Same here. My prime was due in a few months. I would have paid for that anyways. So essentially $100.00 in my scenario.

I paid £99 and I am really happy with the phone. Probably deserves more than others and hopefully at some point there is any new door open for developtment!

I paid $200. Without prime 64GB

I grabbed mine off ebay for $250 US, came with 1yr prime, and Amazon dropped the price to $189.... seemingly minutes after I made the purchase.
I bet that ebay seller was smiling! .... I was not! Grrrrrr

Bought mine off eBay unlocked version for $186 including shipping. No prime but I already have it with student discount. $49 per year. Phone came with extra car charger and 2 cases. This person was trying to get rid of it because they didn't know you can get Gapps on it. Their loss.

Edit. Sorry I thought you bought on Amazon and then they dropped the price. My bad.
phone replying.
Call Amazon and tell them they should price match. Or you could have cancelled and reorded right then. They don't charge you until it ships I believe.

$179 with a year of Prime. Honestly, if I hadn't been able to install Google Play, I would have returned it.

Best place to purchase GSIII?

Hey guys, my contract for the OG Epic 4g ended yesterday, and i'm in the market for a new phone. I'm leaning towards the GSIII over the EVO LTE. So...where is the best place to purchase one? BB? Sprint? Radio Shack?
Should i get insurance? I have assurion from spirint and they were good to me. I dropped my phone and they replaced it with refurb no questions asked.
Let me know guys
thanks
I got mine at RadioShack for $150. Their insurance is still $6/month with $100 deductible. Coverage sounds same as Sprint.

Why is everyone buying from a B&M store, when you can buy it online (amazon, letstalk, etc.) without having to pay over $50 in sales tax???

can you purchase insurance through online retailers other than sprint?
I'm assuming that's why people go B&M stores...becuase they want their insurance over Sprints.
btw, Sprint insurance is 8bucks a month.

I bought from best buy and I didn't pay $50 in taxes?
Actually if you go to best buy and price match Walmart, then get the phone freedom $50 gift card, you end up paying $98+ tax. I only paid tax on the $98. Hth

i just got mine on Wednesday, from best buy for 112.87.
they price matched radio shack for 149.99 plus i got the 50 bucks phone freedom gift card.
fyl: when you re-up your service the insurance is now $11 a month.
What's the $50 Best Buy Freedom Gift Card? Do I just go in there and ask them for it while renewing? Or has this deal expired? I tried looking at Best Buy website and it says something about a deadline being 02/12/2012.
I originally ordered on Letstalk for 169 and I had a 10% coupon code I got charged CA tax and it was $194 after everything. I cancelled that order and ordered it on radioshack where I paid 149 with no tax and free next day shipping.
I wish I would of thought about going to bestbuy and have them price match radioshacks online special. I actually tried to have radioshack in store price match their own price didn't work though. But I would of had to pay tax. So, I'm fine with my $149 and waiting 2 days to get it

best buy
Best Buy hands down, I got my phone on the 21st of June and they even priced matched Radio shack once the phone went on sale.
Best Buy wants to charge me $56 in sales tax. After a price match to radio shack, the phone comes out to be over $200! Not worth it!
I'll just stick to Amazon Wireless.

Ive been actually thinking about switching to Verizon's Share everything plan with their GSIII.
Since Verizon is better, shouldn't i just go with their service? The phones are exactly the same right?
Amazon has it for 119.99. i might try to get best buy to price match that. not sure they will but maybe.

so then my question would be, what instore price matches online because bestbuys website say they dont and radio shack doesnt either..........anyone knows who price matches online?

Samsung just emailed me 50%off any accessories on there website!!!!!

What a surprise!!! My day has gotten 20x better!!!! It's up to 10 items!!!! All 50% off with no minimum price. Plus free shipping on the order of its over $50. I am taking full advantage of this offer. Buying anything and everything available. Can't wait. Love you Samsung!!!!
And it was because I'm a registered Samsung customer. I signed up when I got my phone!!! Happy shopping

I got this too, but I'm probably not going to use it, since samsung.com is overpriced retail AND you have to pay shipping for orders under $50, so you either break even or win by a tiny amount compared to just going with Amazon prime.
Example:
samsung.com: mhl adapter is $40 ($20 with 50% off) + $4 shipping == $24
amazon.com: mhl adapter is $27 + free shipping == $27.
EDIT2: And... the official MHL adapter is now selling for under $20 from top-sellers on Ebay with free shipping... So, no reason to buy from samsung.com really.

I upgraded to the Galaxy S III on Monday of this week, it arrived Tuesday and when I registered I got the 50% off code in my email. On Wednesday I bought the top of the line Bluetooth Headset, the HM 6000, it retails for $59.95 on their site, but with the coupon it only cost me $29.95, plus $3.95 shipping and $2.50 Tax, not too bad!
thanks for the heads up!
Oh awesome, I'll have to go register and see if they send me one. Thanks for the info!

Lets Talk - Note 2 for 206.99

Just ordered my Note 2 from LetsTalk.com for 206.99
They have a sale on it for 229.99 until 12/31
Plus I added a coupon code at checkout for 10% off which was another -23.00
For a total of 206.99
The coupon code is: TALK4TEN
Also my upgrade isn't available until 1/1/13, but I was able to have my order placed on hold until then for the same price, just had to chat with a rep.
Amazon Wireless $149.99 with a new 2 year contract. They did had it for $99 last week.
Currently it's on backorder 1-2 weeks with amazon. That price is only for new lines, not upgrades, upgrades is still 199.99. LetsTalk has it in stock. Either way, still a much better price than through sprint.
Also no tax for a lot of states, which is a savings of another $60~ish for most states, as new lines and upgrades tend to charge the tax on the retail price of the device.

It may say backorder but amazon usually ships within 3 to 4 days, on top of that bb will price match online retailers and to me getting it locally is always better. Also I've had good experience with geek squad warranty.

Like its been said before, even with their expected dates being couple weeks they usually ship within couple days. Plenty of people have reported this on several forums. Plus you can always check if your local bb will price match the new price on a renewal something that a lot of bb stores have been matching.

Huge Moto 360 Sale for 179 at Amazon and Best Buy

This is the link on Slickdeals. Personally, I want to wait for the newer one, which is likely why they're having this on sale in the first place, but this is super tempting. If anyone wants to take advantage of this deal, here you go! It's taking me all of my self-control to not make the purchase.

Same deal here, metal band, plus student discount, plus, a few giftcards with some lingering balances. Got the metal band for $170, finally pulled the trigger.
So after I just purchased the one with leather band yeaterday. I noticed online that they dropped the price for the one with the steel band to 220. To it back and made the swap.

Several people over on Slick Deals have confirmed they have returned their cheap android phones for a refund without a problem. They've also posted receipts, I think the only reason it works is because you don't get a discount on the phone all the discounts are listed under the watch. So unless you returned the watch there's nothing to charge...
Oh nice!

Exactly what I did. Around $102 out the door. Also, doing the Verizon Trade-In deal on the ZTE Zinger that will give me a $100 VZW credit that I can swap for cash with my parents. So in the end, the Moto 360 only cost me like $2!!! :good:

I discovered that contacting the customer service, I didn't understand why I had to pay this fee... They don't warn you !
