Not the Verizon version (SM-N910V) does not have band 7 LTE, but there are other versions of the phone that do include LTE band 7.

Unlocked USA Edition LTE Bands?

Can anyone give me some clarity as to what LTE Bands the Unlocked LTE USA Version of M8 supports?
Is it the same as the Developers versoin?
I cannot get a clear answer from HTC Tech support.... its unbelievable.
I work in Europe/Germany alot and am trying to find out if it will work there...
Or can someone run this CID checker against their unlocked USA edition?

From what I understand, yes. My understanding, the only difference between Unlocked and Dev Edition, is that the latter comes bootloader unlocked.
Whether the device works on LTE in Germany is a difficult question to answer. It seems that the more recent firmwares support more bands than the specs would suggest.
heres the lastest answer from HTC if anyone cares:
the LTE bands of Unlocked US version of HTC One M8 is 1900/2100 MHz.
though i have gotten 2 other answers before so who really knows.

I don't think that the info is correct. That is missing 3 of the 4 bands needed to make the phone work on AT&T in all markets (850. 700 & 1700); as well as missing 2 of the 3 needed on T-Mobile (700 and 1700).
Exactly... How does no one at HTC know this? I will email them back

I have found the info via android central:
http://www.androidcentral.com/developer-and-unlocked-htc-one-m8-ready-order
And speaking of networks, HTC has confirmed to us that the developer and unlocked versions are based off the AT&T SKU, meaning the bands line up in the following manner:
•2G: 850/900/1800/1900 MHz
•3G WCDMA: 850/1900/2100 MHz with HSPA+ up to 21 Mbps
•4G LTE: 700/850/AWS/1800/1900/2600 MHz
Finally got it figured out.

[Q] Add/unlock extra 4G LTE bands in HTC Desire 820 (d820u) Dual Sim phone ???

Hi,
Can anyone Add/unlock all global 4G LTE bands in HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim phone?
Currently it supports only LTE FDD 1, 3, 7, 8 and TDD 38, 39, 40, 41 bands. So this phone can work in Asia and Europe but not in USA 4G network (e.g. AT&T or T-Mobile).
To work seamlessly in USA 4G network, the phone needs atleast the following extra 4G LTE bands:-
LTE FDD : 2, 4, 12, 20, 26
LTE TDD : 42
So can anyone add these LTE FDD : 2, 4, 12, 20, 26 and LTE TDD : 42 bands to this HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim phone ????

download "Network Mode" in play store.
I purchased an HTC Desire 820 Dual Sim in Hong Kong last week. I used it in China on China Mobile 4G without any problems. Returned to the USA yesterday and can not get 4G to work on StraightTalk (AT&T). I had an HTC M8 (Hong Kong version) before the Desire 820 with the same SIM card and APN settings, 4G was working fine. I bought the Desire 820 because it showed support for the same 4G bands as the M8. I tried downloading the "Network Mode" app above and that didn't do anything.
Thoughts???
So I'm guessing nobody has used a Desire 820 Dual SIM on any USA 4G network?
My d820u dual sim connects to us straight talk and show H+. Never saw 4g icon. I purchased mine in Taipei.

I get the same H+ connection but no 4G on straight talk (AT&T). What I find strange is that the Desire 820 Dual SIM supports the same bands as my previous One M8 which worked on 4G just fine. While shopping in Hong Kong, I looked at every dual SIM phone on the market and compared network support. The reason I chose the Desire 820 was my impression that I would have 4G in China & the USA. The hardware is there, but something is wrong with the software on the phone. Unfortunately, this is not a popular phone, so I doubt we're going to get many technical people looking into the issue.
Bump... Love the phone but the lack of 4G when you know the hardware can do it frustrating. Anyone have some ideas?

The only reason I see is that the LTE band StraightTalk uses is not supported by your phone model. The One M8 worked because it supported a heck lot of bands. Most mid-range phones will have problems in the US if you do not buy from the US.
As for the references you have given, they are for Sony devices and the Galaxy S5 respectively........They are not guaranteed to work on this phone, you may try it, but you could risk a broken radio. I believe there was a generic guide for this somewhere for Qualcomm devices, it was featured in the XDA portal. You may find it with a little digging
EDIT: Turns out someone was able to get bands on the Verizon HTC One M8 with the method posted in the Galaxy S5 forum, so it might be worth a shot. But it isn't an easy process

As far as I can tell, the M8 does not support more bands than the Desire 820, in fact, the 820 actually supports more bands than the M8.
Thanks for the advice, not sure I'm up for losing 3 days of my life trying to learn and hack the Desire into working.
Bump, anyone ever get 4G working in the USA?
Nice to have Android 5.0.2, bummer that I still don't have 4G
I too need a phone that supports USA LTE frequencies dual SIM? Any luck with this? I have not found 1 phone that can do Asian LTE and USA LTE with dual active SIM functions i.e. 4G + 4G at same time.

Can you tell a LTE 4G M8 from an Non LTE 4G from just the box??

I am looking at getting a HTC One M8 but need to steer clear from the LTE 4G version as LTE doesn't support 800mhz on the 4G band and my network provider (O2) only supports 800mhz for LTE. eBay seem the best place to get a new M8 at a decent price but alot of them don't list weather its the LTE version or not or just down right don't know. Is there a way to tell from the box which version the phone is?, would all M8's bought from UK stores be the non LTE version?
For mine, model number is on box sticker. E.g. M8x, M8d.
Different models support different lte bands.

Is there any info on what model numbers refer to which band is used?
You will need to Google for it.

[Q] AT&T model supports Band 3 (1800)?

There is a conflict on the LTE bands supported on the AT&T and HTC USA sites.
So is Band 3 (1800) supported?
