[Q] Manage Bluetooth connections with Zooper? - Zooper Widget General

Lately I've had a need to switch what bluetooth device I'm connected to pretty often and was wondering if there was a way to use Zooper (possibly with Tasker) to create a widget that would show all my bluetooth profiles and then connect or disconnect to each one by tapping them? Getting tired of going through Settings -> Bluetooth etc to change

Few questions

Can I turn off the automatic wifi to Gprs when there is no wifi? or is there a manual switch. I seem to find I loose my wifi connection and then it jumps to gprs, where I dont want to do that.
Also is there any way of knowing how much I have downloaded or uploaded? or any good tools that you know will help me with this?

If I want to listen to MP3 music while its in my pocket, how do I lock the buttons and screen while listening to music?
many thanks
Hi zakeen.
I had the same problem - I wanted to manually turn on the gprs.
I posted this on the Networking Thread recently:......
------------------
I have found where I can stop it from connecting the GPRS if it cant get a wi-fi conncetion. Connections icon on the connections tab (under settings), then the advanced tab, then the select networks button - "programs that automaticall connect to the internet..........". I have changed this from gprs to my isp.
------------------
I use this for the GPRS download tracking.

And you can lock the buttons by going into the settings menu and selecting system tab, then the button lock icon.
Hope this helps
Ian
Thanks I will have to try this GPRS pro, sounds good looking at it.

Any APP or Script to select a default Wireless server ?

Hi,
I wonder if anyone has encounter this issue with WM6.1:
The Comm Manager has no option to set a default for the defined Wireless Server.
Say if there are 3 "defined" profiles for wireless server available (Wifi detection), at home or as work for example, the device will connect to one of them, but we cannot set a default one.
There is no-way to set a "don't-detect this server anymore" either, so delete it will make it reappears after wifi detection.
So has anyone found a way, in WM6.1, to set a default Wireless server to connect the WIFI to, when there are several Wireless Access Points available ?
Say if I have several wireless modems all running, and I all setup a profile for each.
How do you set a Default ?
Thanks very much.

[Q] different mail synchronization settings for WiFi and GSM

Hi
I wonder if there is a way / application which I can use in order to have a different email synchronization settings for the time I have WiFi connected and when I don't.
I wish to use something like "immediate synch" for the time I connect to a WiFi net and when it doesn't exist (and then use my GSM) - to set it for "1 hour" or so.
Many thanks for your help!

Create widget/shortcut to wifi clients

I connect my phone to several wifi clients & wanted to know if there is a way to create a widget/shortcut to connect it to the appropriate client without having to do it from the settings menu?
And while I'm at it is there a way to remove any unneeded wifi listings that show up? Example my phone will pick up all my neighbors wifi signals & since I have no need to connect to them, there really is no need to have them show up.
As of now my phone is picking up 8 wifi signals from my surrounding neighbors. The only option is "connect" but nothing for "forget"
Anyone?
I was able to create a shortcut to Wifi settings itself, but I would like a widget or shortcut on the home screen for each as follows:
Wifi Home
Wifi GoFlex Satellite
Then I can simply press on whatever widget/shortcut I need & connect to that particular network.
I can't be the only one with this request (Or am I?)
Well I guess it can't be done. I've searched all over the net & nada.
If you have multiple Wifi access points remembered in your settings, you can turn on Wifi with the notification toggle and just let it auto-connect to whatever is closest.
If that doesn't work for you, try Tasker. You can set up automated connections (depending on your nearby cell tower), a menu of options, or other methods. It'll cost you a few dollars, but given all of its other functionality, it's well worth the price.
