Well, they're both hybrids of SaberMod and Linaro, but LinaroMod is closer to standard Linaro, and SaberNaro is closer to SaberMod. Feel free to try out both and see which one you like better!

Well, SaberMod is faster and gives pure speed, while Linaro is slightly slower, but creates an overall smoother experience. I mixed the two to get different aspects of both into one toolchain (actually i was just bored, but nevermind that). As for the hybrids, from tests on other devices, people have reported that both give exceptional performance and stability.

Great, thanks!
I'm trying it out on my D2VZW w/ Mahdi 2.9 (Android 4.4.4). So far I can say that it boots! Although it took a VERY long time to boot - about 5 minutes.
I'll try it out and leave feedback on this thread.
EDIT: When I open Synapse, it says "ERROR DEVICE NOT SUPPORTED". My device is listed as SCH-i535 (D2VZW). Do I need to change this in my build.prop to get it to work?

Really? It's probably a backwards compatibility problem. I never really made it for 4.4, it just happened to work lol. If you havent already, i really recommend that you try out the latest CM nightlies

I'd love to jump onto a CM12 based ROM, but the camera bugs are keeping it from being a daily driver for me.

Is there a way you can add more governors? Both the builds run great no rush or anything just wondering if more governors will be added?

Well, i just found a heap of governors in a few other kernels, so the next version should have freelunch, all variants of smartass, and others such as greaselightling, brazillianwax, and more.

One last question about the voltage, is it gonna stay at the minimum? 129 MHz I believe or
You gonna lower it? Dkp goes all the way to 54 MHz just curious

I don't think I'll go down further. 129 MHz is already pretty low, so all 54 Mhz would do is make it wake from sleep slower. But, I did update the OP to have the changelog for tomorrows build. You might like what you see

Thanks a lot. First kernel for N4, amazing. Everything works nice for me. S2S works nice but I'm unable to make S2W working.
Big thanks for your work.

Agree to the kernel driver and the configs match the N910F source code. According to my knowledge, the N910T source code is indeed for the N910F version but some things just go.

That with the ramdisk is already clear to me that it is the N910F. My concern is mainly about the kernel driver (source / drivers) do not have problems with N910F. Well the N910F Source code coming soon
[30 October 2014] [Kernel] [SM-910F] N4 AEL Kernel
The source is unified across the board when it comes to the Snapdragon version. The only difference is which carrier's build script is in the root folder. You can find all of the configs for every one of them in the tmo source, though.
I don't intend to cover anything outside of North America, so Europe is all you. I'm sending people here as long as that isn't an issue.
This kernel also works perfectly on my Canadian SM-N910W8 in case any Canadian users are wondering

These are the configs of the EU version in source code is known to me. Nevertheless, what is presently as the internal kernel drivers are different in N910F source . Whether there are differences between the drivers you can not say at present . Presumably it does nothing but surely I 'm not .
Here is a problem from a German forum:

I have many ideas for your kernel:
Linaro 4.9.2, -03, update drivers gpu (libs and kernel), touch wake, wake lock, port drivers kernel from 2.35 or 3.x to 2.32

I'm eager to see this in froyo stock, surely will be better, this kernel is good but the battery drains too quick I think with froyo you can do something very good pal
Thanks for this kernel, I'm using it for some time and i'm waiting for new version with more cool features like fsync and maybe s2tw\dt2w?

Flashed over Carbon ROM RC5. Booted up and then just shows a blank screen with the Mi logo.
Screen turns on and off, I can hear the volume being adjusted, but that's all.
Reflashed original ROM and all is back to normal.
Thanks for continued development.
Peace.
Please implement OC/OV function.

Can this be used on Stock based roms ?
No install hiccups, running smoothly.
BTW, which governor gives a better battery life, not compromising on the performance extensively, but little above balanced?
Thanks

If you guys have other settings to reach the full potential of the hardware with great battery life please post
Works Fine and fast....
CPU underclocking is THE BEST
I have a doubt : Under the Hotplug[CPU] Should the MPDecision be Enabled for the kernel addon MSM MPDecision Hotplug to work? ALSO should i Disable faux's Intelliplug?

Maybe I will include more hotpluging drivers in future builds. In my opinion smartmax in combination with intelliplug or msm sleeper (probably in next build) gives a great performance without loosing too much battery.
But feel free to compile your own kernel
one (feature-)request.can you add sound controll?
i think this the branch
https://github.com/decipher90/decipher_kernel/tree/new2/sound
Update available
R 3 - 23/11/2016
Changelog:
MSM Sleeper added (Intelliplug is default)
Overhauled boot script
Synced with CM-Sources
At the moment Kernel Adiutor does not support MSM Sleeper tunetables. If you want to use it you have to uncomment it in the boot script and comment intelliplug.

Sorry I don't have the time to write a full indroduction to kernel development, but I can give you the advice to look at XDA-University:
