Welcome to the OFFICIAL thread of gzr roms, Tesla and Validus ROM for the T989/D and skyrocket. Build's are usually updated on a weekly or wheneverwefeellikely basis. All credit goes to Team Ground Zero and all our hardworking Devs. Team Ground Zero is built upon the willingness to learn, create and socialize on Android. Creators of Validus, a custom AOSP ROM with many features created in house as well as pulled from CyanogenMod, SlimROMs, Paranoid Android and others. Members are also dev/maintainers for other popular ROMs. Enjoy your stay! Also, unofficial builds from source will not be supported. You assume all responsibility for anything that may happen and Team Validus cannot and will not be held responsible for anything that may happen to your device as a result of flashing a rom.

****Please Understand that the CM12 Theme Engine is in its early stages and some things may not work or function as they should. Use at your own risk and don't complain about themes in this thread. Our Team has worked really hard to theme this ROM the way we like it....The CM team has to get their theme engine bugs worked out, we are just happy to have it in there to play around with for now.....ALSO, please don't ask us about anything to do with xposed framework as Validus does not support xposed. Use it at your own risk and please don't report ANY bugs you may encounter while using it.

alright so i formated data , cache , system , to f2s2 and installed rom , gapps then reboot system now a bootloop ?then again after i flashed stock from odin i didnt touch the formats and they were ext4 still have bootloop.. :I did i do something wrong ? btw the boot animation is wonderful

even though i tried on both chets twrp and latest official one still getting bootloops :/

I would reformat and try not using f2fs.. Its still alittle buggy for some.. I don't have any issues.. If you could tell me the steps you are taking.. Also when you flash try flashing the ROM twice then boot then flash gapps.. Again, make sure you are doing a COMPLETE clean install..

***another EDIT: it booted on and after setup it rebooted by itself and now its in a bootloop -.-

If it restarts in the middle of optimizing then just let it reboot and go through its thing again.. It shouldn't but if it does..

What are your partitions currently? When you select wipe, advance and check each partition. Also when you were changing the partitions to f2fs did you do them individually or did you select all the partitions you wanted and changed it that way? They should all be done on an individual basis. Also if it keeps giving you troubles I would go with what Chris was saying and revert back from f2fs. Me personally I've had good luck with f2fs, but our hercs have minds of their own lol

if you are on Sultans recovery then you must flash original TWRP recovery first.. Then complete wipe like @raptor170 said

This is a very good ROM - been on it for a few days (running f2fs) and it's very solid. Most importantly, all major functions are working (zero issues with calls, data, WiFi, TMo visual voice mail, photosphere camera, etc.)
There are some minor issues in the UI such as the recent panel not always popping up, but I think that's a known issue with all current LP ROMs? But nothing that breaks phone functionality for me.
Came from Liquid Smooth and no regrets at all. Thanks for the hard work.

What is King Kang?
King Kang is essentially a hybrid ROM - its a mixture of AOKP, CyanogenMod, and ParanoidAndroid, bringing all their customizations to one rock solid and quick ROM. These numerous features combine to create a blend of features not seen anywhere else before. Make the user interface yours with this ROM. Change the DPI the ROM runs at, tweak the interface to your hearts content, while enjoying great battery life and stability. Never before have these features combined to create a ROM as feature-packed as King Kang. Credits for the features goes directly to the teams responsible - AOKP and CM for their respective work, and ParanoidAndroid for their wonderful DPI on-the-fly modifications. Without these teams, this ROM would not be possible.
This is a merge of AOKP, CM10, and Paranoid Android done by DAGr8. Thanks to him
This is an UNOFFICIAL ROM. If kittens start to raid your house in mass, then I am not responsible (also, take a picture and post it on Reddit for archival purposes)

Please report any bugs to this thread, and I'll see if I can fix them, I threw this together for fun, and didn't do that much testing.
I also became really lazy and kanged Team KANG's boot animation.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to the request of the Paranoid Android team, I have removed ParanoidPreferences.apk.

Definitely going to watch the progression of this, well done on the port sir
Can't get it to boot. Tried wiping and flashing already. I flashed the cid boot animation and it doesn't come up. Stays on black screen.
This is what I'm doing wiping everything > Flashing Rom > Flashing Gapps > Flashing Boot animation.
Been doing battery pulls and trying again but it wont boot for me. :/

Try putting the bootanimation in the ROM zip. Keep in mind, I will be releasing 15.9.0 later today with a boot animation, you will not need to do this with that release.

If you decide whether to flash a rom by checking the disclaimer portion, then iam afraid you have registered in the wrong forum buddy.
As per my understanding, XDA is a forum for devs and those "users" who are willing to learn and share help the devs with their bug reports , share ideas etc.
You should remain with stock that your manufacturer stick it up to you.

You can use any 4.3 gapps infact, the only benefit of slim gapps is that you get TRDS with those.

There are many great ROMs out there, with the more popular ones being AOSPA (ParanoidAndroid), CM10.1, and AOKP. Being all great ROMs, it is sometimes difficult to choose which one you want to run. Why choose when you can have all three? P.A.C.-Man ROM is combination of all three ROMs, so you don't need to keep switching or deciding between which one to flash. Get all of the features in one ROM! The sources are here.. Enjoy
Attention! Because this is a mashup of CM10.1, AOKP MR1, and AOSPA, there are some settings that might conflict with others because they are duplicate. Please keep that in mind before you begin to wonder if there is a bug in this ROM. Thanks.

Version 4.3
Based off of Jellybean 4.3
for the LG Optimus L7...brought to you by bart452
Paranoid + AOKP + CyanogenMod = PACman
Features
based off of AOSP Jellybean 4.3
latest CM10.2
latest AOKP
latest AOSPA (ParanoidAndroid 3.97)
all settings from CyanogenMod 10.2, Android Open Kang Project , and AOSPA 3.97
PIE navigation controls
Hybrid Settings
Per-App Layout
Per-App Color
much more...flash and find out!
How to Install
1. Download ROM and Gapps.
2. Unzip boot.img from zip file onto computer.
3. Place rom and gapps onto phone. Check the md5sum file and see if it matches to zip file. You can search md5sum in play store for an app.
4. Reboot to recovery.
5. If you are coming from a different rom or from stock rom wipe Data, System, Cache, Dalvik. If not skip this and go to step 6.
6. Wipe Cache and Dalvik.
7. Flash rom and gapps in that order.
8. Reboot to bootloader. Should be an option in both cwm and twrp to do this. Don't hit the reboot sytem button in twrp after flashing. Go back to home screen. Should say fastboot. If not go to fastboot.
9. Connect phone to computer. If in windows you will need to have installed htc usb drivers, adb and fastboot. Link To get everything working here. This link gives a link to linux as well.
9. Enter this command from a terminal (go to start and type 'cmd' to get a terminal or command prompt as it is called in windows) in your computer 'fastboot flash boot boot.img' This has to be done from the same directory you unzipped the file from step 2. Enter without quotation marks.
10. Reboot phone.
If you experience any problems after installing a new rom, try to first wipe all then see if problem persists.

Official?
Any news when the official release for d2att? Is this UNofficial release good for DD?
currently running 2.9 and was wondering if it's worth the jump?
Nice and smooth so far but only issue for me is the battery drain. Anyone else having this issue? I was told to try lowering the clock speed which I did but that did'nt help. Any ideas??
Maybe try another kernel?

Well so far I like it but I have no root access.
I had a rooted phone and downloaded your rom and your gapps and your su and flashed them all at the same time in twrp.
Got my apps back from the play store and went to back them up with titbu and it wouldn't run due to no root.
This is a replacement phone I got yesterday. I did run this app to root it and install twrp on it
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1746665
Now clicking on SU in the app drawer it tells me that there is SU binary installed SU can't install it and I need to manually re-root if I upgraded to 4.3

Sorry your having troubles! Here's what I do. U could do what u just said or.. Flash rom , then gapps, then su. One after the other. Don't wipe anything between flashing each. Just completely wipe the first initial time before flashing the ROM.

Thanks for the reply
I want to say this issue is my fault I didn't download the su file in the OP I used an older one. Hence my issue. So when I flashed to correct one I have root.
Now I got another issue the Camera doesn't work. Tried several and they all say can't connect to the camera

Here we have my version of AOKP....
For any of you guys that have had a HTC device you will have more than likely heard of
IceColdJelly by LorD ClockaN
Well this is IceColdJelly but compiled for the Galaxy S4... LorD ClockaN has very kindly let me use his github... its got nothing else added yet, but I will be looking at adding more features as and when I can....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Code:
ICJ Build 1.5
AOKP updates
Added Notification Behavior
Updated Keyboard so it looks better in Dark AOKP
ICJ Build 1
Initial release.....
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Whats Not Working?
You tell me...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU NEED CWM 6.0.3.3 OR LATER TO BE ABLE TO FLASH THIS ROM... OTHER RECOVERIES MAY WORK, BUT I AM ONLY RECOMMENDING CWM!
If you post in the thread saying you've tried to flash with the wrong recovery and it doesn't work correctly you will be publicly ridiculed for not reading the OP and for basically being a Muppet....You have been warned
1. Download rom ... Duh! and then Gapps
2. Put rom on SD card
3. Make sure you have latest Gapps on there too
4. Make sure you have recovery installed (The latest Official CWM is recommended... at least 6.0.3.3... look here for latest http://www.clockworkmod.com/rommanager)
5. Factory Wipe/Data Reset, Wipe Cache and Wipe Dalvik Cache, then go to mounts and storage and format system
6. Flash Rom...
7. Some have suggested you have less issues if you let rom boot up before you flash Gapps... I'll leave that up to you
8. Flash Gapps
9. Some like to wipe caches again... If you normally do that, then do it
10. Reboot
11. Enjoy the Rom...
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Download the Rom Here
I've linked to the Slim Gapps as they seem to work best with the Dark AOKP feature...
Download the Gapps Here
Github Here and Here

Thanks also goes out to
Massive thanks to @LorD ClockaN for his help when compiling this and letting me use his github of course
AOKP Team
CM Team
DutchDanny - for getting me started and being patient with me while I was asking silly questions
BinDroid Team for loads of help when I first started
XDA for just about everything else
Finally my girlfriend for putting up with me being sat on here for hours on end lol
If you think you need to be thanked, just let me know

Would it be possible at some stage to add disable hw button lights? Right now I have to use a script and then another program to run it at startup because cm kernel don't support init.d
Awesome rom! Would be cool of you could include the gesture unlock that is in your latest Pac Build.

If you put this file on /system/etc/init.d/ with perms you'll get an initsupport.txt file under /data and see that init.d works.
https://app.box.com/s/5ct52rshou552m9m0i9v
I'm not sure about the app you mentioned,it push an init.d file named testinitd with only 6 0 0 as perms (?) that attempt to write an initsupport.txt file under /storage/emulated/0/.
I can't really say about perms and the way is named the file, maybe it's ok with only rw- --- --- and no numbers as prefix but from my little tests with my own init scripts I can't get anything written to sdcard either.
Dunno I'm pretty new on this device maybe it's the way sdcard is mounted (its path but probably not as the same script works with script manager) on cm based rom or init.d process is too early for sdcard to be mounted but init.d works.
Going to try this
