Well, the question is in the thread's title. Can I use CM12 trebuchet launcher on CM11?
I know I need to install the launcher in the system folder to make it work but does the CM12 version work with CM11 rom? I don't know what progress they have made but I have a friend with oneplus one (CM12 Nightlies) and his trebuchet works with google now swiping left.
I may be somewhat greedy but I want trebuchet's features and google now implemented that's why I'm looking for this. Is it possible?

If you're running KitKat I can supply you with a flashable ZIP archive to give you Google Play Services and the Google Now launcher, but I don't know if that's what you want.
I have google now launcher right now but I miss some customization from the trebuchet. I renember that last time I used trebuchet on GN with CM11, the google now feature from the google launcher (with that swipe left feature) wasn't working properly. But I've checked a friend's OPO with CM12 nightlies and his google now swipe left works with trebuchet so maybe CM12's trebuchet can bring that feature to my GN's CM11 rom.
I think I just need a flashable zip of CM12 trebuchet in which google now works as if it were the google launcher but I don't know if it works right out of the box.

Thought id post this to help some people that are confused with the latest miui 4.1
After you have intstalled miui 4.1 i bet you noticed that there is no Google now that we have is a standard in 4.1+
to fix this issue just Flash any JB Gapps after you have Flashed miui 4.1 then reboot miui then go into editor mode and you will see the google widget add to screen then walla!

Angry birds launcher, to get this launcher its actually a theme in themes once themes is selected you'll notice its the top one just download and install it, once installed pull down the screen not the notification bar then angry birds launcher is enabled

i pulled the apk off of CM12.1 with ES File Explorer
when i check the apk on CM11 there is no version number.
on an CM12.1 i can install the package without an error
It's not compatible then. You'll need to find another launcher to suit your needs.

You will need to browse the play store and find a custom launcher with a similar layout. Only other way would be to decompile the apk and change the api level to one compatible with cm11, but that may not work, and personally I wouldn't know how to do this myself. Something to search on XDA.

You can't on the stock rom, that's only possible with some custom roms (I think omni offers it), none of which are available for the OP9P

Quickswitch module works but the launchers that are compatible don't gave grid style recent. I can change it to pixel launcher and lawnchair launcher.
So I tried using Nova Launcher and then disabling gestures but they don't work at all anymore. Every time I reboot my phone again, the home/back buttons come back again. Any fixes for that?
I use nova launcher and the gestures work perfectly, so only the gestures in the nova launcher. If you want to use native gestures, you must use the poco launcher.
In order to provide gestures properly the app needs to have privileged permissions. This means it needs to be a system app. A custom ROM (on a different phone) had an app called quick switch which changed the chosen launcher to a system app and then rebooting.
In short: try to use root and an app to make nova launcher a system app

I will try that and report back. I don't think it will fix the problem with rebooting+ home buttons appear again but at least making it usable without a third party app (using Fluid Navigation Gestures)

As you should already know Oneplus released the stable update of A13 for Oneplus 9/9 Pro, as some of you i installed on my 9 Pro and everything works ok.
But i wanted to install custom launcher so i can have more customizations, i was able to but all Google Apps including Play Store stoped working, does anyone have a clue why is that?
Also i would like a launcher with recents support, i also tried quickswitch but for now lawnchair is not compatible with a13.

Yes that does work but i wanted something with recents support.
I'm looking for the same thing, it's agonizing not being able to choose the apps grid from the drawer, and I also don't understand why Lawnchair didn't add support even if it's experimental to android 13

What you mean Lawnchair launcher doesn't work ??? Works fine for me I don't use the Google play version. I use this one https://lawnchair.app/downloads/

Doesn´t work with quickswitch!
You can install it but the recents are very glittery and no smooth as it should!

I'm not on A12 or A13 yet, but I use and like Microsoft Launcher!

without quickswitch the launcher is poorly integrated into the system, it is preferable to use the stock launcher than a launcher that is blinking because it is conflicting

thanks! Just tried it out but seems like lawnchair crashes when tried to swipe up from nav bar (have an OP11) and opening app animation are really stuttery. I might have to wait till things are a bit more polished before hopping back on this.
