You can install and use any other keyboard/input method to solve this if you want.

Only wipe cache & dalvik, then flash
I tried its previous versions 2.6, 2.7 and guys it was full of bugs, don't know how is this version. But the interface was really nice. IT always give problems with gaaps, force closes every few mins.
have a full backup before trying this one.

I can tell you my experience with the latest versrion of the Rom.
When the device is locked and u want to unlock it, it takes time after u press the power button or the home button to actual screen on. (Very annoying)
I had fc's on gapps, youtube, contacts and other stuff, but it was until the system settle down and I update everything from playstore.
I didn't test the Rom fully yet but it seems fast and battery friendly. Can't really tell you as I'm about to flash other Rom to test.
P.S: * The dynamic status bar is a really cool thing and works good, I really liked it.

OrionOS is a project based on slim. The name Orion was chosen as a representation of the beauty and vastness of world around us (Too much Philosophy, eh?[emoji14]). Flashed this morning, haven't had any force closes.
Can't find anything major not working.. Haven't tried GPS.
Overall I'd say this is a solid daily driver.

Stuck in setup
Hi, i got stuck on setup, "Google Play services has stopped" on my GT-I9505 , open_gapps-arm-6.0 mini.
I have flashed gapps twice without luck....i get that error after saying "no" to transfer files from another device, and click "go on"

Download the GApps Variant Stock and put this text file in the same GApps file directory and flash it , Will Solve FC Problem.

Okey, do you mean the Gapps android 5.1 stock ? Where should i put the config file, thank's
If i should put config file in Gapps folder before flashing i must restore my back up first then,
because i can not do it in recovery, right ?

No I mean GApps 6.0 Stock ,
1-Create a folder in your SDcard or what ever you want to install from ,
2-Put the GApps.zip file and the text file in the same folder
3-flash the ROM then GApps
Check the attachment

No you don't need to restore , just disconnect from the internet and skip google account , now you can access you phone normally but without Google APPs , download the files to the SDcard
then repeat the clean flash process. with the Stock GApps.

F2FS Conversion procedure
1. Download my TWRP with F2FS support from this link
2. Back up any important data as this will wipe your entire internal storage
3. Flash the recovery
4. Boot into TWRP and go into Wipe > Advanced Wipe
5. Select Data and then hit "Change or Repair File System"
6. Hit Change File System
7. Choose F2FS and slide to confirm
8. Repeat the previous three steps for cache
9. Reboot and move all of your files back over (if restoring through TWRP, make sure to check the option to use rm -rf instead of formatting)

ROM is stable! Just loved it! But i find lag while using the recent apps switcher, and even the status bar animations(While using the recent apps switcher).
I tried using omni switcher but i kinda don't like it for some reason.

Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.

If you faced an issue with boot animation, you can delete the larger boot animation (bootanimation2.zip) from /system/media/ and copy/paste rename the 6mb or 11mb one to bootanimation2.zip.
Flashing instructions
--
First time installation :
1. Boot to TWRP
2. Wipe/Advanced Wipe : Dalvik / ART Cache, System and Data (all but internal storage)
3. Flash the ROM zip
4. Flash the TWRP install zip (in order to keep TWRP after reboot)
5. Reboot to System (You'll see "No OS Installed", this is normal, don't worry)
6. Enjoy the Bootleggers ROM.
If you want root, you need to setup your device first, then boot back to TWRP and flash magisk (the link is above in Downloads section)
If you want to update your bootloader, for whatever reason, you can do so after you have the device up and running.
Updating from a previous build (without loosing any data) :
Don't forget to remove any Substraum overlays before updating
1. Reboot to TWRP
2. Wipe Dalvik / ART Cache & System
3. Flash the ROM zip
4. Flash the TWRP install zip (in order to keep TWRP after reboot)
If you are not rooted, you just have to reboot system
If you are rooted using Magisk:
-> Reboot to recovery (TWRP)
-> Flash Magisk zip
-> Reboot system

Have you checked if the installation zip is ok? How did you flash it (clean/dirty)? What did you flash in which order? What's your device? Which TWRP do you use?

so I installed it in my l720t I gave it Dalvik cache, cache system and data and when you install it it does not go with gapps and I can not install the gapps because it gives me error

Unfortunately I don't have an i720t myself, so i can't help you. If we're lucky someone else with a device like yours can (also) confirm installation works or doesn't work. Until then, you could try to flash OptLos 16 from here

I've seen users reporting it's running on i720t devices.
I've tried to use this rom yesterday. So fast and smooth, but don't have gapps into, and have no space in system partition, cause this error "70" for whatever gapps you try to install. Some issues like "long press" the left button don't work. I love It, and want to use It but without possibility of to use gapps turns impossible to me for now. Congrats for the great work

You can Resize the System Partition after flashing this Rom in TWRP itself, after that you have the full system size avaiable.

I had the same problem with gapps on i9505, clean install but couldn't get gapps working? Agree its a nice rom but that seems to be a bit of a problem. Tnx for the work anyway
