Hi guys, I'm using HTC one m8 t mobile. Is there any body who using t mobile m8 here? I want to ask about when will my phone take android 5 update? I'm checking updates but there is no looking any update for my phone. My Cid is 11111111.

T-Mobile must be fast on OTA updates. The OTA hasn't even rolled out for WWE International(HTC Europe) and the T-Mobile customer base is already checking the update button obsessively.
You can track the update on HTC's website: http://www.htc.com/us/go/htc-software-updates/
This device is in the 2 - Integration stage of the Android Lollipop Release.

I've been waiting for a long time for the 2.3 update on my DHD and I still have not received an update to my phone, i was wondering if anyone has come across this issue and if there is a way to manually apply the update without rooting the phone.
My android version currently is 2.2.1 and software number is 1.84.832.2
any help would be much appreciated.

While you are waiting for a reply here (unfortunately I don't know the answer) you could try sending an email to HTC.
They may will be able to help you
HTC rolls out the OTA update region by region, with exception to some countries. 1st, by following above suggestion, do check your region whether they have launched the OTA update. 2nd, if you do want to update, at least turn the ENG S-OFF, as latest 2.50 is not rootable or downgradable (this way you can revert to older builds).

I did send an email to HTC quite awhile ago, at first I thought the phone originated in hong kong. But after sending HTC the serial number of the phone they told me it originated from India. As far as i'm aware people from both India and Hong Kong have received this update already and HTC told me that I should receive the update based on where the phone originated from and yet I still have no update.

when i was trying to update by OTA to have lollipop i must enable cdma and i think its not available in Egypt
so i cant even check for update , is there any way to have the new update without OTA

I've got an unlocked, unbranded Australian One M8 (HTC__039) but I'm not getting any updates to Lollipop. I've installed all the updates but the latest has kept me at 4.4.4 (Sense 6.0, Software 3.32.710.9, SDK 6.25, build 3.32.710.9 CL397296 release-keys) and saying there's no further updates. I'm not S-OFF so I can't change my CID to apply another OTA and I want to update before I start using it and have to reconfigure things again after the update. I was under the impression that HTC have released Lollipop for all unlocked variants now?
Am I doing something wrong or have HTC not released an update for my CID yet?

It's not Vodafone branded. Vodafone branded ones carry a CID VODAP*** this is HTC__*** which are the international variants.

Vodaphone is also international. And if you mean it's wwe.....it's not, wwe has software number 401.

Can some one help me out or at least try.
I have installed the stock ROM of KitKat 4.4.4 3.28.401.9 from the links provided on my HTC ONE M8. I have stock recovery, unlocked bootloader, S-ON and non rooted but I cannot receive any update of the new software Lollipop. Is there an app or something else that is blocking the update?
3-4 days ago when it was released in Europe, I have managed to download the update from the phone, but I couldn't install it because of some error. Then I decided to wipe the system and install the stock rom again and now ... no update what so ever ? Any help ?

I did contact HTC Australia today and it IS an unlocked Australian version, but they advised they have not released the update to Australian customers yet and HTC Australia have not been told by HTC HQ when the release will be available
Seems a bit of a poor effort to me - The phone is the same and it's unlocked so why shouldn't all unlocked variants get the update at the same time???

It's probably a network unlocked phone but taken from vodaphone. The software number does prove it comes originally from vodaphone.

I've got an Australian factory unlocked version and in these days I checked so many times if there was the Lollipop OTA but nothing appears... Is it normal or something is wrong?

Hello, I have HTC ONE M8 AT&T but my carrier isn't AT&T ,so previously i was on 4.4.2 than 4.4.4 released and i downloaded RUU from HTC official site and updated my phone without phone , just now i contacted HTC suppor to ask when Lollipop update will be released for AT&T , so he said i can install Lollipop update for unlocked versions which is released and i won't have any problem ?
