When someone calls me, phone unlocks and start to do random touches in pocket.
The sensor is working properly. During a call, the screen dims.
Is there any way to make it work well before take call?

There is an app for configuring your proximity sensor, but you need root for that... The solution that works for me is to just move the phone a bit towards your face while talking so that the proximity sensor(the thingy that looks like a led next to your speaker grill, across from the real notification led) actually touches my ear, than the screen turns off...
the proximity sensor on my note 2 it's not working properly, it's always activated, when I get a call the sreen turn off even if I don't taket to my ear, and then I must unblockit to finish the call, only works when there is a lot of light.
I can't use anything that works with the sensor!!

my OP5t constantly turns on the screen when I make phone calls resulting in unwanted touch input and sometimes even ended calls.
Is this a common Issue or would you send the phone back?
Just to be sure: I am really trying to hold the phone properly while making calls. I never had such an issue with another phone.
Hey, after my display repair, the proximity sensor is not working correctly.
Therefore the calls app is always showing a black screen and I cannot end a call.
Is there any way to disable the proximity sensor? Or can I swap the calls app?

I'm having Proximity sensor issue. It is always on, during phone calls, not able to accept the calls as screen goes blank. Any way to solve this?
