Hi guys, I'm running nAOSP 5.0 on my Xperia S, this morning I have tried to turn off airplane mode but data wasn't working and my phone was stuck on searching for a provider, so I soft rebooted it by pressing power and volume up, but when I turned it on all the apps that I had moved to the external storage weren't available anymore and I couldn't access any file on it. The phone boots fine and there isn't any other problem though, I can install apps to the internal storage but everything on the external one is unavailable. How can I solve this issue?

Hey Guys,
Earlier today I made a mistake. I'm on 4.2.1 Xylon. I accidentally flashed the wrong kernel (francos) onto my phone. I flashed one for 4.1.2.
After noticing my mistake, I had to use the toolkit to flash on the proper 4.2.1 kernel img as the phone would not turn on.
This worked and my phone turned on and looked ok.
However when I tried to access the gallery, play store, camera, they all didn't work. When I load the gallery, I get error messages saying 'No external storage available'. After seeing this, I went and plugged in my phone to the pc and had a look. The computer couldn't even read the internal memory.
After this I tried formatting the virtual SD card and pretty much reformatted the phone back to it's original state. When that was done, I loaded it up to check if it fixed the memory issues, but they were still there!
Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on how this can be resolved? This is really annoying!

Hello, I've an Xperia S and now the rear camera doesn't work. When I press the camera button appears a black screen and after a few seconds a message 'Gallery is not responding'.
Front camera is working properly.
Before this problem have appeared I had mounted the internal sd card as Mass Storage with SD Mounter.
I've formatted sd and I've copied all the files again, but I still have the same problem. I also have done a factory reset with equal results.
I don't know what else I can do.
I'm having a rooted stock version (4.1.2).
Could it be a problem writing/reading on internal sd ? How can I solve it?

So I have a little problem with my C2005.
I've been using CM11 recently, but I decided to switch to stock and to swap external/internal. Everything worked fine for me until one day I woke up noticing my phone is shut down, and after restart the SD card was unable to load, awaring me as of "damaged". I put my SD to to PC and another phones and any other device is able to mount it.
I tried to format the card and reinstall the stock system to phone, but still nothing. :/
Any ideas?

are you ever check your memory card with software partition tool for your pc? just check is that your sd card still have active partition? if still have you still have a hope to recover that bro?
Try boot into custom recovery if visible there. You can partition, format sdcard because all tools available there.
Hi everyone...i' ve bricked my lte and i need some help...
I transferred some photos from device memory to sd card and then some songs that were there started to have ''unsual'' capacity about 2gb or 3gb and the song names where changed in symbols.
Through restarting the phone about 2 or 3 times the rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4-mini/development/rom-t3030976) started to crash.
In the sd was another custom rom (CarbonRom) so i decided to flash it. When i tried to install the rom zip file, after deleting everything from device memory, couldn't restore anything from sd card.
My problem is that i have no rom in device memory, my device can't be indentified from usb connection (no ODIN connection) and my sd card too.
Sd card when was connected with laptop via usb adaptor for first time, a message appeared and sd needed formatting and i couldn't access it. I tried to find a solution as far as mtp protocol is concerned but with no success.
Is there any way that i can fix it? Thanks in advance...
Can you access download mode ? Remove battery, wait 10 sec, put it back on and press-hold volume down + home and power keys @ same time.
If u get a screen where it says press vol up to continue just do that. Using Odin flash a stock firmware. You can download stock firmware from sammobile.com.

Hello , with kitkat I had no problem with SD , I updated with to lollipop with DE Generic 1279-6978 pre-rooted + dual recovery from picard47 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/son...5-0-242-generic-1279-6978-pre-rooted-t3083764 ) since then phone does not show SD althught it is mounted but if I play music stored there , it is played , also if connected to pc it is not shown , when connected if SD is unmounted and mounted again pc recognizes it but as soon as Inreboot the phonerom it has is disppeared , I have no xposed nor I have changed build.pro or anything , I have tried on other phone and no problem also I have formated several times on the phone and on pc.
It seems it is detected when mounted with phone on , but when phone rebooted it does not detec it

Test: Turn off device, remove Sd, turn the device on and off, and put Sd, and turn on the device.

Hi san13 , thanks but it did not work , on last reboot with sd on , it does not show on storage althought I can browse it with
root explorer nor I can see it on pc , I have tried with anothr sd and happens the same , but both work properly on other devices

At last I found out , it was busybox , as soon as I uninstalled it everything is ok with SD
