Please... which Play Store? USA? Thanks... I'd like to buy the yellow band for the summer season, it's better for Running! THANKS, Rex

I am wondering about the material, as the original Sony sticks all the possible dust and dirt...

I have the white band and it doesn't collect dust as the black one. Maybe because of the striped texture on the band. I prefer the white!

I bought lime version from ebay...supercool

I got mine right when they announced it was in the Google Play Store, around a month and a half ago. Use it all the time when I go out on my runs and then switch to the black one when I am not running. It is the same material (silicone) as the black one, but the texture seems smoother so it does not attract dust/lint or dirt. I sweat a lot and it's held up very well, with no staining or markings. Love the fact that its practically infinitely adjustable as well, and adjusting the size can be done so quickly and easily.

anyone know where I could purchase the metal band? I've searched everywhere and can't find it :\

An anti-static spray will prevent any dust/lint from sticking to your silicone watch band. I use the 303 Aerospace Protectant (available at O'Reilly Autoparts or on the web). Just remove the watch from the band, spray the band thoroughly, and then wipe dry with a towel.

Body Glove Icon case

Hi, just wanted to give my impressions of this case on the GSM Nexus. Out of the box it's nice, soft touch paint job, nice accents around the camera and the bottom piece (hard to see in pics, but kind of a gloss black chrome) and a soft velvet lining.
When I put the phone in, it was clear that this case was made for the Verizon model as the GSM model slides in just a little too easy...like if the bottom is off the phone can just slide out.
With that being said, once the bottom is on it's a different story. The phone feels secure in the case and the bottom takes effort to pull off, so I don't really see it as an issue. I can't say for sure but I think this case would fit with the GSM extended.
Anyway, here are some pics:

I'm undecided on if I'm going to keep it. I'm not sure I like how much border is around the front, and I'm used to darker phones so the silver kind of sticks out a bit for my tastes. It was 16 on Amazon so whatever, maybe I'll just keep it for backup. I currently have these two cases which I really like:
eh...after using this case for a bit I've noticed some slight give because of the thinner GSM model.
Unless you have a skin, avoid this case if you are using the GSM nexus. With a skin it would be perfect.
I'm sending it back because of the size different and to be honest, I find the silver border distracting.
Nice case. Wish they had for lte variant.

This is for the LTE Nexus, that's why it's loose on GSM. It's actually growing on me so I may keep it after all.
Just curious what screen protector you're using? Looks nice.
Thanks, just a 3 pack from the Verizon store.
Just a side note this case would work great with GSM and a full body skin on. Thinking of doing that actually.

What do you guys think about this case?
Actually I just ordered on from Amazon last night. I like the S curve on the back and that type of soft flexible case. Would think it would hold up better if you dropped phone, but don't know this for sure.

It surely would! I have had this case for many other devices and because it wraps around the screen it protects the actual screen from coming into contact which reduces the chance of shattering the screen. Great case for a low price!
I bought the clear (transparant) one, it's easily get dirty, and it seems i can't make it clean,
It's good for its price, but maybe it's better to pick the colored ones

I guess anything like white or transparent will get dirty quick
mine looks different to the one in the op/video...bought off eBay (Australian seller, as I live in Australia) - as you can see the camera cutout is different.

I really wanted mine to be like that as well! I have no clue why mine is two different cut outs!

Motorola's solution for back cracking with metal bands - picture

Hi,
I came across this interesting picture, where you can clearly see that the metal bands from Motorola have a plastic piece/adapter that fits inside the watch. Even the larger 23mm bands have this piece from what I can see, their first part is in fact narrower than 23mm and fits inside this adapter.

Let's hope they release the adapter separately so we aren't forced to buy the $80 band if we want a metal one
After looking at multiple photos, none are detailed enough, but it looks like the plastic adapter is actually a spacer since the metal band is much smaller where it connects with the watch itself...disappointing, in order to use this spacer, the leather bands would have to be changed to fit at the initial connections on the watch...narrow them down and then widen them out like the metal band.
is it just me or does the watch on the right look like its got some issues with the back?

Yes, it looks like hairline cracks are creeping around from the adapters...might be a reason there are no high detailed photos on the web.
Here's a High res of the watches. You can clearly see the spacer if you zoom in.

i've seen the spacer in the press release. here's the thing, unless there's some magic trickery holding that spacer in place, it's still putting pressure on the back. the spacer would basically occupy the entire space which means the back would effectively hold it in (or rather stable, since the pin is holding it in place).
i take it back. the spacer is formed with a lip "resting" against the back part. seems like they're using it as a buffer/spacer.

SWR50 black band (rubber) is a static machine

Don't know if this is the case for many of you who is using the new smartwatch 3. My black band seems to attract fabric particles and dusts like crazy. The band itself looks really dirty and I had just cleaned it in the morning. The pictures below are taken after wearing the watch for 3 hours. And I am just wearing normal dress shirt. Actually, it doesn't matter what I weared as it was the same yeaterday.
See attached images...

Nice try, <fill in your own blank>... I was out and about over this weekend.
Back to topic, compared to my Gear Fit, I can wear it for 3- 4 days without taking it off and the band never does this. Hopefully, we got our metal band soon.

May be... it is getting cold here in Central PA, USA. About 40°F.
Same problème. My black band is grey.
I will own one soon. It might be a stupid question but if you pour water over it does the dust come out ?
It's quite easy to wipe off with your thumb, but it's there when you use some fibre sweaters...

Yes, the dust and particle are very easily wash off with water. Still rocking mine.
Yep
At least it a color changing band...It's a major dust magnet. I usually run my through the faucet everyday.
Can't really complain. Its winter it's often underneath sweaters/jackets and it's almost pristine. Actually I love how it feels, it's very ergonomic.

quality metal band with fine adjustments?

I don't mind Huaweis metal band, but I'm caught in between because it's a bit too big with a link in but a bit to small if I take it out. I'm looking for a good silver metal band that has a clasp which allows for incremental adjustments, but with the odd 18mm lugs and 22mm band width I haven't found anything. for reference this is what I was using with my zenwatch and I love it http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B005X...-12&pi=AC_SX110_SY165_QL70&keywords=22mm+316l

I got something similar at a local jewelry store. Was only $30.00 (I dont know why so much cheaper than the website) and very similar to what you have... Any 18MM watch band will fit without issues... Will just need to make sure it has the fine adjustments on the clasp. This one does: http://classic.jewelershowcase.com/products/59-0140/?groupId=24256
Edit: Mine might a slightly different model.

thanks, I might have to try some local shops, or even have my existing one modified. that looks like the end is a spring, which in my experience comes with the hollow link bands. my old one was solid 316l with really nice screw link pins, so I'm looking for something comparable.

Yes, you are correct there! I go for the lighter weight band myself. By I would recommend local jeweler so you can see / feel the band. I love mine, dont regret it one bit!
