htc oen vx stoc rom - HTC One VX

hi there,
I have an htcone vx which i rooted and devunlocked and placed a costumrom from xda. The wifi feature didnt work so i messed with it and tried to flash back a stock image i found on the internet but when i did it the phone wouldnt boot right anymore. The first screen that appeared said htc one like normal but little red word would appear saying something like: this is for developers purpose etc....... Once in a while it would boot up to the costum rom and it wouldnt let me in saying that talk process wasnt responding orworking. and that i guess the system wasnt responding either. i would liek to know a STOCK IMAGE ORIGINAL FOR MY HTC ONE VX IS FROM AT&T. if anyone would tell me where to get it and the steps to flashing the STOCK ROM i woudl apreciate it!!!
I hope i have come to the right place......it seems theres alot of people involved in this place. THX FOR ALL OF THE HELP YOU CAN GIVE ME!!!

[Q] Enable Boot Sound in HTC Desire with Cyanogenmod 7.1 ROM

Hello,
Somebody knows how to enable boot sound in HTC Desire GSM with CyanogenMod 7.1 ROM??
I was searching for a solution for our device but I couldn't find anything...
I also tried all the solutions that I found for the other devices but it seems that aren't compatible with HTC Desire GSM because nothing worked.
Please anyone can help me?
Thanks in advance!
This is so important it has to be in the development section. :banghead:
via xda app
a better question is how you are able to post on development section as this is your first post.

I was searching related information and trying to solve it the last 5 days.
It's obviously that isn't a very important issue, but on the other hand, I think it's a technical problem that cannot be solved by a normal user.
In XDA, I've readed the same thread in other sub-forums of other devices, thats why I posted my thread here.
I've also readed the BEFORE POSTING thread, and then I've decided that this is the better section to post. And if I've correctly interpreted the rules, this section it's for advanced technical issues (NOT FOR IMPORTANT ISSUES) related with development, or ROM development, in that case CM 7.1, because that only occurs with that ROM, with other ROMS the sound can be loaded on Boot Screen.
If I am wrong and this thread has to be posted on another section, please let me know, but it's not necessary to miss your education.

Sorry to say, but you are wrong.
As you clearly state in the topic this is a question and questions belong into the q&a forum. Please read the Forum-Rules.
The answer for your question is:
CM don't has a bootsound. And it's not possible to enable, but to add it.
You'll need an .mp3 , rename to android-audio.mp3 and put it into the same folder as your boot animation.

That is not working in case of HTC Desire GSM with CM and I don't understand why...
I put the same original android-audio.mp3 of the original ROM, or the "droooid" android-audio.mp3 and no matters where I put the mp3 file:
* /data/local
* /system/media
* /system/customize/resource
...
the audio never sounds when bootanimation is playing at the device's boot.

Go to HTC developer website. Search desire gingerbread official update, download it to pc, connect phone to pc via usb cable, start the downloaded file, wait 20-30 minutes. Done. Optional ( Now go to revolutionary website for rooting and s-off. )

How to Guide Required [Nood Proof]

I got myself a htc one x today but it has that o2 branded software.
I am looking to get the stock software on it and I don't know how.
Looking for a n00b proof guide.
Thanks for all the help in advance.
Well since nobody answered I'll. I don't want to sound like a troll but don't you think this is a bit going too far?
I don't believe that you bothered to check the 09/07/2012 Everything HTC One X. *** Read this before posting *** Sticky Roll-Up *** or use the search.
Wrong section as well. You'll know that you can't flash the stock WWE rom without SuperCID/S-OFF, and that your only alternative is to load a custom rom.
May want to alter the title slightly, at any rate.
Cheers,
Josh
Moved to Q&A but closed as well since there are already existing threads for that matter.

[Q] RUU Troubles?!?

hey guys..
currently i am working on fixing HTC ONE X (Endevor)... i have had some trouble over the past with HTC's.. and now currently i have a job fixing phones and other things..
just hit a roadblock sooo hard it hurts!
I have the phone freezing when i play a video on youtube... it is annoying as i would have to issue a refund on the product.... So ive downloaded the tools i use ( goldcard) RRU's all that fun stuff..
Am i right in thinking when i load the RUU it goes back to that stock rom... its not rooted, no custom rom.. just stock.. if you can tell me.. so i just need to run that RUU or do i have to continue other steps after that RUU?!
If you can get back to me ASAP with some answers... i would be sooo happy!!
Thanksss
Ricky!

Please stick to one thread. Posting incomplete information to a new thread is not only unnecessary, it makes it harder for folks to help you. The thread in the link above is where I recommend sticking to. Even if the condition has changed, its still a result of the actions you described there. Keep alll the info in one thread, make it easier for folks to help you.
