This is the OFFICIAL build of many for the LG Optimus G, Build's are usually updated on a weekly or wheneverwefeellikely basis. All credit goes to Team Ground Zero and all our hardworking Devs. Team Ground Zero is built upon the willingness to learn, create and socialize on Android. Creators of Validus, a custom AOSP ROM with many features created in house as well as pulled from CyanogenMod, SlimROMs, Paranoid Android and others. Members are also dev/maintainers for other popular ROMs. Enjoy your stay! Also, unofficial builds from source will not be supported. ****Please Undertand that the CM12 Theme Engine is in its early stages and some things may not work or function as they should. Use at your own risk and don't complain about themes in this thread. Our Team has worked really hard to theme this ROM the way we like it....The CM team has to get their theme engine bugs worked out, we are just happy to have it in there to play around with for now.....

Oh, look at this! A new official custom ROM for our beloved G the sources show it's Gproj with stock CM12 kernel. I hope you'll consider switching to another kernel or fixing CM12 kernel issues like dark camera and onld stuff from JB.
Generally, nice job and I'm sooo happy to see this here

Any screenshots?

Is this Rom tested at all, because you are saying bugs: you tell us?
Thanks.

Awesome ROM - best LP & fitting my needs.
But there two things;
1. Could you re-add geehrc in update script (like in test build or just use the full update script)?
2. 24-02 build doesn't recognize my sim (no problems on test build). I also read about this bug in g+ falcon build<---happend again, its because i unlocked the phone before entering sim pin
/edit
Some switches are "invisible" due to the black theme:
Overlays got a transparent backround which makes it sometimes hard to read (just as a example, as i dont remember the other overlay..lol):
May it be possible to add access PG via statusbar (by pressing pg notification)?

Hey guys, new build is up in the OP. Enjoy!

any plan to switch to Kevin's kernel? It's actually stock KK kernel tweaked by faust93 to work with custom ROMs and developed further by Kevinjoa. It has many superiarities from which I can mention the camera. Stock camera drivers make a big difference. Stock CM uses old 4.2 mako blobs which cause real problems. Aside from the dark camera, we have problems in apps like google camera, skype etc. Camera doesn't connect.

Just to correct a bit, it is based on LP mako (not stock kk), only few things for Optimus G support and stock kk camera drivers are ported on top of it.

the rom is great, especially that it's grpoj based, full of many features, but there is a one problem/bug... then settings background i black, even after applying any "white" theme, the i prefer the white one, and i can't change the image in notification drawer ,
@oadam11 can you release white background fix/ mod or make an option of background colour in next build?

White themes won't work because the team has built our dark ui into the framework itself. Sorry but we do not have plans to switch back to white

Does this rom work or has it been tested for the E971 version?

Thanks for this Floatshow, I wish you all the best with your own ROM :good: I will check it out in the coming week.
This might be a bit of a controversial question, but I mean no harm with it - Will you ever plan on adding the PA settings to your ROM? (it's my understanding that other ROMs are allowed to implement them).
Also what is the kernel based upon, HTC 2.17 sources?

Well, I was thinking about doing it.
And even maybe features from other ROMs (AOKP ?). I'll see
i personally gave up on doing it, but I was just wondering.
could this kernel be repacked for the arhd or sense 4+ jb releases, for those unfortunate enough not to have a matching cid?
since it worked with trip's 3.1 and 3.4 kernels..
would we encounter the same sound bugs?

Hmm no that won't work
Trip's kernel is 3.1 or 3.4 and probably have some tweaks.
Even with these kernels not everything works for the ones who do not have the needed CID.
file is corrupted, i downloaded twice with the same result.

[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][2/3/14] 4.4.2 Kit Kat BAKED [D802]- USB TETHERING WORKS!

Hello and welcome to the unofficial thread for Baked Kit Kat 4.4.2 D802. Thought I would try and fill a gap here, I am a device maintainer for Team Baked on the LS980 (Sprint) but am also going to be contributing as device maintainer for the d800,d801,d802, eventually the international and d803 versions aswell. I WILL NOT be maintaining for the VS980 as Travis is maintaining that device already. I don't have this device so you guys are going to have to be my testers to make sure everything seems to be in working order.
How To Install:
Make A Nandroid Backup In Your Recovery
Wipe Data/System/Cache/DalvikCache
Install Rom
Install Gapps
Reboot
As I have asked in my other threads, please don't have 20 people reporting the same issues if there are any, it's just annoying!
Update: 2/2/2014 - After spending a few days sorting out issues, we come one step closer to finding a solution to our problems. I was having an issue with my test build getting through Setup Wizard but after noticing the problem, there should be no problem.
We simply just need to update out beta gapps is all.
A quick little change log for you guys for the 2/2/14 build:
A lot of stuff is always added so I won't always be able to set out the full list of changes
Navigation Button Color Picker Added
USB Tething Now Works (Thanks acardinal)
If you aren't updated with the T-mobile theme engine, we merged the fully themable phone dialer *Inverted*, Desk Clock, and Stock Email to source
If you need Gapps for now until we get ours up and released try these: http://goo.im/devs/bevigilant/pa-gapps/
NOTE: SOME OF THESE ISSUES ARE SUBJECT TO DIFFERENT VARIANTS OF THE LG G2 AND COULD BE AN ISSUE FOR ONE OR ALL OF
THEM, I CAN ONLY PROVIDE A CHANGE LOG FROM WHAT I HAVE EXPERIENCED FOR THE SPRINT LG G2 AKA LS980 BUT IF THESE WERE ISSUES ON YOUR DEVICE THEY SHOULD BE FIXED NOW ASWELL, IF NOT, CONTACT ME ASAP
Update (2/3)
Setup Wizard No Longer Force Closes After Skipping Activating Mobile Service
In About Phone Section Build Says 2/2 but it's really 2/3
If your internet doesn't work right away via the Play Store just do a reboot.
Known Issues
Have to select Language 2x in setup wizard
Carrier Settings causes a meltdown of force closes

To be a bit vague, this ROM is open source based off CyanogenMod with cherry picks from AOKP and features we want to add in general so you get the best of both worlds, it's a black inverted ROM for the most part (now black/gray/white for kit kat) gapps have not been inverted yet

Very goor rom and camera
Installed and all working fine.
Does this have a "tuned" camera , because I've installed the lg camera mod for kk roms , and the camera in this baked rom seems to take better photo's and focus quicker ?
TIP for Extended power options ("reboot to recovery" for example) :
Go to "developer options" in the settings (about phone > Push the "build number" a few times) and turn on "advanced reboot"
I've installed "pa gapps modular" and "lg keyboard for 4.4" and all working very good .
BTW : Is it possible to use "SuperSU" in next releases ?
Thanks for a rom with good camera and for a rom wich is smooth , fast and reliable

The only camera I have found to work better is Camera Zoom, I don't really recommend using pa gapps on this ROM because it could cause issues down the road. I believe in the past we had SuperSU but I think Travis changed it. I'm not sure if he will put it back or likes it the way it is. I too tried stock Lg Camera and a mod to the stock Lg Camera but for some reason some of the features force closed on the LS980 and I don't like the regular AOSP camera because my images come out blurry and I talked to Travis about this issue as well but since he doesn't have an issue with it on the Verizon G2 he is going to leave the AOSP camera

Since you've built this, would it be possible to build pure AOSP? Or would that be different since this is CM based?
Just curious, since I liked how well it ran on my old phone.

I know he has PA (AOSPA), but I meant AOSP like nexus devices run (obviously built similarly to any other ROM, and wouldn't have GAPPS).

Downloaded fine for me. Installed with philz recovery. Full wipe. No problems so far. Very smooth. Only thing, notification sound could be louder. Thanks very nice!

Wow very impressed! Maybe the best aosp rom I've tried yet.

Well thank you for the kind words... Glad you like it!
The only reason this isn't more popular, is because it is in the ATT development section. Tapatalk doesn't work with ATT dev section for some reason, so you have to use browser. And everyone is used to looking in development, or original development, because not much going on here.

That would be awesome! Would love to try this rom! Maybe you can build it as one ROM with seperate patches for each device variant that has the kernel in it like Mahdi?

putting additional weight for d80x support :good:
Let me know if you need help..but I'm sure you could grab aroma and put the proper details of each respective Carrie boot modem etc. But I'm positive you can find one already set up where you just add your Rom. Maybe look it over. I'll test it for you. ..or if you get permission I could. But it's your Rom bro. Aroma is quite easy to incorporate. Only I used it for Verizon s3 years back for a Rom in its kernel selection and themed apks and res...

Very nice rom @VECTUS. :good: I flashed this about 24 hours ago and it's just smooth. No FC's and everything I've done with my phone works. Very nice, thanks for letting us have this!
Not sure if it works here. But when I want to use a rom that doesn't support d800, I just flash the rom, then flash an aosp kernel for my version phone. May work for those that don't have the d800 until other versions are ready. I to have been using this for a couple days. Very smooth and everything just works. No problems so far. Like it a lot.

I'm itching to flash this ROM. Probably will here in a bit since I'm quite a flash-aholic. I will post back if any problems
Hello. Interested in this ROM but wondering if there is a feature list or just CM features. Sounds great
has anybody tested this on 802with 802 kernel?

Are you on 7/28's build, if so can you test torch app and torch toggle!!
and did you encounter any bugs so far (especially in GPS)?
Thank you guys for your testing and suggestions.

I am on the latest home build, using your sources, no torch app! I nicked the torch app from my hammerhead and it is working fine, it failed to compile in the build. no biggie.
cheers

I believe omni has remaved that feature from their official sources, so you won't find it.

It's still a work in progress, so you can compile it in yourself if you feel like it, but it's not in the official repo's.
I'm unable to download the newest version (the one linked with the download-image in the first post).
Can someone point me into the right direction?

That is weird, the link is for my Omni build folder, it is working for me!!
anyway here is a direct link: omni-4.4.4-20140728-honami-HOMEMADE.zip
Also I wonna ask all of Omni lovers, what do you prefer:
Keep everything as official as possible (as stable as possible)
Merge some features in the ROM (like multiwindow, On-The-Go mode, Battery Saver mode, App Circle sidebar, etc....)
Provide builds of both!! (that would reduce the amount of updates to the half)
Please give me your opinion about this:angel:

Yes, I am. Torch toggle works perfectly, but the app has a bug: if you enable fullscreen and restart the app as requested, there's no way to revert that choice - except by delete deleting the app's data.

Apart from the bug mentioned above, I only noticed a quite warm area in the upper center of the phone's back. But that might be due heavy usage a couple of minutes before my "measurement"..
GPS, however, works perfectly! [emoji41]
I'm only missing some features within the default launcher, but I guess you can't merge what's not written in the Omni base code (e. g. empty homescreen pages or 3 "pages" instead of only 1 in the lower shortcut bar - just like CM does offer both)..

OmniROM 4.4.4 build [2014-08-01] is up!!
Changelog:
- Nothing significant, only upstreaming with official OMNI team changes.
Download Link:
Download folder in OP or directly from here: omni-4.4.4-20140801-honami-HOMEMADE.zip - 224.4 MB
Next build might take sometime, but it should be a customized version of OMNI

A fully customizable "Battery Saver Mode" would be awesome, with control over everything on that is related to battery saving functionality..
Please see attached screenshot (bottom of the picture) - phone number is shown as "unknown". This is probably a bug..

It is feature. It is not reboot, it is soft reload of UI.
But need to improve few things, bcoz
Some time reboot after flash your kernal and somtimes power button won't work properly but that kernel work properly in cm11.
But this ROM 2.3=4.4.4 that much speed, fluid, smooth like ginger bread.
Could you possible to upgrade
aicp 10.0(lollipop 5.1.1)

@Domnesu Salut ! Thanks for sharing and building for i9000. I am in the process of re-rooting my phone (stock GB) and try your ROM . I see that @udhy reported some bugs with your separate kernel and your ROM. Were those bugs fixed or I should stick with stock kernel?
