Your warranty is now void.
I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards, thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam work together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and you can stop by the public Gerrit to submit patches of any type.
SlimLP is currently in alpha / beta stage, some custom features are already in place, but much much more is planned for the future.

Man i am a big fan of slim and liquid from my lg g2 days, but man dont know if i can deal with the bugs and set up on every reboot. Can wait for this to get iorned outn

No worries bud these are alphas WIP we've got some work to do but for the most part things are working very well....

Man, I am so effin geeked! I just left my SGS3 (SPH-L710) in favor of the Note 4 (SM-N910P}. I've had Slim on my S3 for over 2 years and I've been chomping at the bit and checking the forums and device d/l pages each day, hoping to see this. Woo hoo!

Just to make sure i am clear on the install, only need to do the sms and time fix right guys.

Yeah install is fine has the texts bug but also has a small lag in settings and has a issue mounting external sdcard.... Or at least it did when I was running it..... Granted it did not very over in recovery or even restoring.... But while in the rom I couldn't access my external sdcard.... Now if you flash and don't have this problem please do inform me... Also if you happen to figure out the issue before I do please inform me as well... Lol... Much thanks... Other than that worked great looked great and was everything slim has always been... But another thing to take into consideration is it's an alpha so expect to find bugs

Lol... Just when I though I was about to go to bed....... Thanks again spleef!

@spleef Thanks for bringing these popular CM based ROMS over to our Sprint Note 4.

More features than liquid?
Sent from my SM-N910P using XDA Free mobile app

Nope could not get the ext sd card to mount.

My note my slow loading baterry and off is freezes and not light . I have to let it down like 2 minutes after the power button and turns there is a solution for that?
sorry my language

Installs fine on twrp 2.6.3 (no errors), but it hangs at Samsung Note 3 screen for a while. Then eventually boots. It gets stuck at boot animation. I tried it once with Gapps and once without. CWM seems necessary.

Well my tester got back to me and it doesn't boot so i have uploaded a older build that does boot, but has a little bit more bugs. for now that will do until i can fix the audio-caf errors i am getting.
If anyone would be willing to help that would be wonderful, we track are own audio-caf for a strict-aliasing fix, and merge in cm's changes the errors i am getting are these:
hltetmo: http://pastebin.com/AwDkTvYT
hltespr http://pastebin.com/iFR9mygR
repo is located here: https://github.com/LiquidSmooth/android_hardware_qcom_audio-caf
Looks like cm team committed some updates wonder what they fixed

Oh boy !
i am so happy to see this ROM !!
I will flash as soon as i have a chance !!
And have the same question as @jpeps , where do i get CWM ? is there a thread for it yet ? if so, havent seen it...
I see the thread here and also in the 9005 forum.. For Canadians which would be better to flash?
Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
Tested today, flashed through CWM x2. First time with GAPPS and second w/o. The first time I was constantly getting dropped signals, sending SMS worked fine and WiFi also dropped continuously. The second time I was experiencing the same but it was happening less often.
Twrp works guys just make sure you have the newest one
Sent from my SM-N900T using Tapatalk
I second the TWRP post above. I have 2.6.3.8 and it installed fine for me. First boot took alittle while at the Samsung screen but after the first boot, boot times were rather fast. SMS, data, audio (albeit low volume), work fine. No calling (which we all know doesn't work), random reboots when changing settings from time to time. All options work great (i.e. Halo, Dark settings, Navbar, Themes, etc.). I installed PA Google apps and all seems to work fine. Will keep checking other things and post more as I run across them. Great work and thanks again for all the hard work and dedication. I'm sure I am speaking for many when I say it's nice to see this much progress for our N3..:good:
I'm confused...Do I flash the beta in the op or the one in the link a few posts down?

You can try both, but the one in the comments can boot successfully, the beta is a hit or miss. Don't take my word for it though, I'm not flashing until it's a tad more stable .

I flashed the beta in the OP. As far as I know they are one in the same. It takes you to a directory where there are three versions (Sprint, T-Mobile and the 9005 I think). Should be 3.0 beta from the 28th last I checked..

I have to just say Wow! Super impressed with how well this rom works. I cannot believe how fast it is. Obviously it's not ready to be a daily driver & I didn't notice any bugs that haven't been reported. Keep up the good work guys & thank you very much for sharing this.
I flashed this on my Canadian SM-N900W8 Galaxy Note 3 and it looks to be working well!
Bugs :
- No camera
- No Calling
- 5 Signal bars are always empty
- Battery Charging Animation weird or make Sys.UI crash
- First Boot incredibly long (Might not be an issue though, but it is longer than Stock with Touchwiz)
- Status Bar in launcher is not well sized and is not transparent. (Same for bottom)
Otherwise it is INCREDIBLY FAST! Touchwiz to hell!
I am going to flash Touchwiz again because I need calling, but as soon as it gets fixed, I will be right back!

here is a little step by step of sorts to help anyone wanting to get in on the fun
first you need to initialize a build environment...not going into detail there cause there are multiple threads and sites that can service you there....soo...once you have a build enviro. set up...
open a terminal
type :
cd cm (or what ever you named your directory to build from, mine is called cm so ill refer to it as that some name it android)
now you need to download the sources for cm so...
type:
repo init -u git://github.com/CyanogenMod/android.git -b cm-12.0
let it do its thing ....once it finishes you will need to place a roomservice.xml in the cm/.repo/local_manifests directory ..... i am building for sprint so mine will be a little different if you are building for another variant ..... but ill post it to serve as an example of what you need
my roomservice.xml
once you have the roomservice.xml for your device in the local_manifests directory....you are ready to sync...so now...
type:
repo sync -j6 (i use -j6 but basically the number here represents the number of jobs your computer can handle ...the better the computer the more you can handle but choosing too high of a number will make everything sluggish and will take longer...using -j6 works for me yours might be higher or lower)
so now its syncing it will take a few so can watch it scroll or come back n a few to check on it....once syncing completes....you can begin to build if everything is in place....so...
type:
. build/envsetup.sh
type:
breakfast (the name of your device goes here)(could be trltetmo, trltespr) so if doing sprint....will be
breakfast trltespr
type:
brunch (the name of your device goes here)(could be trltetmo, trltespr) so if doing sprint....will be
brunch trltespr
now it will begin building and you can either watch the progress or walk off and come back and check on it... mind you there could be errors then you will have to scroll through or search for them and fix them... hope this helps a bit
things of interest:
User @bttfpromo says you can return the stock cursor (instead of the mouse pointer) with these instructions.
User @DragonAndLance posted a link to boost the in-call sound for those who feel that the defaults aren't high enough.
If you don't like the default screen density, @slayher points out that the following adb command will change it: adb shell wm density 515. Note that these changes will "stick" to the next boot.

Nice to be seeing some 5.0 love for the Note 4, cant wait for data and network connection to be worked out.
So no data? Oh can't wait till this issue get fixed.
Sooo excited...
Glad you got the ball rolling for the Sprint variant Spleef. Good luck and I'll be watching for progress to be made.
Having flashed CM12 on my GS4, I excitedly & patiently wait to experience AOSP on the N4 as well.
Just finished a build using fresh 12/15 cm & device sources.... Am going to test before uploading... Got with slayher and he made some adjustments to the ril hopefully this fixes the no cellular service issue

no dice guys it is better which means some of the settings menus that wouldnt come up do now but no matter the option you pick it doesnt change no cellular service...says baseband unknown and my imei and phone number are blank.. would be good if someone could lend a hand in this so ive updated the link in the downloads section to reflect my public dropbox, in there i have uploaded the build from today... if anyone one is willing download it and see if you can help figure this out...much thanks and remember to make a backup before flashing
Could anyone answer a couple questions I have. Is the boot loader locked on the note 4 and I thought this would stop you from installing cm on the device. I am wanting to come back to android and the note 4 is my only option right now but I hate touchwiz. Will the note 4 see full development from CM?

From what I've read that means you're losing the EFS folder containing your IMEI number when you flash it. Maybe try to flash it, then fix using this guide and see if you can regain functionality?

Support on this thread is for LiquidSmooth ROM related issues only.
While we do not mind helping, its getting impossible to sort through issues that are ROM related or not. Persistent non-ROM related issues are best suited for the Sprint Galaxy Note II Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting Section.
Below is a few things I would appreciate you list when you are having issues so we have as much information as possible when trying to help you with your problems.
Is this a Clean flash
Is this the stock kernel
What firmware revision are you on
What gapps package are you using
Have you had this issue on other ROMs
Do you have any apps that change/modify system preferences (Xposed, etc)
Do you have any task killers installed
If you are having app issues, are they running off of internal memory or extSdCard
saved
Nice!
Storage
Has anyone experienced a weird partitioning? Says I only have 457MB available but only shows maybe 2-3 gbs of space that's taken up. My internal storage bar shows 3/4 available....
Also where is a file manager?
Just finished downloading. Need to charge my battery before installing. Excited to try out a Lollipop ROM. When I downloaded Gapps I had to correct the link.

Best practice is to format /data/media (internal sd).

Found this on Verizon thread.. works for all devices.

So far so good
Been up and running for approx. an hour testing here and there. I had to use the fix supplied by the snazy user above ... jlmancuso (thank you kindly) As stated data takes a minute or two to get picked up and kick in but it does work here and not to sporadic.
Other than the GPS issue everything else seems to be good to go. I will confirm that Native Tethering DOES work!!! It is one of the first things I tested as it is a deal breaker on a daily driver for me.
Great work cant wait for more custom options.
Very snappy ROM, but after a few hours (nor sure what I did) my phone went into a boot loop. Getting ready to wipe to reinstall.
Gapps and SD card
Please point me in the direction of the gapps. And I don't know why a few roms back i lost access to the SD card. I have a 64 fat 32. It reads in my unrooted tablet fine. Just wondering any insight to this and if it's bc of the upgrade in os. Please help and can't wait to flash

Runs great. I like the dark UI and viper mod.
I also found out that in accessibility the color correction mode works decently if you choose the middle one. Red/green I believe. Not perfectly accurate but good.
I thought I was doing something wrong when I couldn't open developer options haha.

I'm sorry but I can't seem to find the download for 5.0. Link takes me to Dr Devs with old versions listed. Let me know. Thanks, Can't wait to try.
Edit: Never mind I didn't check nightlies

I like this ROM. I know it is still a test ROM. Some issues I have is random liquid smooth live screen saver that is really annoying. The music audio is fantastic. I have issues with Bluetooth when making a call and the call hangs; GPS is not at best but works. Looking forward to the next nightlies for bugs fixes. Good job to the developers for their hard work.

okay rom is now uploaded onto basketbuild. Please follow link in post 2.
i recommend clean flash from another rom as usual. If dirty flashing in the future there is no necessity to flash gapps again, however sometime i do notice supersu goes a bit funny so i would recommend reflashing supersu just to be safe. failing that you can just install it again from market and cause it to update via openrecovery script.
awesome !!! love this rom on my N6 . and now also on my N9 thanks !!!
Currently going through 2nd attempt at flashing. Used 64-bit GApps and linked SuperSU. Followed instructions for coming from another ROM. 20 minutes passed without a boot so I'll attempt again without flashing SuperSU until it (hopefully) boots up and I complete the setup screen.

Guessing it went well this time round might make a change to the op to not recommend SuperSU flash on clean flash
I know the change log is on the device once you flash the ROM. But I would like to know the changes that have been made besides what is in CM12 already.
Err... Far to many to list. Notification tweaks, button tweaks, stylus options, status bar options as well as others in temasek spare parts. That is a cm12 theme the standard colors would be regular cm in the attached screenahot
Does LTE work on this ROM?
Alright. Thanks man. I'll just flash it and play around
Edit:: Flashed it. Everything running great. One thing I have been looking for in several ROMs is the ability to put the nav bar on one side while in landscape. I kinda sucks having the bar at the bottom of my screen when it would be much more convenient right by one of my hands whole holding in it landscape. Is that possible here or in any rom yet.

My apologies for the late response, I fell asleep earlier than normal.
It never ended up getting to the setup screen. I wonder if this has something to do with the format of the system partition.

Reverted the bootable cm commit that was pointing to a register.inc for a 32 bit executable
. the one I highlighted to you about a week ago. Just tracking my own bootable for now.

I was! I figured it must have been that because I remember changing it from F2FS to ext4 when development for the N9 was still in early stages.
The ROM runs amazingly now though! Awesome job! Will report feedback if any issues arise!

I see some apn data in there that is required for LTE service to work yet I don't see a specific commit for it as Zawata did for his device tree.

Great to see a new rom for the Nexus 10 and can't wait to take it for a spin. Will you be updating this to 6.0 or plan on keeping it a stable 5.1? Thanks for the work on this!

There is a plan to update to Android M.
Thank you very much. I am downloading now.
"Chance Favors the Prepared"
What an awesome rom. The kernel provided is very responsive and there was no lag what so ever in this rom. It was really surprising actually as I am used to flashing a kernel to get this.
I had only one problem and that was no sound at all. This was probably something that I did wrong and later today will uninstall and reflash again. This was a clean flash and wipe of system, cache, dalvik cache, and data. I will also supply logs when I reinstall again later today.(if this problem persists).
Thank you for giving us another choice for this aging tablet.
"Chance Favors the Prepared"
Great new love for our nexus 10!
Will try it for sure, soon.
Thanks

Here is a link to my Google drive with 3 different log dumps. I hope you can find something to help out. I did another clean install and I still have no sound. Also, if I try to open Google settings to adjust my voice settings, it crashes. I installed nothing except the rom and gapps. I tried to get the provided gapps but the link keeps coming up with no files. So I used TK gapps 5.1.1 micro this time and the pico version the first time I flashed and set this up. I flashed with latest TWRP. wiped both caches and system and data.

Other than the no sound, this is the fastest, smoothest ROM I have run to date on this tablet. Blazing fast.
Yes indeed this is quite awesome to see a new rom for a great tablet. Thank you dev

You sure? Brings up a blank page for me...
Edit: figured it out. For some reason the text on that page is invisible. It only shows when hovering over it my mouse.
I seems to have come across an odd issue. I don't have any sound whatsoever.
Install Process:
Adv. Wiped System, Cache, Data, Devlik
Install ROM + Mini Gapps (recommended GApps varient)
Reboot System
Everything booted great, runs clean like a champ, just no sound.
Has the ROM been pulled from the OP?
