[Q] Stuck in Cyanogen Recovery after flashing Paranoid Android - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S II SGH-T989

I just flashed paranoid android 5.0+ unofficial for the galaxy S2 T989,
and for some reason it flashed cyanogen recovery over my previous one which was clockworkmod.
I can't for some reason get out of recovery (ie. boot into system or boot into bootloader).
I already wiped data/factory reset and wiped cache (in cyanogen recovery) and I also tried flashing different roms and tried flashing clockworkmod again but I keep getting an error of:
Installed Failed
E: Cannot load volume/misc!
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
Verifying update package...
E: Signature verification failed
Installation aborted
E: Cannot load volume/misc!
Cannot load volume/misc! - seems to be the first error message anytime I try to apply update from sdcard (ie. flash anything).
Anyone know what's wrong? Thanks in advance.

i have the same problem with you , can you get your phone into ODIN mode?

i have the same problem , and odin doesn't recognize my phone , I couldn't find any solution ..

Actually I ended up solving my problem, I just flashed the stock unrooted img in odin and now its back to normal. Just make sure you check re-partition in Odin cause my cache is messed up

Desire keeps booting into Bootloader

Alright, I guess I screwed up my Desire.
Whenever I power up the device, it gets into Bootloader.
My guess is the OS/ROM or whatever you call that is being deleted.
So how can I do to have it booted up into Android 2.1/2.2 OS?
It would help a great deal if you told what you did that made this happen like are you rooted? did you do s-off hack?
hmm, actually, I can't really remember what I've did.
I wanted to try rooting but somehow, it didn't work and I've tried going into Recovery and in ClockworkMod Recovery, I've selected wipe data/factory reset, and also wipe system, etc.
Are you able to boot into recovery? If you are, you can just use the clockwork mod recovery to flash a new rom, which you can download from the development forum.
yup, i've tried flashing shipped-roms.com/shipped/Bravo/RUU_Bravo_Froyo_HTC_WWE_2.10.405.2_R_Radio_32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2_release_142828_signed.exe
But when I select apply sdcard: update.zip, I get
-- Install from sdcard...
Finding update package...
Opening update package...
E: Can't open /sdcard/update.zip
(bad)
Installation aborted.
But previous I'm on 2.2 via OTA and HBOOT is 0.93

BRICKED bootloop from OTA

HOW IT HAPPEEND
I reformated my SD card (So i lost my backups but its on my comp) and i installed the OTA telus stock update
After that didn't properly update. ( said signature verification problem something) i disabled signature verification from clockworkmod and installed zip like other any other roms.
NOW IM IN A BOOTLOOP LOST CLOCKWORKMOD(i think i lost root)
now things i tried
-going back to recovery hoping to do nandroid back but i lost clockworkmod and i'm stuck with the android recovery( so i downloaded Fake Flash by koush to get back clockworkmod) and it would not finish updating WTF. It said E: failed to verify whole-file signature and E:signature verification failed WHAT DOES THIS MEAN
also i don't know which RUU to use as i've tried one and i got the wrong one
all i know is that i have a telus htc desire
PLEASE HELP ME EITHER HELPING ME FIX THE CLOCKWORKMOD UPDATE SO I COULD DO A NANDROID RECOVORY
OR HELP ME FIND MY type of RUU
SOLVED MY PROOBLEMSS

[Q] Cant install rom after installing Probam N7105

I installed probam(4.4.2) rom on my phone about a week ago, was having trouble with it so i tryed to wipe everything and install Skynote Air Rom (4.3). but everytime i go to install i get
"installing update..."
"format() expects 5 args got 3"
"E: error in /storage/sdcard1/Roms/Sky_Note_Air.zip"
"(status 7)"
"installation Aborted"
so after that failed i tried odin to go to complete stock firmware and re-root and get CWM recovery and now its just running stock
Now i have done a little Research but im getting mixed answers, some say its the recovery, but others say its because i need to re-partion my phone.
tried philz recovery, and TWRP but both with same error
If it needs re-partioning how would i go about doing it without bricking my phone
any help would be very appreciated
Thanks
...hello there...I suggest this steps...
1) check if your phone is rooted correctly (use GalaxyNote2Root)
2) flash Philz recovery over Odin (use philz_touch_6.02.1-n7100)
3) Try with some custom ROM that have Aroma instalation like (use Sotmax_Ultimate_Stock_V14_XXUEMK4_HD_AR)
Regards...

[Q] CWM Recovery not permanent

I was trying to install CWM recovery on this phone , I used Odin to flash recovery . I flashed recovery then removed battery and then booted to recovery then CWM loaded but as soon as I restarted the phone and again tried opening recovery phone took me to stock recovery , how can I solve this? I am running 4.2.2 firmware . And also I tried flashing CM11 with this temporary CWM but package installation stopped because of a error (status 7) saying some problem with partition , I was not rooted at the time . Is root needed to flash CM11 ?

1. Once u boot into CWM recovery flash SuperSU (If u don't have get it from here). This will ensure that the recovery doesn't revert back to stock.
2. Status 7 error has various reasons. Ensure that u r using most latest recovery and perform clean install.

First of all root your device.
Secondly install philz recovery using odin.
Then flash your desired ROM
(i suggest you aogp dual sim).
PM me if you need any help.
All the best
Press thanks Button

emmc is a partition i believe, if you see such errors, recheck if you are using the correct recovery... I flashed my tablet with wrong recovery and it wiped out all my partitions. It's as good as a brick now if not worse.

I think you have tried the right thing, format cache, as it's not working could it be memory hardware? You could take it to some repair shop to try repair with jig.
still the same
