The Rock Case Rocks

Look no further if you want a slim fitting case with good grip and some style.
I just got the light grey off Amazon and the fit is perfect grip is great, bulk Is very min. The case has a different feel to it, it's weird in a good way, soft but grippy and there is a bit of a sandpaper type texture to it.
Only thing is you can't see the great looking back cover of the phones battery door.

Yeah, I've been using mine for a while too. Best case I have seen/felt in a long time.

How does this fit in your pocket? Does it stick in your pocket when you try to pull it out?

It feels great. Very grippy in the hands, easy to hold. Slides in and out of the pocket very nice.

I have the same case as the OP, I love it. It's feels and looks great.

I bought both black and grey but from a seller on ebay that is shipping from china. I only did this because at the time they did not have them on amazon. I got them for way cheaper though. I spent about 10 bucks a case.

I got my Rock case, and while it's nice. I don't like that it doesn't cover the top or bottom.

i just received my rock quicksand from a chinese vendor. how do i know if it is legit. it does have a nice packaging and a rock with a registered mark. but the markings on the case say "Designed by ROCK in Shenzhen"....can anyone confirm?
edit: noticed it does have chinese website rockphone.cn so looks legit

Yep got mine from a similar ebay vendor - shipped from Hong Kong to Australia in 10 days or so, and works great. I even managed to do a decent screen protector setup with no bubbles...

if only this case came in white I would be on it.

I'd love to see a drop test with these cases. They look fantastic and I'm sure will protect the phone from scratches, but how much protection will it offer if dropped?

The most closer you can get is choose the Rock Nakedshell. But is glossy instead of sandpaper texture.

Got the ROCK Quicksand today from UK seller on ebay. took 2 days delivery. and honestly im surprised by the build quality for £10. i think it's pretty good!
half tempted to cover the back in carbon fibre vinyl like another post ive seen here. but the Rock gets thumbs up from me!

That looks perfect to me! However, for that price, I I'd have to see a review first. I'm looking for the functionality that case has. I want something very slim and very light. The poetic I have is pretty nice, especially for 12 dollars. But it's thicker than I'd really like, though not really that thick. Also, it doesn't have the lay flat with a slight tilt option.

Is it really premium materials/brand? Or they just don't wana be in business ANYMORE?

How premium can PU really be?

Here is another one that I'm interested in. They are expensive I believe because they are being imported and only a couple of people are offering them. I would guess that in time they should come down in price. I prefer a minimalist case and both of these two seem really good but ebay is the only place I've been able to find them from.

Did you pay $82.00 for it?

I bought the AnyMode VIP case / blue color about a month ago. I would like it is amazing quality and I would consider it the best case I bought for a tablet, as I had before the Asus Prime and the Samsung Tab. It fits perfect nice color with my white Note 10.1 with excellent finishing.

Nillkin Black or White Case

I bought a Nexus 5 and saw that Nillkin (Chinese company) had some pretty strong looking cases. I'm just deciding whether you guys think white or black would look better on a black Nexus 5? I'm torn between the two.

I have one for HTC One it has a pretty good feeling to it, plus it has a screen protector (htc one did) white is nice on a black nexus and vice versa

I saw they also offer brown, metallic gold, and red. I ordered the brown for just under $8 shipped from China and will report back when I get it. From the photos it seems an unusual, understated brown - but hard to tell what it will really look like.

I like the look of these and the price is very cheap
I did see a YouTube review that made it seem slippery in the hand though

I ordered a gold one for my white handset. Thought Id go something different from the usual black.

I'd go with a black one or basically anything but white because I had a white Nilkin case very similar to this one for my nexus 4 and it got dirty instantly and it's hard to clean.

I personally prefer black, just because white is so "iphone"-like imo.

From my personal experience the white nillkin cases get extremely dirty really quick. Wouldn't recommend it, go for the black.

Replica Official Bumper case micro-review w/pics

I bought these on ebay for about $10 each. Sorry if the pics aren't the best. There's not a lot to say about them, they fit very well and I don't feel any give or looseness. The plastic quality is pretty good, and look much better in good light. For the money, I'd say they're definitely worth it, no doubt.

I got the red one and like you I was quite impressed. Very nice looking out of the box.
However the feel of the case is very slippery and difficult to hold. Not sure if the original is the same but I just could not get used to it. Went back to a cheap e-bay TPU case again after a few days.

Yeah, it's red-ish. I have a red nexus, so it doesn't bother me.

I completely agree. It's pretty slippery, but good looking. I'm just going to use it once in a while when I go out and want a different look. But for most days I'm going to stick to my Ringke Fusion Crystal View case. It has very tacky sides and I never feel likes it's going to slip out of my hands. But like I said, the replica bumper cases do look good. For what I paid, it's adequate.

I also got the grey one but was able to use it only for a few weeks before there was quite bad dis-colouration on the sides/edges and back. Makes it look very dingy.
That along with how slippery it was makes it something I would not recommend.
I'm no expert but these replica cases somehow feel like they are missing some kind of coating or finishing or something.

Here are the pics of the Zizo case...fits nice and snug...feels really durable...not too sure about the tempered glass, seems like its not sticking on the the edges--it does have almost full coverage minus the camera...maybe thats why its NOT sticking well..

Using spigen, is it hard to press on volume buttons?

No issues with the volume button...

I have the Zizo case as well. I don't like it. First person to PM me can have it. I'll ship it this Saturday and pay shipping to you.

My Zizo case came yesterday. I don't think I like it. It's ok but I like my cheap pink one better.

I got the green/clear Zizo. I don't like the way the clear tpu sticks to the back (that wet look) and the green color wasn't as nice as it looked in the pictures online. Just plain lime green.
It's an interesting case though. Fits well. I'm probably just biased because I'm already used to the pink one.
Well, just got my 2.99 obliq flex pro from the Mailman... I'll see how I like that one next!

I like my Spigen one better...but I just want the protection...I dropped my Note 7 shortly after receiving the 2nd recalled version and it got a tiny scratch on the screen...fortunately I had to return it anyways lol...Now I dont want to chance this V20 getting a nick...

Oops missed this thread, I started another for the Spigen Rugged. Excellent case for $12 on Amazon Prime. Good balance between light and still protective.
