If anyone is interested, I found that Z3 Compact with Bugdroid case perfectly fit in DK48 with adapter included in Z3 Style Cover.
Now I would like to buy such adapter separately

Sony you done it again... why could they have not included this with the dock KNOWING people will use other covers with their phones... lovely.
As I have just purchased the bugdroid case and the DK48 I'm happy to know this information but also want to know where can I get this adaptor or an equivalent?

I bought this one. Very happy so far.
The material quality decent, I've had them before for my SGS1 and Nexus S, it's real leather not the fake plastic leather imitations as other "leather" cases
However... they ruined it this time for the SGS2, the fitment sucks
when the phone is inside, it can't even close the lid, because the magnets don't reach
but there's hope, here's my easy 2 min quick fix
Anyways... don't believe what you see in the advertised photos as seen below

I think I've been had. I ordered a white Genuine Sony Magnetic Charging Cable For Xperia Z Ultra Z1 L39H Black/White New from a seller named "thinkpan" here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/301149241841?var=600234814479
Something about the cable quality and packaging seems a little off to me. Am I just paranoid or is this how these come from Sony? I thought the cable would at least have the little white tab label a lot of their cabled items include. What's funny is that the plastic wrap around my cables is inside out and don't include the trademark indicator next to the Sony logo.

What glad win said, they never released such a cable, you were only able to take it out of the dk31 dock by unscrewing it

Im looking for a silicone or dual material case which is not a flip cover. There are some for iphones but haven't found one for the Z1.
Anyone knows how to come by one?

I checked on the internet but all the cases with credit card slots are flip-cover.
You can try to make a DIY one. It seems pretty easy to make. Just get a sharpie and cut it in the desired form. Then sand the edges with a 2000 grid sandpaper to give it a "normal case" look.
hi, i want a custom made Z3c hard case.
need the area between flashlight & camera covered & black sides (or printed on sides, NO white & NO clear sides please)
i've only found DeinDesign so far but their Z3c case can be broken easily (probably because theirs have large empty space from usb charging port to ps4 controller holder, causing the bit above it cannot resist damage from fallings)

but by saying custom made case, i meant it includes a customized printing on the back.
