I picked the 36£, vodafone tariff, which I think will definitely be the cheapest, compared to anyone else, good job carphone.

I went into my local CPW (in Canterbury, Kent) and they didn't have it in stock. I was told they were getting their demo/dummy model tomorrow and actual stock on Thursday.

Lol, they probably kept for themselves, apparently most stores recieved about 3 units per store, in my harlow branch, they have 2 stores, both had about 6 between them.
I popped into central branch today in hull, they told me they already have their demo unit but not received any stock as of yet, to be fair i dont think the rep really new what he was on about as he didnt even know the release date

I don't see the point in paying £36 for 600 mins, 3000 texts and 1GB Data.

No stock at any of the stores near me yet. Hope they have a grey one I can reserve on Thursday and pay for on Friday, seems easier than ordering for delivery to store. If not, I'll bite the bullet and pay online.

You can get the same deal from affordablemobile for £31 p/m, that is a saving of £168.
I got the same deal yesterday, but changed to £23 p/m with £112 upfront for 500 mins, 500 txt and unlimited internet without tethering today, as it is much cheaper and I don't really need the tetherting that much.

You were lucky, there was a memo sent out later today to say that the release date is 5th and not to sell them, looks like some ppl didn't get that memo! :screwy: some heads will roll!
I've been off today and heard that the black One X have come in, no one had white One X in, think there is a delay on white one.

I will be seriously pissed if they don't dispatch my white version tomorrow for Thursday delivery - the website still states 'pre-order for Thursday 5th April delivery'
If it's not dispatched, they can give me my money back so I can go & pick it up in a shop - as the next earliest date would be 11th April, which is unacceptable.
11th would be terrible for a pre-order, (a pre-order they took money for over a, week ago) - especially when other suppliers have been shipping & delivering them already.
I feel I will be phoning them a few times in the morning.
... Hopefully with good news.

Funny you should say that buddy, cause when I went to the main branch, and asked if they had it, they said they had, no problem. I left my debit card at home, so went back to pick it, and then decided to go to the branch that was out of town, and when I asked if they had it, they hesitated before saying they had, but it wasn't on system, and had no price, which kinda confirms what you saying, it's only after I suggested, all be going to pick it up then at the other branch, as I had already spoken to them, that all the customer service chaps, went to the back of the shop, and miraculously it was now priced. But the first chap, I had spoken to wasn't the one who completed the deal, instead, it was the doggy looking chap, who done it for me. Let's just hop, the units are retail Units, not test versions, in light of what you said. And now my wife, read about the HTC that toasted in someone's pocket she's now a bit worried, the phone, got a bit warm at times when I was introducing it to the world, imagine it blowing up in the pocket, "I hate the sore idea of loosing one of my b***s.

its 12:17pm - they still don't have stock for the white HTC ONE X.
They don't know when they are coming in, & its has to be dispatched today for the launch day delivery!
I've had my pre-order for weeks, they even took the money over a week ago (which they shouldn't be allowed to do until it enters dispatch process)
I asked about possible refund in which I was told it would take 4 days for them to refund me - which is absolutely pointless as i might aswell wait for white stock by that time.
The only thing they can do is offer to send me the black one instead.
Their website 'still' states pre-order today for Thursday 5th April delivery.
I'm soooo angry, if it's not dispatched today - it will be another week at the earliest til I recieve it!
Biggest phone supplier in the UK & they have no stock still, when O2, 3, Phones4u, dialaphone etc all have stock!

Dose anyone here know if best buy is going to have them in stock on launch day? I preordered mine there on 10/27 and the employees at my local store aren't very helpful. Ťhey said I would get first one because they didn't even know it could be preordered but I would like to know when to expect it.

I pre ordered phones there before and they had them on launch day. I even got the note 10.1 there on launch day....So, I assume it will be the same. Your note 2 will be sitting in the locked drawer just waiting for you...

My bet is the AT&T version will not be available on launch day at Best Buy. AT&T is shipping online preorders today. A group of us have been waiting for the Sprint version at Best Buy and have recently confirmed that the white version is finally arriving at the stores but they can't sell them until the 11th. Sprint stores started selling them on 10-25. This means Sprint Corporate probably had exclusivity for a couple weeks to sell the phones first and AT&T will probably do the same thing.

I just called best buy mobile and canceled my order. The Guy said they wouldn't have them for delivery until the 15th at the earliest. I'll just pick one up somewhere Friday, hopefully.

I guess I'll be calling today to check the same thing, I'll cancel my order as well if this is the case.
I called Best Buy and Best Buy Mobile in Greenwood Indiana. The Mobile store says they have it on the 11th and Best Buy store said they don't have a date yet. Suffice it to say I will be at the AT&T store at 9am picking up the Note 2 and cancelling my order with Best Buy Mobile.

Don't shoot yourself in the foot. Cancel NOTHING until you have one in hand, as the average employee, phone rep etc. at Best Buy OR AT&T haven't a clue when they will have or ship anything other than what they hear from the folks around them. You just have to check your options, and be ready to pounce if one turns up, LOL, but canceling orders on spec is a losing game, trust me, I have been there and done that more than once. My frustration is I only have a debit card, and any pre-order I ever place always debits the money for at least a week, and then rills the charge off if it has not delivered or shipped. It ties up my money so I can't hedge my bets with a backup plan. Fortunately i git lucky this go around and have one arriving via Fedex late delivery tomorrow.

I work for best buy mobile so I can counter-confirm your claim. We have a HARD street date for AT&T of 11/9 and sprint is 11/11. That may have been what they were referring to. Or you got a dumb employee that doesn't know how to pull up street dates. And trust me, I know more than my **** when it comes to AT&T releases for this company
I'm in NYC, 5th ave store & Union Square store confirms Sunday the 11th. But for the Sprint version. They already have them. AT&T isnt in stock yet and should arrive towards the end of the month (or 2 weeks).

Did you have the Note 2's in store as of today or are you expecting them to arrive in a truck early tomorrow?
When I called the best buy mobile number from their website, the rep claimed that they should have them in stores tomorrow according to their system. So hopefully that is the case...

Just ordered my black one from HTC. That was the only color I wanted. Lol. Thanks a lot man! I had been checking the website, just hadn't done it since this morning. Must have been updated.
I ordered mine (black, which is more grey) off of the HTC websites and it shipped from a site called Xentris Wireless. Maybe you could check Xentris to see if they're available directly.
I just ordered mine from the HTC website and got a confirmation from Best Buy that it was shipping.
Got an ATT M8 but ATT didn't have the dot case. Went to Verizon and I bought the grey one in stores. (This was last week)

A HTC rep in my teleco shop (Starhub) says that the case will be available from 1 week after launch in Singapore.
(Just got my phone on launch day, above information is only 15 minutes old )
They seem very rare, got chatting to a retailer on Elevate so she told me exactly when she was getting stock so I ordered 2 (one for a friend, totally not being selfish )
Apparently I ordered too late. I'm now on backorder on the HTC website. I've checked eBay, Amazon, Newegg, and all of google's recommended sites. I've checked every best buy and Verizon around, and their websites. Any other ideas?

So, question. I asked this at Best Buy and both the cell representative and manager told me I can just go online and find it, which it's not listed and they were of little help.
I want the International model as it doesn't come with carrier bloat. Does anybody familiar with Best Buys workings know if they can order it for me? Or are they limited to carrier versions?

I submitted my information for both as well. One is a T-Mobile exclusive offer and the other is for everyone. I got emails from both saying that they received my information and that I should get a confirmation email within 5 days.
My Verizon model should be here by 8 PM today. Woohoo!

I chat the a CS from AT&T yesterday, and she told me online order for Note 7 is not available yet and only some local stores may have some for sale. Does anyone have any information about this (especially US market)?

I ordered a black phone from Verizon. Supposed to ship on 10/5. I wanted black and that was good because the blue was showing a week later. The local store was also showing 2 in stock. I tried to order on line and pickup, but they wouldn't go for it. I hate dealing with the people in the store so I just ordered on line.
Found a black one at BB day before yesterday. Only one I could find.
Wife ordered one last Friday from Verizon... got it on Monday... I know Verizon is selling as of last week
Sprint is selling them as well.. I know because I just got mine.. Local stores have had them for a while now as well.
