Lollipop Lock Screen Clock - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Anyone know if its possible to modify the clock position of the lollipop lock screen up to align centered in the smart circles case window?

I actually would like tk change the clock like with 4.0 you had different clocks... The stock on from lollipop is to little

Hi there
I'm searching a method to hide this clock too... But I, actually, don't find anything correct for a D855 running Cloudyg3 2.2, rooted, TWRP Recovery. Is there someone who reach this ??
If I find something, I'll post it here.
Thanks Y'All

i think it's gone... i loved on android 4.0 and 4.1 you could choose your own clock... atleast on 3 of my lg devices i had back then.. but on 5.0 it gone

Ok, so is it possible to disable the quick circle option on the lock screen ? Because I think it's this I want to throw away...

ow you mean the round clock on lockscreen?
or you talk about flipcase quickcircle thing?

@reggiexp I'm talking about the clock on the lock screen, the clock inside a circle. I disabled the quick circle option but the clock is still there... One day I will remove it, one day ??

2 quick questions

I'm looking to get a Desire, still haven't managed to have a play on one (everywhere seems to be out of stock) and just have 2 quick questions before I order one:
- Does the flip clock have the flip animation like on Sense UI on Windows Mobile (ala Leo/Topaz etc?) or can this be enabled?
- Does the phone have homescreen weather animations? (Again like Manila 2.1/2.5). I've only ever seen clouds go across the screen, but do you see rain and the wiper etc?
Thanks in advance.

1- what you mean flip animation? does the time update by flipin the 'time cards'? if so then yes it does flip
2. yes it does have all the animations
The animation I mean is like this one: (@ 0:50) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11wKmsnNnT0&feature=related

ok on my desire the clock updates so fast that theres no flip animation
i havent had a sunny weather yet so didnt notice the sun kind of glowing yet, but when its raining or its cloudy the animation works fine
Flip animation still hasn't returned to HTC sense, the HD2 had it though so maybe an issue with Android made them decide to leave it out.

[Q] How to eliminate battery and time in Notification bar

Could anyone tell me how to eliminate the Battery symbol and time in the notification bar? I have the bar hidden right now, but I use a different app to monitor the battery, so I don't want two indicators up there, and the time is useless since I have an app on the screen showing the time.
Thanks for the help in advance.

you will have to do this with a custom home screen (aka launcher.)
not sure which, launcher pro or ADW but one of those can modify those settings to a certain extent. I dont have exact details but someone can provide them. also that might require root... are you running root? how about any custom roms? I am pretty sure cyanogenmod comes with ADW, and that in CM adw you can modify those. good luck --josh
I'm running sky raider 2.5.0 and it has launcher pro in it. There is no options for that. Oh well. I'll figure it out eventually.

Go to the Themes and Apps forum. There is a thread in there with zip files for removing the clock, location reticle, and/or battery icon.

Are you running a deodexed ROM? If so you might want to head over to the Theme's forum. They have custom made clocks that are more or less the Sense clock widget but in different colors/fonts/exactly the same as stock but without AM/PM/etc.

Yeah there are mods to remove it entirely, some to change to 24/hr and I think one that just gets rid of it. Check them out. Notification Bar Mods is what you should search for. And if you can't find any, then request someone to make one for you. There are themers out there that would do that cause it seems like an easy fix.

Long press on a slider, or press menu then add slider and you can choose theme. It doesn't change the theme as soon as you install.

Hi
Quick question RE: Widget locker
I've only ever used this biefly on my old Desire.....this was some time back so my memory is a little hazy
i seem to remember that on occasions that it would either flash up the standard HTC lock screen or require me to unlock one then the other.....or something similar to this
Does this lockscreen work without the above issues (or indeed, any issues) on the S2 ?
is there any lag or any other nasties ??
Cheers

Works fine on mine so far. always showing the widgetlocker except after a fresh reboot. slight lag on the slider at times. my only concern was battery life but it doesn't seem to affect much.

[Q] How to show lockscreen before PIN?

I'm trying out Touchwiz again after using AOKP for a while and I'm liking it, the only issue is how can I show the lockscreen before entering my PIN? I want my phone to be secure but I hate not having a seeing the actual lockscreen. Anyway around this? Also, does anyone know how to make the status bar clock font any smaller? It takes up way too much space.

nothing you can really do about it as far as the clock goes, maybe if you install a smaller font in the display section.
As far as lockscreen before pin, TouchWiz does not have that option, that was only on AOKP and CM9 roms.
If you don't mind a third-party solution, I just checked GoLocker, and it shows the swipeable lockscreen before you have to enter your PIN.
And I agree with abesgs2; your best bet is a new font for the statusbar time.
Maybe you could find a way not to display it through a ROM hack and instead install an app that displays the clock there, but I don't know anything about that.
