Lollipop Firmware Download? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note 4

Hi,
I'm new to posting, but have read the forums for years. I just got the Note 4 SM-N910A and was wondering if there is anyway to download the Lollipop Firmware since my phone says that 4.4.4 is currently up to date?
Thanks!

Just foward a day in the phone date

I would also like to have someone rip the OTA so I can flash it in recovery, since I have an AT&T Note 4 but I'm using it in Canada. Thus, stupid AT&T update checker won't let me update.

I've tried. I've gone all the way up to Saturday and the phone still says KitKat is the current up to date software.

Well as far as I know, there isn't any official update that is available to download. Until then, you can either restart or reset your phone. Either way, you gotta wait.

Exactly, haha. I just really want to get this on my phone, but it won't let me..

I just Disabled my OTA no update for me! 4.4.4 root > 5.0.1
I know we can downgrade and all with Odin but it's not the NK3 software it's the original NIE
Plus downgrading means factory resetting phone... which redownload all app, contacts and sign in to all app again, putting all setting back... all takes alot time

I received the update for my AT&T Note 4 today so what I'm saying is to wait. I haven't seen any sites to download the official update manually. And from wishful thinking and other devices in the past, I've played the reset game (which worked 3 out of 5 times) and I received the update needed.

Yep. But it's up to you.

Ok let me make myself clear. YES The OTA IS GOING AROUND FOR DOWNLOAD, but if you ever did updates on a device, sometimes there are websites that can provide the update manually. Sites like Sammobile.com, provide updates so be downloaded so you don't have to wait for the OTA.

Since when was 4.4.4 root concretely promised in the first place?

So, I've tried the moving the dates up and everything, I still have not gotten the chance to update my Note 4 to Lollipop. Could it be that my carrier is actually Cricket, or should that not matter?

Is there anyone out there who can help me determine why my Note 4 isn't getting the OTA?

Is there any way to update the note 4 AT&T without being inside the United States? ODIN?

Please even i want to update AT&T note 4 to lollipop outside US. any link for lollipop firmware?

No, there is no link to ODIN files and I don't think ever will be. Unless someone will leak.
Also you can't update thru OTA if you not connected to AT&T network or you out of USA

You would need to know the long string of letters and numbers, and probably change occam to yakju or takju.
My wife's Yakju Galaxy Nexus got the OTA update. Trying to find the info on how to use alogcat to get the info.
Edit: It says it is already downloaded and i need to restart to install. not sure that alogcat is going to help me. Doesn't seem to be a way to cancel it. Going to turn off phone and see if it will work that way.
Lol, turning off the phone will clear the url in the log. Hook it up before updating and search for the URL with catlog.

Not sure what you mean. It says the update is already downloaded, touch to install. There isn't a way to cancel. Please explain in more detail what I can do to get link.
You need adb installed, then connect the phone and type adb logcat > logcat.txt , it should contain the url somewhere.

So I got a notification today for a new firmware update to 183.46.15. WIthout thinking I hit install, even though Im unlocked and rooted. Now the phone kept rebooting into TWRP. Any idea when we should have a flashable firmware for this? Just had to factory reset.

In order to install system updates you need to be on full stock firmware and recovery. Also, If you receive that update again, please capture the zip and post it.
I got it too today...

To elaborate (and make it easier to find in TiBu), that's com.motorola.ccc.ota, or "MotorolaOTA 1.0".
I'm freezing, too, as it'd be easier to RSD back to stock than to manually put it back together if I wanted to update (in other words, I'm lazy).
I am curious, though, on what exactly the update changes/fixes. D'oh, I missed coronado's post.

No surprise. R&D, QC, whatever you want to call it is taking a backseat on T-Mobile's list of concerns. To think they once were a bit more efficient.
I still don't understand what's going on here.

Did you get the original update from April? There was one pretty much out-of-the-box for this device. Something like 177MB or 178MB. Something like that.
Also, if you have indeed already received that update, yet you're being prompted to download a new one, I would highly recommend doing us all an awesome favor (assuming you don't mind tripping knox):
- Make some good backups of your device (TWRP or otherwise) such that you don't wipe anything
- Use Odin to return back to stock.
- Install TWRP v2 via Odin. There's an Odin-flashable version in the OP here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/tmobile-galaxy-s6-edge/development/5-1-1-blck-tw-t3096994
(this should allow you to maintain an "Official" status, according to SysScope, but have root access through ADB in the TWRP recovery)
- Get advice somewhere here (I'm sure there's plenty that know how to do with on Lollipop) on how to snag that Update.zip of the OTA.
If I'm wrong, and flashing the TWRP via Odin marks the system status as "Custom" then I'm sure there's a different order we can do this in.
Or maybe I'm just crazy altogether. It's been a long day. But in any event, there should be some way to obtain that Update.zip and share it with us!

General F936U1 Firmware Now Available

For those looking to flash their devices immediately, U1 firmware is now available via Frija and other such tools that pull from Sammy's servers. Manual Entry is required, XAA sales code.
PDA: F936U1UEU1AVGA
CSC: F936U1OYM1AVGC
Phone: F936U1UEU1AVGA
Standard MO for Samsung is to remove the Manual Entry requirement once the official launch date hits. Once that date comes, you should be able to pull it via Automatic.
I do not own this device nor will I ever so I haven't actually tried flashing. But it should work with latest Patched Odin 3.14.x
Happy flashing!

If/when you do flash it, let us know if it all went smoothly, if you could be so kind
Any chance someone could upload/share a copy? I'm not seeing it on the server to download at this time...

Patched ODIN to flash:
Success!
Security patch level is still showing July so a newer update should be released soon. May be September at this point! ;-)
Thanks, I was using the 2.0 branch of Frija, didn't realize I needed to use Manual (Legacy) mode to pull down the files. Got it now

It already is available, and has been. For some reason, VZW usually also requires Manual entry, in order to pull successfully

Thanks! You would not happen to know the PDA, CSC and Phone codes for pulling the Verizon firmware would you? I tried some combinations but they did not seem to work.

Thanks again! Got the flip 4 firmware as well. My project for today was flashing the Fold 4 VZW firmware and getting the phone to be as like my Fold 3 as possible, before sending in the Fold 3 for my trade-in. Next project will be the Fold 4.
There was an update that came out a day or so ago, ending in "VHH". I can only see it for TMK and TMB. I have it installed now no issues but wondering would they usually release an incremental update for U1?

What's your definition of "incremental", and how does it differ from your definition of a "non incremental update" ?

It still has the July Security Patch and only available in certain markets from what I read. Incremental like a small patch and not a full update.

Still don't understand what the difference between "small patch" and "full update" is, in your book. Not all updates are multiple GB in size and/or bring a new UI or Android version. Both U and U1 models have always gotten "small" updates, and always will.
And I'm sure it'll roll out to the other carriers soon
Not sure what I'm doing incorrectly but using the info on OP, I'm not getting anything coming back as available. Anyone else having similar results?

You need to post a screenshot of what you have typed in, in order for us to see where the typo is
