a lot of customizations. (from the same producer)

Great find this wallpaper is dope! Thanks!

I tried it and liked it.
I bought the pro version but it makes my device force restart after a few seconds. Had to refund, looked cool though.

Favorite Nexus / ICS feature

I tried searching for something like this but search in app on 4.0 isn't .. working?
Anyway, what is your favorite thing on your new phone? Mine is the camera ... I know people complain about it but its a good camera and the speed and features of piano and time lapse and filters makes this a joy to use.
The other thing is built in screenshots. Holy awesome.

i liked the "disable" feature you could do stock. other then that the screen size is cool.
btw if you like this camera, check out the rezound's. the rezound also has built in screenshots.

Had the Rezound. Battery life combined with sense was too much. I returned it the 12th and waited for the nexus. Camera quality is better on the Rezound, but I enjoy using the Nexus' better

I think we need to be more imaginative here guys. My sgs2 had a better camera and also had screen shots! Let's think of UNIQUE ICS features. Like Face Unlock ...
I like the way it looks - feels sleek and futuristic (phone and ICS both). Previous builds were ugly and looked outdated.
As far as features, I like the potential of on screen keys as well as how it looks. I abhor the non Nexus buttons on all other android phones.
Personally I love the ability to put funny backgrounds in video chat via talk It's hilarious As far as I'm concerned this feature is SGN specific
The screen and the lack of TouchWiz and Verizon bloat...
Has anyone seen John Connor?

Yea, I noticed that too. It is not present on my previous Nexus S with 4.0.3. So is it indeed GN specific ?
Just ICS in general.
Love the multitasking and the new way to add widgets
NFC. Google Wallet it cool

Slimness of the phone and overall physical device.
The on screen buttons. They give the phone a much sleeker look whilst also minimizing the size of the phone. I also like how the buttons can disappear to give a bigger screen when needed.

Love the video effect and the multitask on ICS
Showed my sister the phone and we compared the browsing speed with her Iphone4S.
Galaxy nexus won every single time and she couldn't believe at all - still in denial state.
Must admit her iphone 4s camera is better though. Haha
I enjoy the hardware its self, its sleek and sexy! I also like the curved screen

If I have to pick a single thing then it's the zero shutter delay for the camera. Really love ICS features in general though.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk
The Answer Call screen where I can choose to send preconfigured text messages as reply. GOD BLESS! Uses it several times each day during working hours.
Hardware acceleration.
The recent apps implementation with WebOS-like cards is nice too.
The ability to swipe away recent apps and notifications to get rid of them features prominently on my list.
Resizeable widgets are also nice, and are unique to ICS on phones at least.
Sent from The Past into The Future via The Present.
Zero (almost) delay shutter speed on the camera is a welcome change coming from my DroidX. Wish the picture quality was a little better, but it's not bad. I suppose that's what the SLR is for.
Also, loving Google wallet. So far today, Google has bought me; a cup of coffee, a bag of lettuce and a can of folgers... all for installing the wallet app. It always seems to get an amusing reaction when i use it in front of people. Enjoy the novelty before others start jumping on the bandwagon.

[APP] SPB Shell 3D

This is a sweet app found on the android market. I don't usually talk about apps on the market place. but this one was too cool to pass up and not share.
This is a launcher app. This is way better than the ICS standard launcher.
link: SPB Shell 3D
it's nice, but whenever i press the home key, it takes a while to load before it show up.
what do u think of the price? $15 sounds like alot. I make apps and i feel that this launcher is well worth the money. this thing is just smooth. I had a couple other launchers but i don't know this one is cool.
i have not ran many roms so i don't know if those are better but it's the coolest thing i have used.
i bought this the first day it came out, used it when i had my atrix which was like 3 weeks(hated it) then i stopped using it but now i use it on my old inspire, it's really nice and the widgets are amazing

I feel compelled to agree that the widgets are exemplary. However, the look of the UI is displeasing. You might want to find some reviews or screenshots of the apps (e.g. here )
The one thing that I do not like though is that many of the graphics look low-res
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using XDA App
It's a really nice launcher but I will never pay $15 on a launcher... I don't care about purchasing apps but launcher should never cost more then $6 in my opinion
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
I tried it and don't like it.
Graphic style looks dated and the over-the-top animations serve no function.
I tried it a long time ago. Wasn't a big fan of it. The widgets looked kinda eh...and there wasnt really any theming options. Of course that was a year ago.

Agreed. Stock ICS launcher or launchers built off it like Nova are much better imo.
bought it, refunded it. Really nice widgets and great concept. Very smooth, but the ram usage is ridiculous. If system kills it to free memory it takes like a solid 2 min to load. That killed it for me. That thing would take as much ram as everything I had running including the system combined almost.

Not a fan here. Actually it is very disappointing, I expected SPB to improve or the UI and not simply release it for another OS.
Many moons ago, I used this on my Windows mobile 5 HP6955
it is identical to what they had years ago.
was fantastic back then and really improved the WM5 bland experience.
I prefer more efficient launchers now.

ADW Launcher finally updated!!

They have finally updated this after like 5 years, and its super smooth on this tablet

*yawn* Two years too late.
It used to be great! Seems it still is. I will test it for a bit.
This guy should really implement a better drawer-folder-group implementation.
I got this a while ago during google's 10 cent sale, and got my money's worth on my HTC Magic. Now with this update I'm back to ADW. it looks beautiful, runs great AND let's me do a tablet drawer without changing density or anything. Slim CM and ADW, I'm a happy kid. Its definitely worth trying, remember ADW was the launcher of choice in Cyanogen 7.
Oh how I've missed ADW. Apex is sort of like it, because they always have the the latest and greatest features. Hopefully the dev stays with it
Sent from my Nexus 7 using Tapatalk 2
I used ADW a lot on my Transformer Tablet but moved to Apex after ICS for the newer features. Apex has tablet mode built-in in the Settings>Homescreen options. Anymore launcher themes are universal and there are no lack of choices on any of the major launchers... which was one of the main selling points of ADW.
So while this is a great solution to those who have already purchased ADW in the past, it isn't so great for some who've already moved on to something else.
I will give it a shot though. The video looks like there are some nice features. One thing I loved about ADW was the icon size and font text.
Slightly OT, but just upgraded to the new ADW on my Note/CM10 (from the old ADW), and it is really nice.
Took a while to sort out my settings, but I like it, even better than the old.
Tip: if the dock disappears, add a Gesture to unhide it, and try that.
just read the adw OVERVIEW and it only goes up to jb4.1,so when 4.2 drops its no use

Not necessarily. I don't think there are enough changes on the front end to make this not work with 4.2. The only reason it goes up to 4.1 at the moment is because that's all that's out.

How do you like it so far?

I upgraded from SGS2, aka TMO Hercules. The biggest difference for me is screen resolution. Also battery life and camera have huge improvement.
But for the new features, like eye detect or gestures, I haven't found it practically useful... I have been using it for a week though...
So how do you folks like the s4 so far?
I came from s3. And its awesome.

Also came from the S3. I like the S4 a lot more. The screen is perfection
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda premium
at first i saw videos from reviewers i didnt like the look and material they used, but i went to the store on 8th and played with it, it actually like and feel really nice in hand and decided to return my htc one to get the black s4, pretty happy with my decision
Also coming from the S3 and I had my doubts at first but glad I made the switch. The screen is pretty darn sweet. I'm just missing my choice of ROMs to flash and not having Anthrax kernel anymore like I did on my S3.
Came from the S1 - everything's new.
I came from the HTC Sensation. I'm definitely going to stick with Samsung from here on out. I love the S4. There's a few hiccups here and there, but I'm sure as updates, and new ROMs, come out they'll iron that out. Love the camera and absolutely love the screen. And I definitely prefer the bigger physical size.
Came from an iPhone 5. I don't have to squint to read text anymore that alone made it worth it to me
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
Came from the Evo 3D. In regards to e-mail, I like how it fits all on the screen rather than move it left, right, up, down, etc. I must say this is a BIG improvement, but just like the E3D, no PS3/Wii controller syncs EVER. Hopefully like last time, cyanogen mod can fix it. and unlike last time, here's to less drama and such in the CM realm. T-mobile rocks the house and I'd recommend it, so long as you either order from a T-mo store or online.
I'm a tech geek, came from bunch of phones from my recent upgrade. Note 2 to Z10 to the ascend mate, to this Sexy beast. Next phone to try out is the one. For now, I really like every thing about this phone. The features, the feeling in hand, it just feels great. Fast and smooth system.

i came from the s2 all i can say is wow
I came from the S2 as well and I got this phone last night, and I'm pretty happy with it. I don't have plans to root it anyone soon.
I had about every at&t amd tmobile phone out there. Last phone was htc one . But sold it due to battery life. Got the s4 n fell in love with it . Get about 4 1/2 hrs screen time , and all camera features are nice to have.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using xda app-developers app
I made a huge upgrade from the S2 Hercules. I really love this phone. I havent had any issues at all with. I like to keep all those air and smart features off as I dont really use them.
Sent from my SGH-M919 using Tapatalk 2
Coming from the tmobile G2/DZ/Vision, and all I can say is phone is pretty awesome. I didn't have to root it and uninstall all the crappy apps just to make the phone work like I did with the G2. I did anyways, just because I like what I like. Overall the performance of the phone has been good so far.
I do miss my hardware keyboard though. I have a physical bluetooth keyboard that pairs with the S4 with no issues, but it's just not the same.
Having upgraded from an S2 I'm very torn on my opinion of the S4. Hardware wish I absolutely love this phone. The lager screen, bigger battery, physical home button. But from a software side this thing is a train wreck. The menu layouts are awful, the browser doesn't let you alter any useful settings beyond homepage, the lock screen widgets don't respond to the settings, and that settings menu is totally wacko on its layout, I can't find anything. I like the new gallery layout but it buys the images in an order can't figure out.
To be honest from an OS perspective I hate this phone. My s2 did a much better job.
I felt as if the S4 was more of a side step from the Note 2, Nexus 4. It actually feels laggy compared to them, which was a big surprise. Of course in games it flew but the overall UI feels slow and there is inconsistent stuttering everywhere. Sometimes it will be smooth, sometimes it would lag. Drove me crazy these past days using it.
I thought the 1080P screen was going to blow me away, honestly it doesn't look that much better than the Note 2's display.
I've been also using an HTC One now for the past couple days and I think it's a much better device, it is consistently smooth in every operation, the 1080p LCD screen is MUCH better on the eyes, it feels crisper, brighter and overall much more pleasant to look at.
I will be returning the S4 and keeping the HTC One, probably wait till the Note 3 comes out and see how that goes.
I came from the S3. Totally happy. Some were saying it wasn't a worthy upgrade but I say otherwise. Better battery, better screen, and just sexy as hell

Sound quality is screwed up, severe noise and crackling, I get it on my UE900's. Going to see if the One has the same issue, since it's on the same DAC.
So frustrating.
came from the S3, all I can say is I love this phone the only thing I don't really like is the keyboard
but other than that this phone is completely awesome!

Ulysses Speedometer Pro

For those of you who bike, motorcycle, hike or use your NOTE II for music AND gps in your car.......this is the best app "I" have found and or used.
