Please! Anyway I can get a quick 2.0 charger in Europe? - Xperia Z3 Compact Accessories

I'm not bad at doing Google searches. Yet I have not been able to track one single trace of a quick 2.0 charger (of absolutely any brand) available in Europe. What the heck is wrong? Why are they all in the States? Can anyone help with a source to order/buy one in Europe? Thanks! A desperate European.

I haven't got QC 2.0 to work on the Z3 Compact, other user is reporting the same.

Hello,
There are a plenty of quick charge 2.0 capable chargers, such as the Motorola Turbo Charger. I do not own this charger myself but it's a Quickcharge 2.0 complient charger with schuko prongs, so it'll work in most European countries and it is shipped from the UK:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Motorola-2-Pin-Plug-Turbo-Charger/dp/B00PGQXJ0G

I got this one here and it works quite nice.
1h of charging and my phone is almost full. from around 5%.

The last time i read quickcharge charges up 0-> 60% in 30 min , so 5-> 95 in 1 h is quite plausible dunno where you get your numbers from.
https://www.qualcomm.com/products/snapdragon/quick-charge
Jeah i could have bought something cheap but i dont want to mess with cheap power supplies, i dont mind paying a bit.
Current input is definetly more than standard wall charger and it fits my purpose.
There may be something better but this one worked as expected. Its officially certified and supported.
And you can buy it in europe which brings me back to the topic.
And its on sale and half the price of the charger posted before.

Only seen results briefly but you are correct on charge times. Mind you my BlackBerry playbook travel charger with higher voltage is around 1hr Mark via magnetic dk48 dock.
I'll maybe post exact times as phone is still pretty new with a month charge cycles via dock and plug on its own

Jeah magnetic charging also works with Quickcharge but the output is a bit less than with conventional micro usb cable.

I bought the aukey from amazon.fr. £12 delivered to the uk. Very impressive. Well built and quick

Easy and expensive (29.99 euro, shipping included):

When I charge it with the micro usb port it can charge the 60% of the battery ? in 1h according to the battery app. I noticed that it can do 40% in 30min. So it works. I haven't tried the magnetic port but I heard that is the same…

It doesn't work like that. The phone will only draw as much current as it needs. You only need to make sure the output voltage is correct (which it will be for any charger with a USB port.)
the link i posted is 5v, 1 a
exaclty what the wall charger uses
so the OP would love it
The latest reviews on the above linked Belkin charger are horrible. It's almost as if it is for older phones. I'd personally look for a different charger. At least read the reviews before buying so you know what you are getting.

This is the same issue with HTC phones, when you charge via USB DC, it goes into a different charging mode and doesn't feed the phone the full 1amp it needs to feed the battery sucking GPS radio.
This mod lets you convert a DC USB charger to trick the phone into thinking it's an AC USB charger.
You need a 1 amp charger to do this.

It's not about it being 1A, that's only half the equation. It also needs to trick the phone into thinking that it's an AC USB charger.

[Q] Battery charging issues

I don't really remember when it started, but about 3 weeks ago I've noticed that my battery will not charge over night. I've noticed that if it's going lower then 45% during the day it will not charge to 100% after 6-7 hours. Usually I wake up with about 85%. Few xays ago it became worse and can stuck on some percentage for hours !!! I've try to change roms, change cables and so on. The only charger that actually works well is in my car but sometimes it works slow as well, though it's 2.1 amper. I have at least 4 other people in our facebook group of note2 that are having the same problem... calibrating apps didn't help as well btw... please help ?!?
Are you using the provided charger or another micro usb?l charger? If it's a different one, look at the charger and it should tell you the output amperage. Report back to here.
OK
I have also strange problem ...

Unless I'm reading my charger wrong it's 1.8 A and not 1.2
Theres a thread here where i ordered 2 Blackberry chargers. They came out to a total of 5 dollars with shipping through ebay and it was 3 day shipping. They output 1.8Amps and the actual charge I get is around 1400Mah and after 80% it starts going from 1000Mah and down. I ordered 4 more cause 2.50 for each one of these is awesome!! The build quality is great and they're about 8 feet long too.

Another reason for wanting another OEM charger is that if you have the Google "bumper" case the cutout for the charger is soooooooo very small that only the OEM cable will fit, as far as i can find. I am not pleased about that. I do not get why LG or Google are not selling the cable and/or charger.

BlackBerry PlayBook 1.8A chargers are indeed the best. I even have a couple 2.0A version units of that charger that are ever so slightly faster.

Chargers!?! Where?

Anyone have any good places (preferably Amazon Prime) to get a few replacement chargers (and car too) that will rapid charge the device?
Thanks in advanced... I looked through the past 3 pages of threads and didn't see anything.
I found this one.. but not sure it will do the fast/rapid charging:

The best chargers to use are the blackberry playbook chargers. Ive been using these things since the note 3 and they charge fast! They are like 15 dollars for 5 of them on ebay. OEM and all.
Do they actually "fast" charge the Note 4?
You can only get the "fast" charge with the charger that came with the phone, although my old S4 charger charges the phone pretty quick too. Not as fast tho!

Most people agree and you can google for more assurance that they charged faster than the oem note 3 chargers. Im not exactly sure how fast it charges compared to this new "fast charging technology" but literally they charge so quick because of the ratings INPUT - 100-240V OUTPUT - 5V 1.8A. I dont even use my oem note 4 charger, i just have one of these in each room and they are perfect. Just ebay 1.8a blackberry playbook oem charger. The wire is pretty long too so thats great.
Edit: i have nothing to do with this ebay post or anything like that but here is what youre looking for. Just look around on ebay you will see people who have them in 3x or 5x bundles for like under 15.00

Correct. The Motorola turbo chargers are the same thing just a different name. So you can use those as well.
As for the charger ratings. It actually needs to be 9volts 1.67amps. To quick charge. And also it needs to be able to change to 5v 2amps. Because quick charge actually changes voltage and amperage in the middle of charging and slows down in order to protect the battery.

That's true. As long as it slows down when it gets up to a certain percent it's probably not that bad anyway
You can always just buy another one and swap it out though
Deals for batteries sometimes go around 30 bucks so it isn't that bad. I usually buy 2 anyways so I can have one just in case, but I don't think that will be an issue with the fast charging on this phone.
I ended up buying the Verizon Fast Charge chargers. confirmed to work with fastcharge as they're basically quickcharge 2.0 chargers.
I bought the Car charger and a wall charger. Normal price is $35.00 apiece.
