20B OTA UPDATE
D85110r_00-D85120b_00_update.zip
MD5: 204ca98458c4e2f14c35f6694f1f8b3d
This is the 10R -> 20B OTA update zip. Rather than waiting for it to push to your phone from T-Mobile.. you can manually install it as long as you are on STOCK 10R and have STOCK RECOVERY and are ROOTED. Other than root you must be 100% stock. If you deleted any stock apps that were in /system or installed xposed etc there is a very good chance you will not pass the updates system check before the update actually flashes. The update zip patches pre-existing files rather than adding full new files.. this helps keep the OTA zips file size down... and is also why ALL system files and your kernel/boot partition is checked before it flashes. The zip will FAIL if you have TWRP installed.
1. Download the OTA update zip from the D851 20B folder HERE
2. Copy the update zip into the cache folder (this is why you need root) then rename it: update.zip
3. Open Phone dialer > dial 3845#*851# > select WCDMA-Only -- DM/FOTA Test -- internal -- update
your phone will reboot then show: "Installing system update" with the lil green android guy. wait... done.
You will lose root after the update and be 100% stock again.
20B KDZ Method
T-Mobile D851 20B KDZ
To flash the KDZ manually read the thread HERE. Flashing KDZ will remove TWRP... you'd have to re-root then reinstall TWRP (if you even wanted it of course).
LG Mobile Support Tool
Download this Windows-based tool to update to 20B. This tool auto-downloads the KDZ and installs it for you. Install... run and follow the onscreen directions. If the app doesn't seem to start the upgrade try manually selecting: Options > Upgrade Recovery
@Chrishup has posted a rundown of how he updated using the Mobile Support Tool HERE.

Custom Rom
LGD851.20L-ollipop.I.UNICRON-iNb4TMO.zip
MD5: f1de51acffe17435c8172b4b0cd28cbc
This rom/kernel is not to be repacked or used as the "base" in your #yoloswag420 rom.
*This rom comes with a kernel so a boot.img or boot zip is NOT needed.
LGD851.20L-ollipop.I is a fusion of LG's 5.0 and 5.0.1, including some 20B bits. It has all things "T-Mobile" removed from the rom (except APN). If you don't need any T-Mobile features and want a minimal/debloated stock LG Lollipop experience this may be the rom for you.
LGD851.20L-ollipop.I's UNICRON build is most likely the final build for "v1". LGD851.20L-ollipop.II will start up when newer LG builds are available, most likely with Android 5.1.
Few Highlights:
Debloated
Stock LG Lollipop, no "tmo-ness"
Built-in PrimeTether
Rooted + Busybox
Updated Firmware
Ext-SD card Write Mod
Built-in kernel certified by savoca®

[ROM][D802][D80220H]Original open eur 80220H kdz to flashable zip

Hello,
This thread just to share two roms I made from original kdz D80220H.
I've tested each, installed from TWRP 2.8.1.1, after wipe system, data, cache and dalvick.
Both can be flashed on 16Go or 32 Go device.
---
The first one is a pure stock rom without root and with the stock recovery, that can be flashed from a custom recovery.
Root and custom recovery will be lost after the flash of this one .
For the root, for my part, I let TWRP 2.8.1.1 do so by following, by accepting the proposal he made to me at my request to reboot system after the flash. I was so easily rooted again.
For the custom recovery, the patched kernel does not yet exist for this version, installing a custom recovery you would lose the benefit of the news that may contain the kernel of this new firmware version.
Download link of this pure stock rom D80220H open eur, without root and with the stock recovery:
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=95784891001610945
---
And the second is the same, but prerooted (SuperSu preinstalled) and allowing to keep the custom recovery.
Custom recovery will be kept after the flash of this one .
It's prerooted and with 20D Knock code Cloudyfa kernel integrated (simple stock KC kernel, just patched).
This pure stock rom D80220H open eur, prerooted and friendly custom recovery can be downloaded here:

Thank's to:
@thecubed for his [python][Tool] LG Compressed KDZ Extractor
@cybojenix for his tool (system merger)
@bullghost for his windows GUI version [TOOL] KDZ and TOT Extractor
and for the one prerooted, friendly custom recovery:
@Cloudyfa for the kernel and permission to integrate it, @bender_007 and @citytrader for their advice for the integration of patched kernel, @autoprime for his ioroot25 that inspired the way I proceeded to preroot, @Chainfire for his SuperSu
---
Info, explanations:
To have a custom recovery in the G2 in KK version, we need to have a downgraded bootloader in JB version, and a patched kernel for being able to boot behind this bootloader.
Downgraded bootloader, because KK bootloader was patched by LG to stop the loki exploit (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2292157, https://github.com/djrbliss/loki). So we have to use the one that is lokiable, the JB one.
The patched kernel (https://github.com/JackpotClavin/an...mmit/7b6187a0e5fb8ca59888cacf5f5b863baa8d1064) can only be produced if the sources were published, and it is not the case for 20H. The latest version released back to the 20D:
https://www.lg.com/global/support/opensource/opensourceList?types=ALL&search=d802.
However, the latest patched kernel available (the one containing knock code) should work fine.
But if changes (improvements) were made on the 20H (I do not know if this is the case, and I don't think it is), the benefit of these innovations would be lost with the installation of an older kernel.
Note: It was the same situation with the 20f and the 20G.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2667227
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=56082714
note:
Recently codefire team realized a new way to get around locked bootloader.
This system (BUMP) allow to keep the bootloader in kk version but obliged to bump kernel and recovery.

ioroot works well, i tried it, with adb sideload.
It was reported that stump root worked too, in 20G, I don't know with 20H.
is anybody know whats the cl from 20f to 20h? or its just small apps updates?
I still have root after flash this because the recovery flashed after super su

These are for the H815 variant only. Files are from software version 20B (Android 6.0 Marshmallow).
Included below: TWRP-flashable stock rom, boot, modem and bootloader zips. KDZ and individual images are also included.
*There is NO anti-rollback qfuse used in this update... you can downgrade using LGUP HERE. You can also use LGUP to flash the 20B KDZ.
Please do not mirror my files!
20B NOTES...
1. Knock code should be back.
2. Not sure what else has changed yet...
Requirements:
You must have TWRP 2.8.7+ installed to use these files. Thanks to Dees_Troy as always for that. And, of course, you must have your bootloader unlocked for TWRP to work. Currently only H815 EU and (some) SEA variants have official unlock through LG's unlock page HERE. Please do not ask if "model x" is supported... did you unlock via LG's official unlock tool? Yes? then you can use it. No? then you can't... and you should just flash the KDZ instead.
If you have a locked bootloader and want to upgrade... just use LGUP and flash the KDZ. Don't risk it with FlashFire.
Install Directions:
These directions should be used by everyone who wants a rooted 20B system. Don't want root? Then it's probably easiest to just flash the stock KDZ... or just skip the supersu zip in the directions below.
1. Download the boot, modem, bootloader and system zips listed under the download section and place them on internal or external sdcard.
2. Also download the latest SuperSu zip from HERE [Thanks to Chainfire for his auto-patching boot.img version!]
3. (re)Boot into TWRP... don't wipe anything.
4. Backup current partitions: boot, system, data, efs
5. Install boot, bootloader, modem, system and supersu zips- ADD SUPERSU LAST! (Install > select zip > press "add more zips" > select next zip > repeat)
6. After all 5 zips finish flashing you can reboot! (if TWRP asks if you want to install SU, NO!!!)

FAQ
Q: My device shows the wrong software version in settings.. how do I fix this?
A: This is related to the "cust" (customer) partition on your phone. Using TWRP or a "Root Explorer" type app you can delete the current files in your Cust partition then you should have the proper version showing. I am not a fan of adding or flashing the cust partition... so I don't include updated cust partitions in the flashables. The cust folder/partition is in the root of your main directory.
Thanks Boss! U the man, as usual...

I suggest you add a "NEW" on the title of the thread! because it seems the old thread! I had not noticed it at the beginning!

Downgrade:
To downgrade you can use TWRP to restore your backups... and then just flash the matching bootloader zip and modem zip from my previous threads... or just check the CODEFIRE DIRECTORY link for previous stock files.
OR
Use LGUP HERE to flash a previous KDZ version. KDZ will remove TWRP but easy enough to reinstall that.

Awesome! If I'm already running Imperium 5.0 and just want the updated bootloader and modem (currently using the 20d variants), I'm guessing I can just backup and flash the modem and bootloader zips in TWRP? No need to completely return to stock/install the full zip?
Potentially silly question, but I'd rather ask than end up doing irreparable damage.

correct.. there is no need to flash full unless u want stock(or stock rooted) lg. an updated modem/bootloader may or may not agree with the system/rom you're using though... sometimes things change where the "rom-base" must be updated to work with the new modem or bootloader. but worst case you just flash the old modem/bootloader back. If I had to guess though I think it should work for ya.

Great, thank you.
is it also valid to use newer versions of SU and TWRP as listed in the OT?
In detail I have

and
UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.76-20160630161323.zip
I just want to verify, because in a german forum is an ongoing discussion if the 20g version can be rooted or not (or only till 20d)...
Thanks!

H815 EU version.
Mobile data properly working.
Well, about 5 hours to download H81520G-Flashable.COMPLETE.zip
I bet the download is going to stall...
It seems downloads.codefi.re is really slow, and no download manager supported.
After days of use, I can confirm that the version 20g greatly improves the stability and lifetime of the battery. also reduces the heat.
Using 20g kdz ITA on H815 no brand EU serial 601.
Is this kdz working fine in brand phone? If do not show a message about software incompatibilities
Does xposed work on this version? There was a time when xposed didn't work on stock marshmallow rom without them being deodexed. Is that time over?
Edit: yes, those times are over.
Please...mirror KDZ, thanks

Cm13 does not bring its own baseband, i dont remember what bootloader/modem i flashed last to my device as it was a while back, i think it was v20d, but i have same baseband as well, so i guess they dont do a lot of changes.

There's a lot of trouble with mobile data on CM13 nightly. Toggle on/off air plane mode is necessary to get your mobile data. After I made an issue in JIRA one of the ideas was that it was an outdated modem. In the mean time I've installed the Omni Rom (same baseband as in this thread) and there are no problems with mobile data. So it's a CM13 problem. The Jira issue is assigned to a developer, but it's silent for quite a while.

I run the same modem firmware and have to toggle airplane mode verry verry rarely, maybe once a month or so when turning off wifi. This may be some heißenbug hidden in the ril but in my case i dont care a lot obviously.
Which dev is assigmed to the issue you filed? Is it daniel hillebrand (codeworkx)?

LG-H930 OPEN EU 20D ROMHello everyone
I had to change my Smartphone because of my broken G6. So I came to the wonderful V30. Now that Oreo was officially released and there were problems in combination with stock rom and a 100% working TWRP, I thought I would continue my work on the G6 here.

LG rolled out OREO

One last question about that.. You've actually tested SuperSu with this Oreo ROM? With the Oreo KDZ, someone couldn't get SuperSu to work. It messed up the phone. They had to disassemble the phone, disconnect the battery, and then use Magisk. I don't know if it's just that one person or not. Just checking before you get complaints.
I was waiting for this, thanks. I will try it today.

I'm a little confused by that. We do not have "official" TWRP, yet... That link clearly leads to UNOFFICIAL TWRP. (You called it "working" TWRP elsewhere, which is correct.) You also have TWRP links listed twice in the same paragraph? I think perhaps some of your description is copied and pasted from another thread you did? Just a little editing will fix all that.

Here is my report:
Everything works. (there is a data switch icon, you can choose different network modes and polish language is there, if anyone was wondering )
Thinq update is there.
I rooted it with magisk, had to flash magisk twice for some reason 'cause i had error that bootloader was changed or something like that.
Xposed works, V4A works (installed through magisk).
ROM has TIM mobile branding and some bloatware apps that I unninstalled.
Staying on this ROM, thank you very much.

I think I know the person who had to disconnect the battery of the V30 (H930)
after trying to install SuperSU.
I am also curious to know if others have had the same problem.
The Rom that you quoted:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-v30/development/h930-lg-v30-european-market-h930-t3779076
is no TIM Brand unlike, I hope I have misread the last post, this is a TIM.

Maybe I expressed myself badly.
What you posted is not TIM, which I'm using and I thank you, I was talking about the one posted by westwood24.
As I said, in the last post of this thread, if I have not read wrong, there was talk of TIM.
There is no branding. I think he has dirty flashed and has still the branding
The kdz for all of Europe is the same, the thing is, depending on your Carrier the ROM will enable/disable certain Settings, or Download certain Apps (or not).
More information about this in the /OP partition of your Phone ^^
I didn't do dirty flash, but my V30 originally had TIM branding so what SGCMarkus said is true (i think).

I've installed this rom on my UK O2 H930 and have only had one small issue which was easily fixed. Camera would not save to SD card when SD card was chosen in settings but once I chose internal storage to save my photos to it started to save them to SD card lol... So obviously just a confused camera. I have uninstalled unwanted apps using root uninstaller and use magisk for root. Starks Gcam 3.7 testing works a treat once raisr is turned off in settings. Google pay is working fine. I don't know about battery yet as not had time to test and only ever charge to 75% anyway..
Thanks for your work on this rom. For me it works a treat... ?

I'm having problems with network mode change - nothing happens when I choose one, i stays on GSM/WCDMA/LTE auto. I never flashed KDZ, I had nougat and did a full wipe then flashed theory of everything and this ROM after that one (after full wipe ofc).

Thanks for this! Any luck with dirty flashing so far? I'm about to attempt it, myself.
If my bootloader's already unlocked it will stay that way after flashing this, correct?

Absolutely
Awesome. Thanks. Just wanted to make sure
Thanks....dirty flashed over 20a then flashed magisk and all good..didn't loose anything.
Thank you! Dirty flashed over 20b, flashed magisk, everything looks great.
@westwood24
Thanks very much for the effort & hope you are well (re Hospital).
When I converted to H988 and then rooted, I also needed to flash a script to remove RCTD as well as a no-verity script.
Under features, you make a reference to verity. Does that mean those that root don't need to flash no-verity anymore?
Will we still need to flash rcdt after rooting?
Thanks again!

I dirty flashed over 20b, and then re-flashed stable magisk. That's all. No need to flash additional two zips, as westwood24 dealt with it in the rom.

I have just completed a dirty flash from 20A to 20D and followed up with Magisk 16.0.
I noticed that the safetynet check fails in the Magisk Manager. I can't recall for sure if it was failing before?
Regardless, Google Pay and my banking app both open, so at first glance it doesn't appear to be blocking anything.

It's been discussed here and in magisk forum. Seems the issue lies in the magisk manager. There are second party apps on play store that will check safetynet.

For most people it doesn't actually fail, it just gives cryptic message like "No valid response" but still is hidden from Android Pay, etc.
@westwood24 just wanna say thank you for this rom and the VS996 one. You have literally given me the option to go either way and that's awesome. Sent a donation your way, keep up the great work man!
Thanks to @ChazzMatt also for helping a noob like me out and getting me to these threads haha.
Tried downloading this twice from different mirrors and the boot.img md5 is coming back as wrong.
onlinemd5 comes back with : D817320CEA7CF3B4F14E19084B33C5A5
the one supplied is : 5de0949b961663b126ea10ca7ae6a55d
is this a problem on my end or is something up with it?

I am currently using 17.1 it fixed bootloops but you have to flash the magisk uninstall first...Did that and no problems here.
Hi @westwood24. Thank for this rom! I was used 2 month. Can you help me to make a KDZ file to zip install via TWRP?
I want to make the V300s ROM for my V30+ US998. Because the US Rom can't use Bluetooth Remote Shutter (I don't know why, The bluetooth use normaly with another devices) I was tested with old ROM V300S21e, it work fine. But I want make to make a new version ROM by myself.
Sorry for my English!
