BS was one of favorite ROMs on my S3. Can't wait to get some Scott on my N4! Thank you Mod57! I knew someone was going to port this.
Edit: Able to send/recieve text, but not recieve/make phone calls, I hear a low sound ring coming from the phone but it does not show anyone is calling me. When I place a phone call, I get no sound. I am getting data though.
Sorry, you are right my 5.0009 build the phone worked great. I did a new build to post here 5.0015 and no sound as reported. I'll try to get it sorted out tonight. The US Cellular version here is 5.0009 so it should be ok.

I reverted back to slayher's previous qcom_audio. That should fix the phone till CM gets it fixed up for us. I'll put together a new build tonight. A person reported in the tmo thread that hangouts dialer works. I haven't tried it myself but may be worth a try.

Have you tried the fixes for other lp Roms try this.... Dial *#*#4636#*#* switch to CDMA auto prl let it sit for a bit/wait a minute... Switch to LTE/CDMA auto prl this should kick start the radio into CDMA and your texts should start working again.... Though you probably will still have to use a third party apk I would recommend Google messenger is damn close to stock messenger.... But all in all it works most importantly
Wonderful build @Mod57 easily in top 5 CM12 ROMs, only thing thats blowing me is the native dialer not working, it hangs on dialing & hanging up, any suggestions @spleef, @drcrimzon?

Kinda depends on the source he's using... And how stable the BS sources are it could simply be an issue upstream with BS or the difference in trees.... But mod is extremely good at what he does won't be long until it's sorted
I used spleef's source to build the Sprint version and my own for US Cellular. For the USC and TMO builds reverting back seems to worked. It could be it caused other issues on the Sprint build.

Nope. Just the ROM. The JFLTE builds are compatible with all S4 variants except i9500.

Nope. It's automatically loki-patches the kernel for all locked bootloader variants. So you may flash away.
This ROM has everything I need and it's running smoothly! Excellent work. The only request I'd have is the return of an option for the old, standard recent apps switcher, but that's just a personal thing.

I know I saw somewhere, that art either will not work with this rom or it's not recommended, but has anyone tried running with it?
I've used art on virtually every kit kat rom I've run and have only had an issue with the most recent aicp build.

This ROM is intense. Packed full of features. Halo, Pie, Omniswitch, etc
Went back to CM11 but not because this is a bad ROM, it just was not for me. Very overwhelming for me. I prefer a light AOSP experience.
Also, the only bug I found was the whole system went to a crawl after enabling Nav bars. And they took a whole second to respond to touches.

Anyone having problems with the camera? Like are all the features working? Cause the camera is pretty important to me so I have been sticking to Google edition Roms because the cameras are guaranteed to work on them. I have had bad experiences with cameras on AOSP Roms sorry for doubting the experience.

Team decided to take out pie because not working correctly and kernel doesn't have dt2w.. Its in the rom but kernel doesn't support it.. The feature list is a generic list for the team.. Sorry

Ahh OK thanks. I did notice one thing though. I disable the quick unlock in security but when input my pin in it auto unlocks.

Yeah that worked, thanks.
I saw a couple other things. This first one might be a CM bug, BBS says WiFi is using battery even though WiFi is turned off. Second the the font is black for the options.
I don't have that problem with WiFi. The team knows about the black text.. Not that big of an issue.. Concentrating on 5.1

Second build of Validus rom is available
So after three errors sim got unlocked on latest slimlp (29/05) but touchkeys didnt work. [emoji28]
On latest validus i managed to unlock my sim after about 20 error messages so i could atleast deactivate sim pin on my phone without switching sim card.
So i guess you need to be lucky to get it unlocked.

@matrixzone, is there a way to increase the number of SMS sent per hour before receiving having to confirm each message sent? In some ROMs, I've found the option in Settings > Security.

another quick feedback - the messaging app that comes along does not seem to handle conversation specific notification. (ie, turn off/turn on notifications for specific threads/senders) - I tried using "Messenger" from Google, it somehow did not work - I had to use either the built-in messaging app, or hangouts. (did not venture out long enough to try textra etc..)

Thankx sir for this ROM....
All features are there which are there in custom lp ROM (cyanide,etc...) In earliest face of mm...thanjx
But only one thing reverted from using this ROM -sim card doesn't get detected.

It'll be fixed in the next build.
Dropping tomorrow,fixed the SIM,mobile data works (2G/3G),Daylight theming implemented,new bootanimation,added more features.
Keep an eye on vrtoxin.net under Downloads/armani for the next 6 hours.

Yes,but I used the old kernel (this one to be exact - https://github.com/armani-dev/android_kernel_xiaomi_armani) because the new one is still wip.I'll use the new one once it's stable enough.

So aren't you using the new kernel based on LA.BF.1.1.3_rb1.5,are you?I've seen this here https://github.com/armani-dev/android_device_xiaomi_armani/wiki/CM13.0-Changelog at the R4 related lines

The same here.
Both SIMs recognized without problem, but no data connection.
AP defined correctly.
