[Q] Hebrew Keyboard Android 4.4.2 & 5.0.0 - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everyone
I'm opening this post because i would like your help to understand once and for all the subject of HEBREW in Android Lollipop and KitKat.
I have a few LG G3 D855 Phones (Ver 10O & 20F Stock ROM).
Some ISR (Israel) Model, Some EUR, SEA, TWN etc...
The G3 ISR model have Hebrew keyboard and all the menus can also be in Hebrew if users want to.
But the EUR\SEA\AME\TWN models can't add Hebrew Keyboard from the STOCK ROM KEYBOARD LIST.
I installed MoreLocale2 and PM the SEA, EUR, TWN Models. the GUI changed to Hebrew and the entire device is in Hebrew.
BUT, users still cant add HEBREW KEYBOARD from the keyboard list. so they can't type in Hebrew.
Can someone explain to me why users cant add Hebrew to the keyboard list?
how come all the menus in the phone are in Hebrew but you cant type in Hebrew?
I can solve it by installing any keyboard from "Google Play" that support Hebrew (Go Keyboard, AI Type etc...) but i don't want to do that.
is there anyway to add just HEBREW KEYBOARD to the list?
- Can i extract it from the ISR (Israel) ROM and install it on G3 EUR\SEA\TWN Phones like .APK file?
- If i'll install the ISR ROM on the EUR device and PM the device after morelocale2 will it have Hebrew keyboard then?
- Google press release docs says that since Android 4.3 HBEREW is built in inside Android so why is the keyboard missing?
Thank you.

Are all the phones running complete LG stock firmware?
I guess if they are all running the same firmware version, the Hebrew keyboard layout is supposed to be available on all phones.. Weird..
- Could you look on the G3 ISR phones if there is any sort of app that indicated an add-on to the keyboard? Like "Hebrew Layout" app? This would only be visible in the Settings > Apps window since it's now a real app
If there is such app available, you could extract the .apk from the ISR phone and install it onto the EUR phone. Google on here on how to do that.
- Are all the phones on the same firmware version? Could you please say what versions they are running all? (ISR model and EUR model).
Also, an alternative solution: I know it's a longshot but you could try contacting LG's support asking why they did not include it onto the EUR models, maybe they did it on purpose and we don't know about it. If you're going to contact LG support you could do the community a favor and share your solution on here!
At last, please post questions in the future in the Q&A subforum

I have many EUR\TWN\SEA\AME. Some on FW 10O and on 20F.
The problem is the same in both models and FW version
About the Apps.
@ SETTINGS ---> GENERAL ---> APPS ---> RUNNING APPS
I have LG Keyboard. (1 Process and 3 Services)
Services:
RMUpdateReciverService
resourceManagerService
LG keyboard
Process:
com.lge.ime
is it possible that the .ime means that it contain HEBREW KEYBOARD?

[Q] F180K Firmware Update and Other Problems

Hi all.
I've recently purchased an LG Optimus G (F180K) through an online reseller. The phone was unlocked and works on my local carrier. Please excuse me if the following problems have already been answered in other forums but this is my first smartphone (moving from a Nokia XPressMusic 5530) and I'm having difficulty understanding all this talk about flashing and basebands and what not.
I want to know how to update it to Jelly Bean since Android 4.1.2 has already been released for the F180K in South Korea. Software Update reports that I'm using the latest update available. I see that there are stock 4.1.2 ROMs available for the F180K in the forums. Would installing that be different from updating through official channels? Also, my lockscreen shows the dual roaming clock and I am unable to change it as the settings are greyed out when I check under Global Roaming. Does anyone know how to change this? I've searched around and someone suggested to manually edit settings.apk or something similar to that but I don't know how to go about it. Lastly, I want to get rid of the pre-installed Olleh apps and remove the Korean characters from the dialler. It would also be nice to get English versions of QVoice and the other LG apps.
I would really appreciate it if someone could walk me through these things. Thank you very much in advance.

[Q] Galaxy Note 2014 (china firmware help)

Greetings, few days ago I was in China and bought GN 2014. As most of you know in China they block access to play store and install their own firmware. I already rooted my device, and was wondering how I can enable all languages, because currently, there are 3 languages. And also, How to install play market on it. I tried downloading apk. file, but its not working (Installed but won't open)
Help please. (Sorry if this question is too noobish)
I think that the device then has no Google license, making it impossible. There are only the various other stores.
This is definitely the case with exotics, like car stereos(Parrot Asteroid). In this case theres probably a solution, which of course requires root.
Why don't you try to flash with ODIN some of the official ROMs ? Then you will have no need of ROOT and will have all the languages. What is the model name exactly ?

Flashing an other stock firmware works fine I did it on mine.
But expect some little lag there wasn't on the chinese firmware.
I'm in China too and am considering buying the Note 10.1 so I'll be facing the same problem.
With a Chinese friend's Asus Transformer Prime, I flashed an official Taiwanese ROM so that she could access Google Play, but with this method you no longer get OTA updates. Also, as mickmad noted above, you can sometimes get unpredictable performance issues if you use ROMs intended for another region. Only later did I find that you could just install the necessary Google apps while keeping the original ROM. Here's a method devilfun here on XDA used for the Prime, perhaps it will work with the Note:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=21094128&postcount=11
The .rar referenced was a package of Google apps, I think. I haven't checked the package myself, but note that you probably need GoogleServicesFramework.apk and Googleloginservice.apk in addition to the obvious ones. Simple_noob may have been unsuccessful for any one of several reasons:
1. The apks were copied to the wrong location before installation.
2. Not all the necessary apks were copied.
3. The necessary file permissions were not set.
If you can work it out, let us potential Note buyers in China know how you did it!
Well when i said more lag I meant that other region firmwares have all the samsung apps which tends to produce some little lag (where chinese firware has only a limited part of these samsung apps.)
Really no big deal as it will be corrected in future versions I am sure (see the example of mk1 firmware for p600)
Not sure for OTAs thought, but i never waited for them anyway on my other devices.
And just to got the samsung keyboard (and not the one for chinese which is different) it already worst the change .... plus getting rid of chinese useless apps, some settings which weren't in english even the language was set to english ... choice between almost any language ... and so on
Thanks a lot to everyone who replied and helped.
I installed needed firmware and everything works perfectly

I have the same case as yours. I am planning to do the same as you did. Can you help provide the steps on how to flash another stock firmware for Note 10.1 P-601 model? Which region/country firmware did you use?

Just follow these steps :
1, Download any region / country rom from this link , preferable MJB being the latest. http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=SM-P601.
2. Extract the downloaded zip file.
3. Extract the attached odin 3.09.
4. Enter download mode by pressing power+volume down , then volume up.
5. Connect your PC/Laptop to your Note , wait till the com port turns blue.
6. Flash the .tar file of the rom through "AP" & hit start.
7. Wait till flash is complete, & note restarts.
8. You now will have a working PLAY STORE.
other download links or torrents for official firmware
Great info supplied in the above posts ! I also currently have a P601 bought in China and would like to change the firmware but the rapidgator and terafile links aren't working so well for me.
Terafile now has a limit of one Gig for free users and rapidgator downloads keep failing mid way.
Does anyone have any torrent links or other download links for the official firmware?
Thanks in advance.
Hello,
I'm interested as I'm in the same case. Where can I download a good English version (wifi +3G)?
Buy a Samsung tablet from the US (or Europe) next time!

I don't know about hebrew, but you can try rooting it with towelroot and use morelocal2 from the playstore to unveil more languages. Which model is it ?

HERE the guides:
You need to do hard rest and turn on the device like for the first time..
But you have to use Isreali sim in isreal with reception form isreali Carior....
Other option is a cool script to enalbe the Morelocal2 without root!
(from 4.2.2 morelocal2 need root this script past it without root working great on LG G2-G3 , S3-S4, BUT not on US devcies by samsung the remove non USA lang...)

SM-N920A, firmware and language

Hello,
Just got a hold of a AT&T Note 5. From what I have read so far, I understand you cannot use a different firmware without bricking the phone. On my version, there is only a handful of languages available, which is very different from the regular Android versions I have encountered. Is there a firmware available for this particular model that have more languages?
Thanks.
How to add Langugage (Russian) ?
Please help me to install Russian langugage to Phone Settings !:плач::плач::плач:

I believe this is an internal debloating process decision since the AT&T phones was only made for use in the United States anyway. It seems as though you are out of luck, since rooting isn't an option, so you may have to buy another rootable Note5 (or phone)

Asking Font file for both latin language and Korean language

Hello everyone,
I'm Peter, a vietnamese guy living on Korean.
Because of my business, I got a lot of Korean messages and Vietnamese messages at the same time.
currently I cannot found a font file support for both languages. Is anybody can help?
Have you tried these custom resources? UTF-8 should contain all characters.
No i don't
Because i'm using Iphone. Do you have Other guide for Iphone?
Sorry, no idea about iPhone. All guides and apps I saw are for Android. Maybe you could try using someone's Android phone or Android emulator on the PC just to update the Mi Band FW and resources..? Though not sure if the official Mi Fit app won't force the offical FW/RES to the band.
