Any news guys on lollipop

I'm using resurrected remix which is running 5.0.2.

Not officially. The G3 is available but there's reports of issues. That's going to delay it even longer.

That and when it does hopefully it will have all the fixes in it.

These bloggers that write those kinds of articles that say absolutely nothing are annoying.

Beanstalk Harmony Build

Hey guys I'm fairly new to the developing community. I'm putting together a build for the optimus g pro e980. It is built from beanstalk sources with a few changes by me. All credit will go to Scott.hart.bti. I will update this post as well as open a thread in the android development section after I have finished the build. Feel free to request to test here and I will upload the build once I run it personally for a while.

What changes are different from beanstalk? I'm running beanstalk as the battery life is great for my phone. So can you go in detail as what your ROM will bring?

@mrfeuss @903tex
Here it is. Please feel free to leave comments or ask questions. Nova is the default launcher and the DPI I set lower than the stock value so you can edit the dock properties in the launcher settings. Cheers
Instructions:
-Download .zip
-Backup
-Full wipe (dalvik , cache, system, factory data reset)
-Flash
-Install gapps from pre installed goo (for some reason it defaults to 4.1.2 so make sure you get 4.3 gapps. I'll post a link to those shortly.)
-Enjoi

Running pretty well so far. Anything I need to know to get a wallpaper to show up? I've tried setting one a few times and I've still got a black background. Otherwise it's running very well! Nice work

I don't have an issue setting it. Did you wipe fully before installing?

Just tried another clean wipe of everything and still the same issue. I might try another launcher to see if there's a different issue going on.
Thanks again!
EDIT: Verified MD5's to be sure I didn't get a bad download. Tried using Apex and still unable to set a wallpaper. I'm going to try wiping caches and fixing permissions. Fingers crossed!

Hmm. I honestly don't know what it could be. I'll get you a stock framework-res to flash without the wallpapers in a bit. Gotta catch my train

You should post this in the gen Dev forum. ROM runs really well! I've tried them all and this is one of the best. Is it based off of official cm10.2?

I think he just means that 4.4 (Kit Kat) offers performance improvements over older versions of Android.

Because LG changed things with the ZVC update and Loki is totally out the window without a aboot downgrade and custom kernel for a custom recovery. Like I said in your other thread (cause this has been covered about a hundred times) search and read

Really? Nothing here like a custom 4.4.2 touchwiz running S5 apps and has the N3 features? Hard to believe no one here on xda would make a cool rom like that. Guess it is time for a new device.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Which are you referring to? I only see 4.3 and all 4.4.2 are aokp/aosp... I only prefer touchwiz because of the features and sound is crazy loud on speaker.

Here is an unofficial build, and after yesterdays post it looks as if the Note 4 isn't getting any official love anytime soon. Hope this helps!
