That doesn't fix issues for those of us that need to have the full stock firmware to re-Odin with. Guess those of us in the same boat wait a week or so. My problem was removing the knox files with root explorer. Bad move. Makes the phone unbootable. Called Samsung tech support and they confirmed that. Rooting no problem. Recovery screen totally blank. Never get to see the the white/green screen some say they have for a recovery screen. The magic use volume up keys 7 times etc I have seen posted don't work for me. Samsung specifically told me the stock firmware is proprietary, so they wouldn't give it to me. I can wait a week or so for developers to get their hands on appropriate files, including a custom recovery that actually works...like good old TWRP :victory:

have you tried to flash the S6 file? not the S6 edge but the S6. Try to get yourself in download mode and do that. Make sure you are using the correct odin. That is what happened to me and I was able to obtain ROOT.

If you can get into download mode, you can now use Kies to install the stock firmware. Just did it about 3 mins ago.

Where did you get the stock firmware. I'm not talking rooting file. I'm talking the full on tar to use to ODIN and flash the complete full stock firmware.

I used Kies to restore the Firmware. Unfortunately, I was unable to find the Firmware file on my computer (Or could not figure out how to use it). I did see a temp file that was the correct size, but it's name and extension were wrong. I tried to open the file using 7-Zip and WinRar, but neither would open it. At that point, I just allowed Kies to do it's job, and it worked well. Removed ROOT and am now running Stock Firmware and Stock Recovery. KNOX is still tripped, but I don't care at this point.
In Kies, use the option: "Firmware Upgrade and Initialization". You will need your Model Name and Serial Number. Found on the box or in Settings if you can get there. I've got a T-Mobile Edge, so my Model Name is SM-G925T. Your serial will be unique.

I deleted via root explorer a slew of knox fies. Samsung told me by doing this, it renders the phone non bootable. That is why I need a full stock firmware tar file I can use in Odin, to flash the original complete firmware for my 925 Edge.Removing root, re-rooting, will not help. Chainfire said that SamMobile rleased the firmware files but all I get is web page not available. Grrrrr. Really wish someone would post the file in the Development sections or at least provide a working link.

I had also removed all of the KNOX files, and most of the Samsung Files trying to get close to AOSP, but it became unstable. Kies re-installed the COMPLETE firmware again and all the stock files returned. I don't mean it removed ROOT only, it flashed the complete firmware. Kies uses ODIN internally to do the flash.

Well, someone (Pagel) already posted the 920 stock tar file in the S6 thread. so there MUST be a source currently. Wish I knew why Sammobile web site returns errors for me about unable to open web page. That's the source most state is where to go.

Okay I was able to find a workaround on how to restore my phone through Kies without getting an error.
do the following: 1) open Kies, click on tools, Firmware upgrade and initialisation, enter your model number and serial number and let it download the firmware, after an hour or so depending on your connection speed the firmware will be downloaded and your phone will reboot into recovery to install the firmware. done

That's exactly what I was saying to do a few posts back. Did it yesterday and it worked fine.
EDIT: I'm going to run through it again and see if I can find the downloaded file. I believe I found it last time, but it was not a TAR file, rather a temp file specific to MY phone. But I'll try again, and if I get it, will post it here.

No problem, as long as we all get there at some point. The temp file that Kies downloads is called tmpE635.tmp It ends up being about 1.6GB in size. I tried to open it using 7-Zip and WinRar, but neither will open it. I'll post it in case anyone wants to try using it in ODIN. I don't know if it is specific to MY phone, or the T-Mobile S6 Edge in general (SM-G295T).
But, honestly, I would suggest you use Kies yourself so you are positive to get the correct file. You WILL get the error message that says Kies does not support your phone, just ignore that and keep going.

Phone Serial Number
I just realized that the Serial Number Kies is asking for is not on my Box. It's in the settings/about/status menu, and also on a sticker that is stuck to the Plastic Wrap that was around the phone in the box. Looks sort of like this: R58G31D1PBA. So, if you cannot get into your settings, or don't have that plastic, I'm not positive how you will get it to start the download. Maybe if you just use someone elses serial number, that will start the download???
EDIT: Link to the Temp File from Kies (not sure you'll be able to do anything with it)

WTF
Had the download stall on me twice, 35 and 47 percent.

[Q] Stuck in Download Kies no connection

I have a SGS3. But it's from Metro PCS. The model is SCH-R530M.
Android Version 4.1.2
I used odin and the cf root SGS3-6.4
It got to nand and couldn't write.
So now I'm on firmware upgrade please connect Kies. I can't put in the Serial number, because on this Metro phone, there is no S/N and the meid does not work. Kies also times out.
I can get into download mode with no problem, but after that, I'm screwed. I tried the fcc id. the WH: and the 14 numbers across the barcode starting with 990. Kies keeps telling me it's not correct.
I'm sorry post in here, but I couldn't find a Metro forum on SGS3. And I know that ATT models come very close. is there another file I can flash in odin to correct this or finish??
Thanks

Wanted to thank everyone who helped. I flashed the original stock back on it.
I tried cf auto root once again, and again I had the same exact problem. Gets to nand and fails.
Had to flash the stock again.
Afraid to use the oneclick method.

Give one of these a shot
AUTO ROOT D2MTR - This is Just like cf auto root but I made the package myself.
PREROOTED SYSTEM ODIN IMAGE - This .tar is identical to the one I supplied that you used to fix your phone. Only exception is root access is already in it. And it WILL NOT wipe the device like the one already supplied.
(THIS IS ZIPPED UP TO MAKE IT SMALLER SO UNZIP BEFORE LOADING IN ODIN)
Neither should have any problem working for you.

I just had the same problem. I ended up re-flashing the stock OF7 tarball in Odin.
OF7 tallball
What is "OF7 tallball".
Where can i find that.
My phone is: G920T.
what is that, i want to know too
I am having the same Issue with the G920T, did anyone find a solution for it?
Having tbe same exact problem as the OP. Everthing I flash through ODIN fails. Even flashing stock 5.1.1 OF7 fails. I believe it's because I was on OGA so I have to wait until the tarball for that comes out I guess.
I had this problem yesterday. The way I fixed it was to flash the F8 bootloader, and then I could get the unroot rom to load.
Maybe a fluke, but that is what I did to fix mine.
Now I am unable to unlock it. I tried ChainFire CF-Auto-root and TWRP - both give the custom recovery is blocked. Any help on this is appreciated.
Thanks.

I have the same exact problem with my Sprint S6.
I have tried all possible stock Firmwares :
G920PVPU1AOCF
G920PVPU1AOE2
G920PVPU2BOF7
G920PVPU2BOH1
None of them workes. any idea, please keep update.
I got this same exact problem yesterday on my SM-G920P as well. Been up all night trying to figure it out, has anyone found a solution to this?
Just got mine working again Apparently the original firmware I had on my phone was "G920PVPU3BOI1" so I just downloaded and flashed that in Odin and it flashed without the "Custom Binary Blocked by FRP Lock" error I kept on usually getting. So for anybody with this problem, if you are unsure which firmware you originally had on your phone before the brick, just try to flash all the possible ones via Odin until one works
How to find proper firmware while bricked.

WHATS THIS?
This is my port of CF-AUTOROOT for the Samsung Galaxy TAB E.
You flash this at your own risk. Please ensure you have the stock ROM to hand downloaded from SAMMOBILE or a TWRP backup in case of problems. This will trip the knox counter.
Flash with ODIN 3.10.7 in the AP slot.
Load the respective file below into the AP slot and hit start.
cfautoroot_sm-t377p.tar
cfautoroot_sm-t560nu.tar
NOTE: ON SOME 5.1.1 DEVICES IT IS NECESSARY TO GO TO:
Settings -> Developer Options -> OEM unlocking
AND ENABLE OEM UNLOCK FIRST OR YOU MAY ENCOUNTER 'BLOCKED BY FRP LOCK' WHEN FLASHING.

That was my plan ...however they do not support this model number yet so its not available to be reflashed. I checked sammobile as well figuring I could download firmware and use Odin to reflash and same situation.
There's a chance the sm-t377R4 firmware may flash as it's practically identical to the sprint firmware just a different csc.
Okay....will try and find that one.
Hi, I had a question. The Samsung Tab E is my first android device (I am a IOS user, so i know how to Jailbreak, but I don't know how to root!). Also, after i rooted can i update my device to a newer version or do i have to remove the root. Lastly, how do you back up your device? Thank you! I appreciate your hard work!

You can follow the tutorial below, it's for the Tab A but the procedure is identical.
Obviously don't use the cf_autoroot file in the tutorial use the one here. Also note the PDA button in Odin is now called AP.

You can update your device with odin anytime you want but not via ota.
To back up you device you need to install TWRP.
Search Google for info on using TWRP.

I tried the t377R4 firmware that didn't work. Any idea on where I could track down a copy of the t377p? Odd I can't even use the Samsung Smart Switch or even Kies as it doesn't recognize the model number. Or if anyone has a backup available they can share please let me know.

Surprised recovery doesn't work, considering the 2 devices are identical specs.
Try installing Twrp, you'll probably find that works OK.

Rooting gone bad... Rooted my SM-T377P with KingRoot and there is an FRP Lock that comes up a week later. All of the custom ROM versions I have keep getting rejected by ODIN every time I try to flash them. The only other way I can think of doing this is to flash the stock ROM for the device.

Galaxy Tab S help (SM-T807P)

Hello,
I have ran into a huge problem with my tab S and I have been trying to fix this problem for weeks on end. The problem is I can't seem to flash my tablets stock rom without it giving me some error message saying "invaild ext4 image". I have done some research and from what I've found I need the PIT file but I can't find it at all. I know you can extract the PIT file from your device but I don't have access to the OS right now, just ODIN and my custom recovery. The OS is 4.4.2 and the Version is T807PVPU1ANK1 before It messed up. I have also tried to flash a higher OS version like 6.0 to the device but every time I try I get a message that says "Image file too large 5000 > 54466" or something like that. The device was not rooted before it broke either. This tablet is very expensive so If someone could please provide me with the PIT file for this device I would greatly appreciate it. (Image below is what the error is)

When Odin fails like that it usually means the firmware is not correct for your device.
It seems here you are trying to flash a very old kitkat firmware.
This may not be allowed by the bootloader if you are attempting to downgrade.
Try the firmware below. I also advise you upgrade your version of ODIN to at least 3.10.6

Unfortunately I got the same results

I assure you that (SM-T807P) is the correct model number because I wrote it down and made sure it was correct. Unless you have the PIT file for the device I doubt I'll get it working again. It needs to be re-partitioned while the OS is installed because no matter what I flash I get the same error.

First, thank you for finding the pit file for me. I flashed the firmware in Odin along with the pit file but this time I got a new error message I'm beginning to think this tablet is not going to recover now. I've tried three different firmwares one gave me the "invalid ext4 image" while other firmwares gave me the error message "Volume Size is too big 5120000 < 5929600"

I would use Smartswitch or kies to download your firmware to ensure its correct.
Select firmware upgrade and type in your model and serial.

I've already tried that method. Kies won't detect the device when I plug it in.

It doesn't need to detect it, just type in the model and serial and it will download the firmware.

I looked at the back and I didn't see anything but I took the back off and found this on the battery, is this it?

I don't think it is. I entered it in kies and it said it was wrong.

I think I know why I get an error when I flash firmware now. The pit file I flashed to my tablet wasn't for the 10.5in version it was for the 7in model. I don't know if the 10.5in and 7in share the same pit file but if they don't then that's my problem.

Thats the serial for the battery. Try downloading Samsung phone info. Im not sure if it gives the serial or not, cant remember.
Also not sure what you mean about the pit file, its definitely for the t807p?

OIC. [emoji54]
You could always try flashing the custom rom made by DUHasianskillz with twrp.

SM-T325 PIT

Hi,
Does anyone have one or know how to get it?
Odin is not able to download one.
Thanks,
Maced

Odin was not made for downloading anything.
Afaik it's integrated in the CSC.... file.
I've extracted it once and you're free to use it of course no warranty or anything.
Btw. what happened that you have to repartition it?
Thanks, actually I am not sure I have to.
To be totally honest - its first time I am trying to install a new OS on this device - it has original version now.
Was just following instructions online - I am not 100% aware about ins and outs. Also it seems JOdin does not allow install without PIT.
It says that the your PIT is corrupted.
Thanks!

Usually you uncheck repartition.
pit may afaik only be needed when device has lost it.
Odin works without.
You only flash TWRP with it and after that you don't need it anymore until you wanna turn back to stock.
Mine is from dbt stock firmware perhaps that's why.
Silly question but you've unpacked it?
@maced now that I'm home I've checked.
Extracted it from this stock file I've got via samfirm_reborn0.3.6.2: "CSC_OXA_T325OXA1BQB3_CL10765915_QB12683141_REV00_user_low_ship_MULTI_CERT.tar" what you can do yourself from the file suitable for your device.
