to make a fastboot cable - if you have 'skinned' your cable already - all you have to do is connect VCC (pin1) to pin4. So basically just link pins 1 and 4 together. I used a usb hub to power it at first, hoping that if there was any problem it would blow the hub rather than wipe a port out on my laptop! I suppose you could also use a standard usb charger as well, the device should turn on and boot into fastboot screen.

Modaco R20 didn't boot for me with this kernel. This project is awesome, hopefully it'll get swooped up into Cyanogen and have a settings option to switch back and forth.
I have a 2008 Pontiac G8 and people have been putting a USB touch screen overlay over the factory display, that has NTSC composite inputs. I'm planning the ultimate car/phone integration After of course flashing the GM LAN bus so the screen will stay on over 2MPH.

I just want to check, obviously, I'm trolling. Did you ever figure this out? I have a G8 now and would love some integration without spending $1500.

Ok, i know that some people allredy asked, but there is no answer yet. Does somebody have this modules to reupload them ? I can't find them anywhere, and links are dead
since i am new and not really sure how related this is, i've been looking about otg support on my new lenovo vibe x2. otg checker confirms that it has the necessary API, yet it does not appear to function. i've tried both otg helper and stickmount, have busybox and my device is rooted. any ideas? do you think another custom module might work with my device?

Im just about 100% sure it is a Kindle Fire HD 7" 2nd Gen.
You have one of these right? Front camera in center, Two ports on the bottom in the center, one is a micro USB and the other is a micro HDMI i think... 1/4 of the way on the back from the bottom there is a darker black strip with speaker slots on the ends and Kindle written on the right side in that darker strip.....
ill try to post a pic...
Can you help lead me to a way to get Android OS on it? I got a Fastboot cable for it..

Probably a HD model. One way of telling this is that KF2 does not go higher than 16GB of storage.
