When i flash the recovery with that tool.
It says complete than the Phone reboots but the toolkit keeps saying "reboot device" but the device is allready rebooted.
When i try to enter the recovery, it vibrates one time and than reboots normal to the system, so im not able to enter the recovery.

Cool idea but it's not working for me.
Confirmed working on Xiaomi Redmi Note 2, install TWRP recovery and root with ease
Why are 90% of PC tools always Windows exclusive? :/ I wish it were compatible with Linux, too, like Flashtool for Sony devices.

I can't say for sure why the toolkit isn't recognizing your phone, but the crash seems to be because it lost connection with the website when downloading the recovery. It should work if you try again.

the latest TWRP 2.8.7.0 from this tool is having issues with reboot. I cannot reboot with the "reboot" option. The device just hangs.
Edited: Please slide to accept system modification right after booting to TWRP. The issue will be gone.
May be you have to disable your antivirus software?
For those who got reboot problems on the cloud version 2.8.7.0, please use this bilinugal version instead.
Read and DL from here, includes the MT6577 USB VCOM drivers for the Redmi Note2/Prime.

Couldn't find phone
I have a Redmi Note 2 Prime, and the utility couldn't find my phone. It just keeps saying "No Device Found!".
EDIT: I was able to solve this problem by downloading the XIAOMI MIPHONE MANAGER and using the drivers installed with it.

Try to install the MT6577 USB VCOM drivers from the link above.
I had the XiaoMi miphone manager already installed. I Installed Windroid and everything went absolutely smoothly. Loved it.
I installed TWRP and rooted. Fantastic work.
I manage to do it successfully in Windows 8 (64Bit).
# I followed the instructions of this tutorial and installed the MT6577 USB VCOM drivers (Link for the drivers is also there below).
# For me the device manager was like this after successful driver installation.
# Next I installed TWRP from Windroid toolkit (First failed after going into fastboot but doing it again while staying in fastboot worked).
# Then flash supersu.
*** DONE ***
I am not successful to flash the twrp. I flashed the twrp (it said it success)and when I reboot and decided to flash the supersu, it still appear the original mi recovery.
I flashed a EU 5.9.18 version ROM with twrp by your tools before, and OTA updated to the latest 5.10.8 version. It has replaced the twrp recovery.
Anyone has idea with this problem? I am confused.

Why make the process more complicated and require the phone to be hooked up to a pc? Just go into the supersu app and click on "fully unroot".....done. Afterward flash the supersu zip from twrp recovery to re-root. (Yes twrp will install an factory update just the same as factory recovery)

Remember it's a much more thorough process than that? You made a guide saying we have to restore an unrooted stock image and etc. There were a couple of steps that required a PC so I was just curious if a program would ever be able to do that automatically for us.

That was true at the time but since then it's been determined only a full unroot is required. (it MAY be an issue when android 5.1.x comes along) The images were left for folks who need to restore their system from an error. If you have further question lets take it to the system image thread so as not to hijack @WindyCityRockr's thread.

Guys, do NOT use this software without few things first:
-we have not seen source code of this, noone knows what it actually does to your watch
-this software is NOT made for huawei watch, this guy just made few buttons call some adb functions, however they are not customized for hwatch. Any of that can easily hardbrick your watch as far as we know.
Also this mass advertisement is really stupid. Post reported.

You can see the source code here, and the unlock command, as well as the rooting command, is the same for all smartwatches. The TWRP comes from this post, so it's completely safe. Please confirm things before you post.

MuF123 said:
I should confirm things before posting? YOU should confirm that while I have hwatch connected I can press any combination of buttons in your ADB wrapper and nothing bad happens. What about supersu? The option is there, have you tested it with hwatch? Please confirm things before you post.

Nothing bad can happen to a device that's not within the user's control. There are many checks in place to prevent errors, and the TWRP and SuperSU are specific to the HWatch. While I haven't personally tested them, I've confirmed that many users on the forum used that method to root their HWatch, so I implemented that into the toolkit. Go ahead and click any combination of buttons you want.

still working same as 2.6 nothing is wrong only wishing for the back to stock option would be cool and give it like a click twice or 3 times warnings about "you sure you wanna do it? there's no goin back!"
