adb system dump of unrooted I9505XXUHOA7 and I will not root my device.
Zip size 1.4GB / unpacked about 2.4GB
today I called the German service company who installed lollipop on my s4.
question: if I send my best for to you for a software update, will I get KitKat or lollipop?
answer: you will get KitKat
question: why? You have already installed lollipop on 9505.
answer: yes we had it for some days and then Samsung withdrawal release again. Now we install KitKat again.
I suppose it was just an accidental leak. they received the lollipop version and started installing it before it should jave been released..

Chris

It will set the model number correctly. As you see in your own Sig Block is says GT-N7105.
Applying the patch will give you the correct model, allow AT&T apps to be visible in the app store, and default to AT&T APN's.
Scott, what if we just wanted the new stock Samsung kernel that fixes the exploit and want to run 4.0.5? The link for the patch doesn't work.

for me it works perfect for several 4.4.2 Roms. I never try it for the new official Sammy 4.4.2, only for the CM11 and 2 other ROms availiable here on XDA and also for the original Sammy 4.2 I had when I got the phone. I can backup and recover all those roms. From what I read the new official 4.4.2 has a different structure so maybe thats why CWM fail with it. But for sure it works for 4.4.2, maybe just not for that original Version!?

no ART ...no Knock on/off code....what good is it then..? LG is so good in killing the excitement...no more LG products for me sure.

OK3 Firmware on SGH-M919

I see a lot of things on how to root for other firmware, but not this one. Does anyone know if the other methods described will work so I can flash TWRP and do some custom firmwares on to this device?
Thanks
Am using ok3.. CF should have root for this... Check in his site

What did you use to root it when you were on OK3?

Is OK3 newer than NH7? If not, I may just ODIN NH7 on to the device. Then, just root from there.

Do you know if all of the 4.4.4 packages are swapable? Like, I could install NH7 because it is also 4.4.4? Or can you not downgrade? I know it hard to downgrade after accepting an upgrade to a higher version of android.

You just need to update your modem of OK3... There are tutorials on XDA to flash just modem...
OR
Take nandroid backup, Revert to stock, unroot, Carrier will send you the updates which will update your modem, put back your nandroid backup (bit of time consuming process)

With my knowledge there is different modems in different parts of USA
Sample
#1 bought in Missouri NH7
#2 bought in California OK3
And all are latest necessary for
CM based ROMs

Think of it this way..alphabetically N, then O, so O is more recent than N. It's usually best to have most recent bootloader/modem on your phone to give any ROM you flash the best shot to work well on your phone.
