[Q] Disable screen unlock mode - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello,
My G3 is running CloudyG3 ROM and I also added Nova launcher to get a better material style. Unfortunately Nova doesn't provide a custom lock screen so I tried with AcDisplay (as example).
Looks good but it asks to remove default unlock method from settings but on G3 there is no such an option.
Is there a workaround to get rid of awful default unlock screen?
(I'm not quite sure about right section. I posted here because maybe somebody comes up with an alternative app that completely overrides the default lock screen)

Not in CloudyG3 2.2 apparently

@fillobotto There is a none option in Cloudy 2.2 . look at these screenshots from my phone, it's in romanian but the first option is none

Performed a full wipe then CG3 2.2 again. Finally it solved the problem.
I'm sorry to have opened a thread for this.

Lockscreen apps

After the Kitkat update I don't find the lockscreen buttons.
I'd like to have the possibility to open special apps directly from lockscreen (without unlock).
Can anybody please help?
Thanks in advance

Sorry, I don't have this, neither on LG G-Pad nor on LG G2 mini (both devices run Kitkat 4.42).
I have no explanation for that.

I recall if you use anything other than swipe as an unlock method the shortcuts are not visible. Either in the menu or on the lock screen

Missing Theme Setting

Is it just me or am I missing the option to change themes on my G3? Isn't it under display>Theme? I do not have a theme option under display in my settings. I am on Verizon and have rooted, but not uninstalled anything other than bloat. I have installed Exposed and G3 Tweaksbox.
Thanks.

I've been using Android for about 4 years mate and I've never seen an option to re-size a widget on the lock screen unless we're given different sizes to choose from. Sowy

Only in some custom ROMs like OmniRom, Paranoid Android etc...

I use Widget Locker and both my 'regular' widgets Poweramp, Beautiful Weather and Mortplayer have widgets that are either (a) comes in different sizes and/or (b) sizeable. Just hold down the widget for the options.
i've just discovered this option in lockscreen as well and i've been wondering the same thing. i have a weather widget 5x2 and i would like to make by default the whole lockscreen height

Why my setting looks different

On my phone the setting looks similar to this
http://i2.wp.com/www.gottabemobile.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/Note-5-led.jpg?resize=720,424
Why is it different from the pics in setting
http://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-take-screenshot-note5/
A few American models have the setting layout different than the international models.

Can't.
You would need a custom romantic with the option.
Yeah romantic
Damn that sucks

Yes you can switch it go on main screen gold you finger on any empty space on you home screen and where it will show you a option to change wallpaper next to it you have themes go there and there should be 3 installed then choose the stock one hit apply an thats it if you want experiment then you can go to the market in the same app and download new ones. Good luck replay if you did it

He wants to change the settings layout, not his theme.
