Hello everyone,
Recently I updated my Samsung Galaxy Grand to the official 4.2.2 rom, and since then I'm unable to root my phone.
I flashed CWM Touch Recovery using Odin 3.07, but whenever I boot my phone into recovery mode, the logo shows up then a blank screen for 2 seconds and it restarts to boot normally.
any idea why this is happening?
Try flashing another CWM trough CWM official app in the play store ,

Try this advanced recovery...install through Odin... I'm sure it will work...

Sorry for being late to answer, but non of the suggestions above worked for me.
I even tried One Click Root but that didn't work neither
I rooted the phone previously when I was on 4.1.2 but now I can't on 4.2.2
I really need to root my phone

it might be cuz u r using the leaked firmware or whatever it called ( u flashed the 4.2.2 firmware from odin )
here is my suggestion ... i had the same prob as u...
flash 4.1.2 and then let it update normally from mobile to 4.2.2
and after this ... take this special edition of cwm ... ( 100% work ) link : ( https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B_SFFvHY6sAFRllBQTQ1RzY2am8/edit ) and flash it.
( cwm will run only for 1 time ... so u have to flash fix recovery to let it run anytime )
after that ... flash fix-recovery.zip using cwm link : ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/49z2ywg226pqp5x/Fix-Recovery.zip )
*note* you should transfer the fix-recovery file to your mobile just after you update to 4.2.2 and before u start all of this installation guide *note*

add the i9300i-cwm-recovery-6.0.4.6-cn.tar to PDA and press start
after then copy the CWM_Root_4.3_For_Samsung.zip to phone and in recovery mode flash the zip.
Its all, you have a rooted device now.
Some users are worried about unrooting the device. If want so just download this file and odin it, here you are again unroot.

One user says that his net is not working, I don't think so. just once format(factory reset) your phone, your problem will be solved and device will remain rooted.

Hello, has not had a problem with the S3 Neo, you will not freeze the screen after you give the root or working as normal

but i can go to recovery mode and change a recovery language
my language is English but i m rooting mobile and so change language English to chains,
How does she do now my original language?

Install last firmware from sammobile then retry.
This work here with firmware I9300IUBUAND1.

Hello I put the phone in download mode and flashed cwm recovery. BUt when i try to boot into recovery mode it goes into stock android recovery mode instead of cwm. I guess without booting to cwm recovery i cant root my phone. Also if i do try to update cwm root file using stock android it gives a message e verification failed. Please help.

I can't root my S3 neo after Firmware update
I have Samsung Galaxy S3 neo(GT-I9300I) as my secondary Phone,I tried rooting my phone using the above method,But I was unable to do so.I have stock android 4.3 JB.My baseband version is I9300IDDUAND2 and also Build no. JLS36C.I9300IDDUANE1 .I have tried everything I could have done.I tried odin 3.07,3.09 and 1.87,and also Kingo Root and so on....But still no luck .CWM is not installing.After I goto Odin and enter download mode,I press the Start button after setting the PDA file.Odin detects the mobile too.I have the CWM File in my device too now,But -still,can anyone tell where to put the file exactly?? (I have it on SD/<here> ,ExtSD/<here> in both extracted and Un-extracted form) .Am I doing Something wrong??Please help!It boots to Stock Recovery mode,and have only 4 options,When I select "Update From SD"And Select CWM File,It always shows "e: signature verification failed",And CWM Recovery mode does not even come.No option of flashing too,What to do???????

Hye everyone..Need ur guys help because i'm out of idea here..
My phone currently running custom rom wanamlite 4.3 and twrp...
While using my pen to crop picture,it suddenly hang..i try restart my phone and then it stuck at Samsung N7100 logo (not bootloop)
Pull out battery and try again still same problem..Tried enter twrp then just appeared twrp logo then it automaticaly restart and stuck again at Samsung N7100 logo..
Just only can enter download mode...
Tried installed new/another cwm/twrp through odin failed...
Tried installed latest firmware 4.4 kitkat from sammobile also failed..
Tried installed 4.3 from sammobile also failed..
Tried install custom rom wanamlite again through odin and boom another failure..
Right now i'm trying to use kies...
Please help me if anyone had counter this problem before and have solution for this...

Did you put the ROM from sammobile to "Bootloader" tab also? If yes, try to put the ROM file to PDA TAB.

I put bootloader at bl..didnt try yet put rom at bootloader..already try put rom at pda..will try put rom at bootloader..

still cant flash...
My phone got malware and I search for solution on google and they said its theres fake setting apk installed on system/app and i deleted the BRsettings.apk . But i did the wrong pick cause i deleted the real settings apk . And now i procced in flashing firmware . I found custom firware for mtk6572 and i flash it using cmw and its upsidedown. I end up on flashing back my back up firmware but after i restored my back up my phone stucks on boot logo. What should I do? Already downloaded all the rom found in the internet still dont work. I always encounter "storage mismatch" something like that and "dram bla bla" . Any one who have stock rom of this phone? can u give a copy of your back up pls

Hi there !
i'm new here at xda forums, i have a serious problem
i have flashed TimEm Rom v2 in my galaxy j200f (J2 2015)
it didn't work so i tried to flash lineage v14 nougat and also didn't work :crying:
when i wanted to reflash the original firmware by samsung from sammobile it shows me some kind of bulls**t
when i flashed the firmware with odin and i rebooted my device it shows me erasing with the android logo and dosent boot, i think its some kind of virus cuz twrp shows me that no OS is installed (i can access download mode and recovery) i dont know what to do i tried to flash the original firmware 100 times
Please Help !
